My review is base on Food seasoning ,texture, presentation, cooking techniques, aromas, service , correct temperature and last how welcome is the location. I ordered a Ribeye steak with mash potatoes and green beans. Steak was properly cooked medium well, but was under seasoned, had no flavor. I would have to say that the charbroiled flavor helped but not enough. Mash potatoes good flavor, but not garnished. Green beans under cooked had no flavor, no seasoning , tasted old. Presentation ok.

I order a second plate with Filet mignon that had some type white crumbles that appeared to be butter. It was not. It was blue cheese that ruined it. steak was dried and under seasoned.Mash potatoes was ok, broccoli under cooked....

Presentation ok. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance I felt welcome at the beginning.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But everything changed when I complained about what I received. Waiter not once came to my table to check if everything was ok if I needed anything. She was kind when she took the order,but she concentrated more on other people of her own kind. Very sad that still happens. Would I visit this place again I am not sure... Final quote. This place needs to put more attention to what's is being served and how to deliver great customer service.

Was my very first time coming here and I must say I am glad I did. We were celebrating a great win and came with our dear friends that have been helping us out and I am glad we came here for dinner. We were a party of 7 and our server was very accommodating. She was kind courteous and went above and beyond for us. We had a mix up on temperatures on 2 of the steaks but it was fixed right away. We all had steaks and some had shrimp and some had lobster. The sides were so delicious. We had the cheese bread and waygu dumplings as appetizers. The general manager stopped by our table and gave my little one ice cream. He was a very kind man and appreciated the kindness he showed our party. Will definitely come back here again soon and thank you the manager and staff for amazing service.

Mrs G can NOT have any sign of pink in her steak so she opted for burger and carefully spelled out "well done - no pink (health condition) - but NOT burnt. Ideally cut the burger in half while cooking". This always works at Fatburger - no problem. However at Black Angus it was a fiasco. The server delivered a totally burnt burger and had a horrible attitude, nasty to the extreme. And no way would we even consider having her prepare another burger for fear of what she might do with it - yuk! We told her to take it all away and deduct from the bill. I had taken a couple of bites out of my prime rib and all the salad and 1/2 my glass of wine so felt obliged to quickly gobble down some of mine. The manager was very nice, said that he would speak to her after we left and gave us every discount possible and nothing for the burned burger. Hence 2 points rather than the zero I wanted to give. Beware of burned burgers! We went to the nearby Capital Grill for dinner for Mrs G. Night and day difference - wow!! Yes double the prices - but 10x the service and quality of the food.....

Service is always great. Thank you to the very nice waitress who helped us recently. There is always a huge parking lot and parking is free, which is always nice. Unfortunately, this most recent visit was disappointing. I have ordered the Steak Cobb salad with no cheese before and enjoyed it, but this time it was quite small and had a large end-piece of lettuce in it. The salad proportions have also seemed smaller recently, but this visit it was especially small. Most of the lettuce had reddish edges and appeared to be getting old. The steak was also not well done, which is what I had requested, and there didn't appear to be any dressing on the salad. The avocado was also mostly brown, which I know doesn't make it bad, but combined with everything else it really made the salad look unappetizing. When I asked for dressing, the waitress mentioned that they are often stingy with it and said she knew because she has ordered the Steak Cobb herself. She was very nice and brought me some. The menu photo of the salad on the website looks very different from what I was served. See photos of the salad I received for details. I sent an email about this experience and received an apology with a request for my phone number. I haven't responded yet and am not sure if or when I will be back. I have been a customer for over ten years. When I think of eating out again, this place just doesn't sound as exciting as it used to. I may go there again at some point, but I'm not as motivated to return like I used to be.

If you don't have the BA Rewards program, you should get it. We visit our local [not Burbank] BA often and love the Happy Hour and the many specials that BA sends to their Rewards members. On this occasion, we dropped of our daughter and came here to try the new Manhattan Strip and Shrimp. This was one of our favorite steaks and the grilled shrimp were so good. We saw that our local GM, John, was here and he mentioned that he had moved here because it was closer to him. He always did a great job at our location and I am sure they are going to be happy he is now here. We ate at the bar tables and enjoyed their wine of the month. The Pino Noir was very good and love the Member prices. This is your typical BA design; very nice and comfortable.

My husband took me here to celebrate my birthday (8/27.) Prior to this experience, we have never been to black angus steak house before. We got the Spinach & Artichoke dip with chips and it was delicious! It was dusted with bread crumbs and that really added a nice touch! My husband said it was the best artichoke dip he has ever had. I got the 6oz filet mignon with the twin lobster tails and it was delicious! Super filling! For my sides, I got broccoli and au gratin potatoes. My husband got the 8oz filet mignon with a baked potato and Mac and cheese. My son got the chicken strips from the kids menu. All in all, we had a great experience. Service was fast and friendly. Lots of parking space in the parking lot, and inside was nice and cozy. Taking one star off because my husband had paid extra for a celebration reservation and they did not do it here at this location. (They ended up not charging him for it, but why even offer it if they don't do it at this location)

We chose the Three Course Dinner for Two, and it was absolutely the best decision. Paul G. wanted to take me out to dinner one Friday night, and we saw that there was still a Black Angus in town... we hadn't been in years and I don't know that I had ever been at all! The restaurant was almost empty on a Friday, and we were seated quickly. It's a huge space with a full bar area, screens everywhere playing sports, and good music volume. Paul ordered a Guinness, which wasn't poured correctly and was pretty flat when it reached our table. I ordered an espresso martini and then a prickly pear margarita (margaritas are pretty customizable with flavors and tequila types) which I really liked. He ordered a steak, and I went with the twin lobster tails with a side of lobster asparagus and mac and cheese. I know that I shouldn't have expected much, but the lobster was on the dry side and a very small portion. The complimentary bread was great and so was the fried shrimp appetizer, and we both really enjoyed the steak... next time, I'd stick with that and avoid the seafood! Service was pleasant and attentive. It's a chain and nothing super special about this location, but the prices are super reasonable for the dinner we had.

BLACK ANGUS JUST GOT A WHOLE NEW LEVEL OF EXCELLENCE Let me be very clear: this Black Angus is firing on all cylinders right now, and a huge reason for that is Paul, the new General Manager. Whatever they're paying this guy, it's not enough. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the difference. The service is dialed in, the energy is positive, and the staff actually looks like they enjoy being there--which says everything about leadership. Paul is present, professional, and genuinely cares about the guest experience. Not the fake "corporate walk-through" kind of care--the real kind. Now let's talk food. Perfectly cooked steaks, exactly how you order them. Juicy, flavorful, seasoned just right. The sides? On point. Fresh, hot, and clearly not an afterthought. Everything came out fast without feeling rushed, which is a rare balance to strike these days. What really stood out was the attention to detail. Refills handled without asking. Plates cleared at the right time. Friendly conversations without hovering. It felt like old-school hospitality done the modern way. I've been to plenty of restaurants where the food is good but the experience is forgettable. This was the opposite. You leave already thinking about when you're coming back--and that's not an accident. That's leadership. If you haven't been to Black Angus in a while, now is the time. And if Paul is the one setting the standard going forward, this place is only going to keep getting better. Five stars, zero hesitation.

Black Angus, what the glob? Robbie B, aren't you a picky 10+ year Yelper? Yes and Yes, but I am here to tell you, don't sleep on Black Angus. I half expected them to clang that triangle dinner bell like in the old movies. Just off the downtown Burbank scene, mega-large Black Angus looms right on First Street by the BJs. Old-style booths and super service. Half the guests have coupons and for those that don't, there are a zillion combos and specials on the menu, including an uncomfortable page called "Square Cow." I don't even want to think about that. Burgers, fries, prime rib, lobster combo (we didn't get it but the next table did and it looked pretty good), even the house salad was fresh and tasty. Everything's expensive nowadays, but I like the portions that guarantee a second meal, so you don't feel so bad as your next meal (at home or in a bag to heat up at the office) is free. Plus, you get two sides with every meal so the salmon ($28.99) doesn't seem so pricey. Also for the carb-counter, two chicken breasts for $20. We left completely stuffed and a handful of to-go bags. So far this location is the best Black Angus location I had been to! I made reservations to have lunch with my cousins and sister. We celebrated Galentine's there, because it was the one place we all agreed on and I'm glad we did! Let's talk about how flavorful the food was! I ordered a New York strip and it was perfectly seasoned and cooked the way I like it. For my two sides I ordered their loaded bake potato soup and their green beans. Their strawberry margarita was so good. I love their complementary molasses bread, it's always warm and delicious. For dessert I had their big mountain fudge cake, perfectly chocolaty goodness! such a perfect way to end my meal. The restaurant is not fancy, but it's comfortable. The highlight of my meal was the great service we received from Alma. She was amazing. She not only took our order but she made us feel like we were family. Our server, Amir, was very friendly, attentive, and answered all our questions about the rewards program. We ordered the Campfire Feast for two along with a single entrée. Between us we enjoyed the salmon, New York strip steak, and grilled chicken breasts with teriyaki sauce--everything was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. For dessert, we had the cheesecake, which was just as good as the entrées. The coupon doesn't state the restrictions on what entrees you can choose. When we ordered, we were told there are only four choices of entrees and only the smallest size steak was included. Such a steal. Buy one get one and the sides are included. For the buck Black Angus can't be beat. Budget friendly steak that definitely won't break the bank. It had been years if not a decade since I've been to a Black Angus. They are usually known for their campfire dinner for 2 and coupons in the Sunday paper. Prices are very affordable, especially for families. Came here for a Sunday dinner and took advantage of the buy one get one. We opted on 2 different cuts of steaks with 2 different buttered toppings. We had 2 salads, loaded mashed potatoe and Mac n Cheese. It was served with hot brown bread. We also ordered 2 meals to go for the family that was left behind. The food was delicious and my tummy was full. Service was friendly. My wallet was happy. Most meals start at $19.99 for chicken and Ceasars Salad. Steaks run just under $40.00-$60.00. I've spent double- triple the price at higher end steakhouses for the meat alone. read more

Just because it's dead doesn't mean you have to kill it. I ordered hot food, but I picked up a frozen tv dinner. I didn't expect perfection but I didn't expect this either. The au jus is supposed to be runny, not with added thickener. The mashed potatoes were legit cold inside. The green beans were raw inside with oil and no flavor. The Dr Pepper was flat and diet. It's not even worth the time of this review or a call. I just won't be back. read more

Came in for dinner during Sunday night football, they have a special Square Cow menu. I ordered crispy shrimp, green beans and au graten potatoes. I added a sidekick salad for $5 . I had two waiters. Both great but Esme is the best. She had rave reviews from the customers near me. She's great! This was a nice solo meal. Very relaxing. I could enjoy my food and drink and watch the game. The top thing about this place is the drinks! Super duper delicious, strong cocktails and at $10 not happy hour just regular all day everyday price, now that is spectacular We go the campfire 3 course meal through Groupon and it was okk The steak was a cheaper cut and I got the salmon which was good but sorta plain, wish it came with some sort of like mango salsa or anything sort of sauce really Also The steak soup was really good! Still though even with the Groupon deal, I think the food part was a little overpriced The side of rice was just too paltry and steak too cheap and I did leave a bit hungry The cheesecake was decent, not amazing but not bad, and same with the shrimp cocktail But the drinks really did make up for it and our server was very nice and on point! And they do give free warm bread at the beginning of meal which is very rare these days I don't think I'd come back for food unless really good deal but I would come back for the delicious cocktails Also I will say the super tall round huge leather booths are awesome and provide a lot of privacy read more

Today is our wedding anniversary but my husband wasn't feeling up to going out, so I ordered delivery from Black Angus in Burbank. We have ordered from them many times before, so we pretty much knew what to expect. We were SOOOO disappointed. I ordered a 6 oz. top sirloin steak medium rare. What we ended up with was a 3 1/2 oz. medium well, dry and very chewy steak. We shared it, so you can imagine that our portions were miniscule, although it shouldn't have been if the steak was indeed 6 oz. I will say that the baked potato was great, the vegetables were very good (we paid extra for them), and the molasses bread was good, albeit a little stale. Will we order from them again? We came here yesterday for Thanksgiving. First of our rsvp was 1pm. We got to the parking lot around 12:15 pm because we knew parking would be busy and yes sure enough we didn't get to park till 12:45pm. We went inside and there was so many people but I went ahead and checked in. About 10 mins they called us in and took us in the back and sat us. Waited for few minutes and our waiter who did not introduced came asked us if everyone was ready and I informed him my daughter is just parking but she'll be here and he ok I'll be back. 5 mins my daughter got there and was next to me me. Few minutes later he came back and again did not introduced himself and said are you guys ready to order your drinks? We said yeah. So we let him know what we want. The sodas and water came quick but my TG fall martini and Angry Orchard took a long while. He said they were still making my drink. So we were starving and my daughter asked if we can have bread and he said "I usually bring those after I take your order". So he took our order 4 turkey dinner, 1 steak and 1 shrimp. My other daughter asked if she can have dark meat and he said no we o Kay have white meat. My daughter said oh really and no reply. So my daughter was forced to white meat turkey dinner. 20 mins later my drink came but no bread. My daughter asked again and he said ok. He came back with 1 round piece of bread and small butter for 6 people and he delivered also the same amount of bread for 2 people a cross from us. So we all ate small pieces shared 1 small bread. So mind you we were starving and put RSVP was 1pm. Around 1:59pm we asked where our food he said oh they are making it. 2:15pm still no food so we asked for another break and he came back with our bread but also delivered food across from us who came after us this guy was all over the place. He would bring food to us and will take it again and give it to other table. He was confused with the salad. He took the salad from our table without saying anything and delivered to another table. This time I was so irritated and we were all hungry. I told my daughter to go to the manager and tell him that was have been waiting for our food. He went to check and all of a sudden our food was ready. When all our food arrived I said a waitress to take our picture and the time stamp was 2:58 pm almost 2 hours? For premade turkey dinners. After we got our food we were eating and all of a sudden that's when he started checking on us and everything was ok. I'm not gonna lie I was not responding but for 1 I was pissed and hangry. So we all decided moving forward never again. Holiday or none holiday. Not one apologies. Very disappointed and bad service. On top of that he put water of my mother in-laws sprite. SMH. I don't know why the receipts shows 1:54 pm when our food didn't come till 2:58pm. Sucky ass service read more

I ordered Thanksgiving Dinner for four and it was all absolutely amazing & so so delicious. The turkey was so tender and juicy. The stuffing was phenomenal & I loved the crunch in it with the celery . The sweet potatoes were so yummy it tastes like candy. I would definitely recommend this. I will definitely get this again. My friends came from Czech Republic and wanted to go out for a reasonable steak dinner. So we opted to go Black Angus. They had a deal for the Cowboy Special for 2. Seemed like a lot of good for a fairly reasonable price. There were 4 of us so we ordered two of the specials. We started off with the garlic cheese bread and $5 upgraded sampler appetizer. The garlic bread was basic. The sampler had a good variety and was decent, however the shrimp had a mealy texture and was a bit off putting. For our entrees.. My husband got the ribs, 2 of us ordered the ribeye $5 each upgrade and one of us opted for grilled chicken. We were all very happy with the taste and portions of our proteins. The Mac& cheese was really good! The broccoli was terrible. It looked old and it was overcooked. Potatoes were ok. French fries were good. Steak soup was good. Dessert we ordered the chocolate torte and carrot cake to go as we were absolutely stuffed and not heading home immediately. The carrot cake was nice. The torte was ok. Maybe it's just I'm not a huge fan of chocolate. No one finished it at home so guessing it was just an okay item. I think the cowboy cookie would have been the way to go.. but the ice cream wouldn't have made it. 2 long islands & a red wine .. The bill with to was over$200! Good grief. So much for reasonable. Overall the food was good. The service was excellent! The establishment was well maintained. Be careful of the upgrades as they add up quickly. Plenty of food so it can be shared for sure. I probably wouldn't opt for the DEAL again, but if you want a lot of food.. This is the place. read more

My husband and I had an absolute amazing time tonight at Black Angus steakhouse. We ordered the steak trio, which came with sirloin steak cooked to perfection, fried shrimp, and lobster tail when I tell you this meal was top notch and then to top it off the server NURIA absolutely absolutely stellar. Her Customer service was wonderful, very welcoming. She was very familiar with the menu which made that an added bonus. I ordered two medium rare 6 ounce sirloin steaks, with two loaded baked potatoes, and two salads for delivery. Not only did it take 90 minutes, one of the steaks came well done and burnt. We visited Black Angus on Sunday, April 5 on Easter and our expectation was to take the food with us since we were visiting and just coming from Las Vegas our home. And I just want to say that we were completely amazed! It started out with us ordering a meal for pick up via Uber eats. When we arrived after receiving a message that the food was ready, we went to the front counter to confirm, and the food was not quite ready because of a system error. A very wonderful manager Frank came over and he offered us an appetizer while our food was being prepared , and I tell you that this was the start of a great relationship. We were prepared to take the food with us, and per the managers recommendation, we ended up sitting at the restaurant having drinks, and having a delicious appetizer and great conversation with Frank.The food was absolutely delicious, everything was prepared according to our specifications, and Frank made us feel like family. He is absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond ,and that is something that really makes a great restaurant greater, and ignites into a wonderful experience.! We ended up staying at the Resturant, for every bit of two hours because we were having such a great time and your choice and management is the reason why. I wish that this message could reach corporate on every level because your restaurant is amazing!, and your choice of management is superb! We also had the opportunity to meet the GM/John and he is equally as wonderful. I've driven past Papa's Meat and Seafood on Glenoaks Blvd a dozen times, on our many trips to the area. We alway promising that we would stop in, and I'd finally stop in. Honestly, my only regret is waiting this long. I ordered the Luka Sandwich, which is loaded with their 14-hour smoked pastrami brisket, cheddar, pickled cherry peppers, iceberg, and Papa's aioli on toasted sourdough. The pastrami itself is a work of art--smoky, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and seasoned perfectly without being a total salt bomb. The pickled cherry peppers give it this incredible, bright pop of heat that cuts right through the richness of the beef. It's a messy, beautiful monster of a sandwich. My wife went with the Surf 'n' Turf Bowl, which comes with their marinated "Crack Shrimp" and grilled angus beef over rice with a fresh shirazi salad. The beef was incredibly tender, but those crack shrimp stole the show--snappy, heavily seasoned, and completely addictive. You can clearly taste the quality of a high-end butcher shop in a casual, quick-service lunch. The only reason I'm knocking off one star is the wait time and the seating is also pretty limited, so it's much better suited for a grab-and-go situation than a sit-down date night. That being said, the quality of the meat here blows standard sandwich joints completely out of the water. She loves it also. The manager, Emily, was so warm and friendly as was everybody else who works there. Every time I've returned, she greets me by my name with a smile. I have no problem eating lunch there two days in a row. I'm kind of addicted to the salmon salad and the lime dressing. I've been burned out on zucchini throughout my life But I liked theirs so much that I recreated the dish at home and it'll probably be the only way I want to eat zucchini at home from now on! The location is very easy to get to from the theater and my home. I look forward to trying other dishes ! I'd driven by this place since I often worked in the area or used the streets as a shortcut of sorts, while this was relatively close to his office in Studio City. Opened in 1994 by restaurateur Rudolfo Costella and fellow Venetian Master Chef Antonio Tommasi, the idea was to offer a glimpse into the atmosphere, cuisine, and culture of Northern Italy and a Venetian country inn in the center of the San Fernando Valley. Costella has since expanded his empire with a few more restaurants in Phoenix, AZ and Southern California, respectively. Would I feel at home under the guise of the warm Northern Italian sun!? PURCHASE(S) Breads & Dipping Sauce (COMP): Fresh puffy warm breads and an olive tapenade dipping sauce was a beautiful way to get this lunch started! It was refillable, but we were good. Peroni Nastro Azzurro Pale Lager Beer 5.1% ABV 12floz Bottle ($7.00): Amber honey color, honey malty aroma, light body, light bready malty flavor, clean effervescent finish, and a light malty sweet aftertaste. OVERALL I was so happy to finally try Ca' Del Sole and couldn't wait to return, especially to try their Happy Hour (MO-FR 5pm-Close in the bar lounge area only; everything $5.00). The food was awesome, the menu selection was vast, the prices were a touch elevated, the atmosphere was European casual, and the service was top-notch. Plus, I preferred to support small mom & pop businesses whenever possible (sure, they owned a few other restaurants). First, their cafe de olla is absolutely delicious. This remains one of the only places where I genuinely enjoy ordering cafe de olla. Second, their food is incredible. They serve excellent portions, everything tastes fresh, and the food is just so good. I've had their taquitos and chilaquiles, and both were delicious. The only downside is that every time I've come, there has usually been a bit of a wait, especially because the restaurant itself is pretty small with limited seating. The inside is cute, but small, so we usually end up sitting outside. This is where their Monrovia location does have the advantage because it has much more space. Parking can also be tricky. Good luck finding a spot close enough where you don't have to walk far. We usually end up parking in the residential area around the corner. That said, the staff are wonderful and always try to be as accommodating as possible despite how busy they are. Highly recommend this place if you're okay with possibly waiting a bit for seating. The food and cafe de olla are worth it.

Located right in downtown Burbank, you walk in and order at the counter, you get a number, and they bring the food out to your table when ready. It's very casual, plenty of seating inside and outside. Staff were super friendly and welcoming, which is a huge deal and very rare nowadays. They even had a new happy hour special. Who doesn't love a $3 beer with lunch? As for the food, I was thoroughly impressed! Pastrami melt was amazing! Full of delicious pastrami, melted cheese, and pickles. So delicious! Fries looked like they were actual fresh made fries, not frozen, which was a nice surprise. I could also tell that they make their ranch from scratch. The bbq chicken sandwich was also delicious. Side salad was super fresh. Everything was so delicious! Portions nice; prices fair. I am impressed with Wild Carvery because I could tell that the ingredients are fresh and the quality is high. I also suspect that they make their own pickles? But I'm not sure. If quality and freshness are important to you, I highly recommend checking out Wild Carvery. I can't wait to come back and try their burgers.

I just want to say the reason I am posting this review on Yelp with a fake account is because I would like to remain anonymous since i frequently dine at the bar in Black Angus since i stay across the street at the hotel when I'm away on business. Last night i witnessed some behavior in the bar by a certain customer that seems to be familiar with all the employees and customers. I usually come in on Sunday nights for football and a steak dinner before i start my long week. I like to relax and drink a beer and enjoy the company of the girls behind the bar, and the other patrons around me. However, last night was the exception to the usual experience. IN NO WAY IS THIS REVIEW ABOUT THE EMPLOYEES OR THE ESTABLISHMENT ITSELF. A man in a raiders jersey sat himself at the bar last night, and made constant derogatory comments to the bartender and behind her back the entire night. His vulgar language made an uncomfortable dining experience. His attitude and his behavior to the bartender working made for a very awkward and almost hostile environment. However, the incident that needs attention brought to was the scene he caused as he was leaving. Although I was sitting a couple seats down I was able to catch the entire episode he created as was the rest of the bar. After demanding the check from a bartender who was not serving him, she politely and calmly told the man she would get his check as soon as the other bartender returned. For some reason the man felt the need to shout to the other bartend while she was taking to another customer and demand his check once more. When she said she would get it in just a moment he loudly proclaimed that if he didn't have a check he was walking out on his bill. The other bartender tried to defuse the situation and this only upset him more. She asked if he would like to speak to a manager and he LOUDLY shouted management "doesn't do shit he was going to corporate". Not sure why he felt the need to cause such a scene. Through out the night he spoke nonsense and degraded the establishment he was in. He told another guest who was complimenting a drink the bartender had made, "you're drink is good? huh that's a surprise considering who made it.". Much more was exchanged between the two but I don't feel the need to post this mans vulgar language. I would like to ask why management wasn't involved in this situation, why this man is invited to come back, and why no one has said anything before. If management sees this please feel free to contact me and i would be happy to privately message back. This behavior was not appropriate for a restaurant. Your employees deserve more respect. Very bad experience from an unprofessional waitress for not knowing the menu or how to articulate correctly with the employees that work in the kitchen as well as back talking to customers is considered ok to do at this black angus. After filing an email and over the phone complaint with the general manager over multiple issue with this waitress about getting in a small dispute over garlic butter sauce that goes on broccoli which states in the black angus menu which she assumed I was trying to scam black angus to get the $4 dollar garlic and herb sauce to put on my new york streak for Free. I kept telling her over and over that I have been coming here for years and was just there multiple times last month but just didn't believe me. She choose to challenge me by proving me wrong after the altercation to bring the manager over to prove me wrong and she is right and I'm wrong. I asked the manager is she trained or is this her first day on the job? After finding out that the waitress has been working for Black Angus for 2 years and not knowing the menu or how to articulate correctly with the employees that work in the kitchen is very unprofessional. The General Manager that I sent the email to as well as spoken to over the phone about my complaint was caught off guard because the waitress never got a complaint in over two years that its just very hard to believe she did something like this but anyway I will send you a compensation gift card for making up for the bad experience. I never received the gift card after weeks but the general manager got my home address WRONG. How can you be a General Manager that been employed with black angus for years and can't take down a very simple home address to send a gift card is just so unprofessional. I filed a complaint with Black Angus Corp which a District Manager called me back. I got the same runaround claiming the waitress just needs more training. The waitress has worked at black angus for 2 years and still needs more training? My bill total was $65 dollars plus tip and they mailed me a gift card for $25 dollars to compensate for this bad experience. $65 dollars plus tip - $25 dollars = $40 dollars that I lost This just confirms that the District Manager, Black Angus Guest Relations, General Managers, etc could care less about making it up to you I will never support a business or company that has a bunch of "Empty Suits" as management conducting decisions based on past experiences and not knowing what to do. As a steak lover, I had high expectations, and I'm thrilled to say that they were exceeded. The service at Black Angus was top-notch. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and made to feel incredibly welcome. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about ensuring we had a fantastic dining experience. Now, let's talk about the main event - the ribeye. I have always considered this establishment a ''go to'' for Prime Rib, but today, I must say I doubt I shall ever return. It bothers me when people in the industry complaint that the economy is to blame for not making money.. Today was a ''Prime'' example... I should have known it was not going to be a good place to enjoy when my girlfriend ordered hot chocolate and the server said that they did not carry it.. I looked at him and said, do u have milk? Do you have chocolate syrup? Well how about it if you whip those two together??!! And sure enough, he did only to have cold chocolate instead of hot chocolate. She than had to kindly ask if he could warm up the drink for her!! Really?!! The lobster had no taste, even after I drenched it with lemon juice and table salt. The dipping butter seemed as if I was oiling up my lobster for a nice shine rather than having any purpose for taste. The filet my girlfriend ordered looked like a dried out hockey puck that had been steamed with the lobster instead of grilled. I mean- is a steak house now ordering their steaks with per-grill marks on them? Come on.. I was forced to eat my plate only due to the fact that I was starving and didn't wish to go through the hassle of getting up and searching for another place. I'm not sure where the managers are at while customers are eating at this Black Angus located in burbank because most of the customers that are sitting in the booths are talking so loud as well as allowing their kids to be screaming at the tables and running around. Major issues with this Black Angus Located in burbank with the customers talking level and allowing their kids to be screaming and running around is totally low class paying very high prices. The TIP alone they want 15% which is $10 dollars minimum with only two people getting only two meals. When you're paying $55 dollars and up, plus the TIP which is 10% to be hearing multiple tables surrounding you hearing the adjacent booths packed with customers talking level that is very loud plus letting their kids just screaming and running around is so low class. This Black Angus is like living in a low class part of town but paying very high prices which you will leave very annoyed and not relaxed at all. Corporate needs to look into their managers and employees to start controlling their customers talking level and the customers kids that are screaming and running around. There are other customers that don't like hearing this while eating and getting annoyed as well as paying a lot of money for an eating in an environment like this. read more

Poorly ran business I have order take out orders from this black angus a few times and every time they forgot things and mess up the orders. I ordered a steak dinner with mushrooms and onions and they charged me $6 dollars just for the mushroom and onions for the toppers. This manager that was very short that stop growing after he was 4 yrs old told me that is what I ordered and showed me the menu of the prices. I told him I didn't order mushrooms and onions "separately", I order them in the combination which should only be $3 dollars not $6 dollars. This manager said I will NOT adjust your bill. I asked for a side of steak sauce and when I opened up the container it was only a 1/8inch of steak sauce in the container. I guess they are running very low on steak sauce to not even give 1/2 inch of steak sauce in the contain not even half full to a customer that is spending $22 dollars on a meal. When I order my steak dinner I had to wait 30mins in the lobby area which is way to long for a steak dinner. This is how they treat their customers just like trash read more

I will start with saying that the food was good. My steak was cooked really well and sides were nice. However, the rest of the experience was not great. After being seated at our table, it took 20 minutes before we were ever even greeted by our server, and that's only because I had to stop and ask a busboy if they could find out who our waiter is. When he (Chris I think was his name) finally came over to ask us what we wanted to drink, I realized he was the waiter that had walked by our table multiple times, so surely he had noticed we were there waiting, right? For the rest of the evening he was pretty slow and inefficient. There were only 3 of us eating but it took us 2 hours to finish with our meal because of how slow he was moving. The other tables in our area didn't seem to be having this issue so not sure what was going on. Anyways, long story short, I, nor do the other two people that were with me, do not plan on ever coming back here. The food was fine but it's not worth the hassle. read more

Excellent prime rib dinner. We got the "2 for" which comes with a variety of entrees from which to choose. Each of you can have a different entree or the same. The meal includes an appetizer to share...the fried zucchini is delicious! It also includes 2 sides for each person. The au gratin potatoes are amazing. It also comes with a dessert to share. We ordered the hot fudge cake...a 3 or 4 layer chocolate cake with vanilla bean ice cream on top served with hot fudge to drizzle over it. It was also very good but by then we were getting pretty full. We ate there while visiting my daughter who lives there, we are from Ohio. Our next rip to California will certainly include Black Angus. My daughter and her husband are planning to return for their anniversary. Our server, Amanda was also great. read more

I recently dined at Black Angus and I had the pleasure of being served by Mariana. From the moment we sat down, Mariana's exceptional service stood out. She was not only attentive and friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, helping me and my friends navigate our choices with great recommendations. Her genuine enthusiasm and professionalism made our dining experience truly enjoyable. She anticipated our needs before we even asked and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. Mariana's dedication to her role did not go unnoticed, and she certainly enhanced our visit. If you're lucky enough to have Mariana as your server, you're in for a treat. Highly recommend! read more

I'm a regular at this Black Angus, I come pretty often with my boyfriend and family, but ive noticed something a bit off about the manager I believe. His name is Ronnie and he's a pretty short buff man who i've noticed has started taking a liking to wearing meta glasses to his place of work. Now if these are on a recording during hours of work, i am concerned for the young helpful hostess's and servers, especially the young women. It's an unnecessary and quite uncomfortable invasion of privacy at this place of work. Black Angus is lovely but beware of this man. Pretty weird tone wearing glasses that can record at a push of a button on employees and families that don't know. read more

SO FIRST OFF WANT TO SAY BEST FOOD I HAVE HAD IN A WHILE. First time I have ever been here and the food was absolutely some of the best. I got the 12 oz. Ribeye it was cooked just how I wanted and made me tear up a little. However the best part was the service. I am used to a place like Island with good service you know. Yet here the service is some of the best I have seen in so long. The best part was the server or hostess whatever they are called Kim. She is so sweet and feels like I have known her my entire life. She makes the experience even better. I also never felt rushed or pushed when taking ages to order. The whole atmosphere was to die for. read more

This place is an absolute joke. There's a reason the place is empty. The host/server who helped me was very kind, but the manager is a different story. The restaurant industry is all about customer satisfaction and retention, but apparently, some people don't know that. When my gift card wasn't working, he just shrugged his shoulders and told me to call a 1800 number. That was it. You could tell the waiters were unhappy to be working under this guy. Honestly, I wasn't upset when the host told me it wasn't working because he was super kind about it. But the manager needs to be called out for his poor attitude. read more

If I could give more stars I would. My parents and I come here at least twice a month. The Manager, Joey, is the ONLY reason why we decided to come back. He is truly amazing & a true asset to Black Angus. He makes us feel at home and the customer service he provides is over and beyond. Joey is great at what he does! The ambience is nice and the food is always delish! The restaurant & restrooms are always clean. We are always greeted with a smile by the hostess and seated relatively quickly. Bate and switch #3? I checked the website and I saw a special I really wanted. I called the location and I asked the person who worked there if they had this special when he said yes I left the LAX. After travailing for over one hour and 45 min. I finally arrived at the location come to find out that the location really didn't have the special I wanted. I spoke to the Manger he took me to another page of the website and it said certain locations only and they weren't participating, Then I said that i called and spoke to someone who said it was there Monday special the manager asked me to leave read more

"A Disheartening Farewell to Black Angus in Burbank" After two decades of loyalty to Black Angus, my Christmas Eve experience in 2023 was nothing short of disappointing. The prime rib, once a highlight, turned out chewy and raw - a far cry from the quality I had come to expect. Despite discreetly sharing my concerns with the manager, the only response was an explanation about a recent change in meat suppliers. To add to the dismay, there was no compensation for our $200 meal and tip. Sadly, after years of patronage, this experience has led me to bid farewell to a once-beloved establishment. read more

I had such a wonderful experience at Black Angus in Burbank! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. I got the chicken avocado sandwich and it was so fresh and flavorful perfectly cooked chicken with creamy avocado and great seasoning. We also ordered the filet mignon with mashed potatoes, and it was cooked perfectly tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The mashed potatoes were smooth, buttery, and the perfect side. The service overall was friendly, the atmosphere was warm and comfortable, and the whole experience was amazing. We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend! read more

My family and I have been going here for a long time and the last time I went, I found something horrid in my salad. I was eating my Cesar salad, which I usually love but this time after I was almost done eating the entire salad, I found about 12 baby COACH-ROACHES crawling around on the salad. I threw up and told the manger, all I got from the manager was a "sorry" and "we will look into it." I dint get my money back nor did I get any coupon. I believe to this day it still hasCOACH-ROACHES but I refuse to go back. I hope you are reading this review before you have eaten the food. read more
