Steaks are tough, and no matter how you order them they are overcooked. I have ordered medium rare... each time and it comes out well done or medium well done every time. We ended up at Black Angus steakhouse and I asked the hostess how long would it be for a party of two and she said that it would be 10 minutes and I went to the car and picked up my mother-in-law and we ended up walking in and they said your table is ready. Then we sat in Brett's section who was excellent from the first hello. He. Was very very kind and sweet and a great waiter. He made terrific suggestions for wine appetizers and our dinner. And we had wanted everything we and more and it was delicious! The steak and the salmon were cooked perfection . She took our order correctly and it came out in a timely manner she was very attentive and constantly came over to our table to check up on us to see if we needed anything else. We did the campfire dinner. Ordered Calamari they were amazing. The hubby ordered the prime rib for the 1st time rare and he said it was delicious. It was tender, juicy, flavorful and the fat melted in his mouth. He also had the steak soup and loaded baked potato he said it was so good too. I had the garden salad with blue cheese, I love their blue cheese here it's the best. The filet mignon was medium well and it was so juicy and flavorful, every bite melted in my mouth. The loaded baked potato never disappoint also very good. My son got the kids steak and fried shrimp with mash and fries, everything was cooked to perfection. Even the Pepsi which I don't care for Pepsi was well carbonated that I had to get a few refills because of how refreshing it was. The water also tasted really good, the filters must be very clean because you can taste the quality in the drinks as well as the beer. Hubby had a blue moon and he said it was nice and cold and frosty. Our dessert was the red velvet cheesecake but I ordered it to go since we were full. My son had his kids ice cream Sunday and he loved it as well. Overall I give them a AAA+++ why because we were greeted when we arrived with a warm welcoming smile and didn't have to wait too long to be seated even tho we had no reservations. the waiter and the bus boys were on top of it and kept clearing out our dirty dishes. My wife and I went to dinner here for her birthday because it was one of the only things that open later in the evening and honestly, we went very begrudgingly because we've had terrible experiences in the past not necessarily at this location, but just a franchise in general. So we went in with not very high hopes. But I have to say Caramel our waiter, she was absolutely fantastic. She had a bunch of people she was serving, but she didn't make us feel like we were a bother, she was able to take care of everybody's order in a very timely fashion, and I have to say the food was pretty good for being a chain restaurant.
