Probably the worst birthday dinner experience I've ever had. Very expensive even AFTER A DISCOUNT. The service here is sad, our waitress the poor girl, had the hardest time dealing with everything- by all means she did her best. It's been a while since I've been to this location. This visit however is just to pick up some food. Customer Service: For both in-person and over the phone was outstanding. I'm 95% sure it's the same person because she was very nice and friendly. It's too bad I didn't get her name. Phone ordering: The lady who took my order was genuinely nice, I could literally hear her smile over the phone. She was patient as I couldn't remember the sizes of prime rib they have that I usually order. After she took my order she repeated it back to me for accuracy and I appreciated that. In-person: I came in there were 3 ladies by the hostess table, it so happens that the same girl was called on to take care of me. She was so efficient and considerate because she came back and told me that it will take a few more minutes as they were waiting for fresh baked bread (and I really love their bread ~drool~). I asked her about how many minutes as I had my dog outside. Well it took a bit more than 3 minutes so I went out to ensure my dog was okay. When my order came out the same lady who was helping brought my food outside so I won't have to tie my dog and leave her for a minute. I thought that was excellent customer experience as she really didn't have to if she didn't want to do that. So thank you. Location and parking: I really liked that this branch has an easy access to and from the freeway. They have ample spaces of parking spaces and it goes around the restaurant which was really nice. Food: The food was as good as I remember, it was fresh and was still warm when I got home. I ordered the 8oz prime rib, medium rare (so if I needed to warm it up a little it wouldn't over cook it). It was very tasty and tender. True to her word the bread was fresh, soft and just delectable. Cost: I spent about $27 for 8oz prime rib, 2 sides (soup and mash potatoes) and fresh bread, that included a little tip. But that amount went a long way as it truly satisfied my long due cravings for Black Angus. Now why only 4 stars? Unfortunately the rest room was unkempt, there were toilet seat covers and toilet papers on the floors in the stall, it also reeked of strong urine smell. I stayed at the hotel next door so after going to various Black Angus restaurants over the years, and never really a good experience, I decided to try the o e in Burbank. I'm a glutton for punishment. It wasn't busy at all. I sat at a bar table. After about 10 minutes someone finally came to ask if I wanted anything. I ordered a cocktail and water. She dropped off bread that was stale and hard as a rock. It sucked. Ordered a ribeye steak, rare, with broccoli. I asked about the potatoes and the waiter said go with the scallop potatoes. Or au gratin. I can't remember. But they were terrible as well. The crappy potatoes come with some kind of bread crumbs on them. Not good. $80 for one person, and shit good to boot. Great atmosphere. The sweet molasses bread wasn't what I thought it would be. Came out fresh, warm, and soft but after about 30 mins was starting to dry out. Steaks were cooked perfectly as ordered, well done was still juicy not dry at all. The Ribeye and New York strip steaks are very fatty compared to the Top Sirloin. No matter which steak you get though expect it to have good flavor. Au Gratin potatoes were AMAZING they did not skimp on the cheese, same with the macaroni. Regular mashed potatoes look plain but surprisingly had great flavor. Artichoke spinach dip had great flavor also definitely could've used more cheese though. Garlic cheese bread for an appetizers is a great choice, amazing flavor with lots of cheese. Mud pie for dessert still not sure what it was exactly but it was delicious as well. Also the cowboy chocolate chip cookie is good. Comes out warm with a scoop of ice cream. In this deal, you get complete course meal from appetizer, 2 main dish with 2 sides, and dessert. Also comes with loft of bread. This is my favorite. Actually I come to Black Angus for this bread.. it is very additive.... In general, I was fully satisfied with the meal. However, I was dissappointed with the server. From the beginning, my server had some problems.. giving attitudes. I don't know what was going through in his life but he shouldn't bring that to work and express his issues on the customers. Mixed. It's a hit and miss. Sometimes the food is good, sometimes you send it back, sometimes your server is awesome and sometimes, your server is a ghost and you can't find him/her. Regardless, this is a super relaxed place to eat lunch and have good conversations. Usually there isn't a wait here. Sweater and sweats are totally appropriate or dress nicer too. One of the best steakhouses in town! For starters, we chose the loaded potato skin & crispy fried garlic-pepper zucchini that came in big serving good for 4-5 persons. Then I got the 1/2 lb prime rib in medium rare that literally melts in the mouth. On the side was grilled brussel sprouts surprisingly tasty, perfect match for my steak! I also tried their loaded potato soup in a salty sweet creamy texture, a good balance on my meal. Of course, desserts would not be missed. Recently, for our 29th wedding anniversary we chose Black Angus as our restuarant to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The lobster was over cooked and we were charged for a baked potato when it should have been considered as one of the two sides and I paid $ 2.00 extra for aspharugus and they barely had much aspharagus at all. We paid $ 126.00 for our (2) filet mignon and (2) lobster tail meals. We will never revisit a Black Angus again. Recently , we went to Chili's and my wife had the filet mignon meal and I chose the 1/2 rack of rib meal. We paid $ 28.00 for our meal + $ 7.00 tip for ourvwaitress = $ 35.00 and our meal was so excellent. The food was awesome. read more

We went to Black Angus for the first time on Thanksgiving. We have 20ish people in the family and we usually go to a restaurant for Thanksgiving and other celebrations. Every time we go somewhere, our service is subpar which makes the gathering stressful and less enjoyable. On Thanksgiving, Bianca was our server and she was fabulous. She was very organized, she checked on us more than enough, we always had refills and she was pleasant! Our gathering was so enjoyable because of Bianca. Food was extremely salty. My entree was supposed to come with two sides which I ordered but only received one. We never got any refill on our drinks which was served at the beginning, but all our glasses were empty after the appetizer. When we got to the entree, we couldn't enjoy eating as all our glasses were empty and the food was salty and difficult to finish without any water to push it down our throat. But a couple days ago, I attended a company dinner and ordered the ribeye steak cooked medium with a lobster tail, a side of broccoli and mashed potato. It was impressively good. The steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection, which is the key entree. The lobster tail was a tad dry for my first lobster tail ever. The service was exceptional too. It feels like ever since they reopened after the pandemic, the quality of food has gone up. I went tonight for the first time after COVID hit and was seriously impressed by the quality: my parents and I ordered the Campfire Feast, which came with a choice of appetizer, 2 entrees, and a dessert. For the appetizer, we got the chicken tenders - easily some of the best I've had. Not dry at all, super juicy even if it was all white meat. For the entrees, we paid an extra 4 dollars to get the 6 oz filet mignon and I honestly devoured mine so fast because it pretty much melted in my mouth. (Medium, butterfly cut) Also want to shout out to our server Pedro M, who was super attentive (brought us empty plates and sauces to use before we had to ask, came around with more hot water to fill our cups while we ate) and easily the best I've ever encountered in this particular establishment. Came here on a Sunday around 1pm. Our area wasn't very packed but we only had 1 waitress handling about 3-4 tables. The food came out quickly and everything was delicious. We ordered the campfire feast with upgraded sampler platter- everything in it was pretty good. I also upgraded my entree to a ribeye steak which was a huge upgrade compared to the NY strip. The service we received was great, we had a lovely and really cute waitress take our orders and give us drinks. In terms of the food, we ordered a rib eye dinner plate with a salad and soup. And there was also a two for $58 special, which includes two entrees, two side dishes for each entree, an appetizer, and a dessert. I split this with my mom and brother. Entrees were BBQ chicken and ribs, and a rib-eye steak, cooked really well and all the meat super tender. Baked potato, two types of salads, and onion rings were all part of the sides, as well as the spinach dip appetizer. Loaded potato skins , not good they were hard, like they preheated them to serve it to us. Cobb salad, tasteless! Never again, avocado was all brown! We didn't eat it!
