A big thank you to Jaya and her manager (whose name I didn't get) who helped me tonight with an email reward that wasn't working on my account. They were very kind and patient, helping to get the reward applied quickly and correctly. Jaya was also very attentive to the dining room, checking in on guests and clearing pizza pans. Pizza was yummy, as usual. Can never go wrong with a s'mores pie. I haven't dined in at a Blaze in a very long time, but the establishment was really well maintained for late on a "holiday" night. Thank you Blaze team for making a long travel day a bit brighter this Halloween!

I've been to a Blaze Pizza location in Pittsburgh before, but my experience here was much better! We stopped after I was just picked up from the airport. You get in line and make your pizza with the employee as you go down the line. I like that you can add as many toppings as you want for no extra charge. Obviously I loaded mine up with a ton of veggies. I got the regular crust, red sauce, fresh mozzarella and ricotta cheese, and almost every veggie. I also added the vegan chorizo on half because I remembered it being pretty spicy last time. Our pizza was brought out before we were even finished getting our drinks after paying. So quick! The girl that came around to the tables really made our experience great. She was so friendly and brought us silverware, parmesan cheese, and red pepper flakes without us even asking. She brought around boxes and made sure everyone was doing well. We couldn't believe how great the service was. We each ate half of our pizzas and the rest was still good the next day heated up. This was the perfect stop before/after the airport!

I think, in all the years I've come here, they've only fire bricked my pizza ONCE, and they were so professional that they wouldn't serve me that pizza. Instead, they created the same pizza and fired up another one. Every pizza I have created has been mouthwateringly delicious! I bring my mom here, because it's one of the only places that she can get a gluten-free pizza, ordered custom-made the way she likes it. Every pizza is made right then, with the toppings, sauces, cheeses, & dough. Don't Forget the Garlic Pesto finishing sauce, and don't worry, they won't look at you crazy when you select every topping except one and they have to ask another buddy to help put that monster of a pizza in the fast-fired oven! It's SO worth it! It is pizza from the gods! And if you find yourself having to go to the bathroom, these are the bathrooms to go to! They are well stocked, clean and smells like your in a booshie upscale bathroom.

I've passed this location/establishment quiet a few times and it always seems busy so I decided to give it a try. I'm loyal to one particular pizza spot so I was curious to check this it. The restaurant was clean upon entrance. I was very excited to be able to add any toppings you wanted but that's a norm for most pizza joints-you're able to add what you want to your pizza. The gentleman that took our order was nice but the rest of the staff was okay. The food was delivered to the table hot & fresh. The staff did have on mask-table not socially distant.

If we are sending to each other then it's okay to use your phone at the table Lmao. (As long as the kids aren't around that is lol)

Not All Blaze Pizzas are created Equal! Blaze Pizza has a great menu and a great program! That said so long as you don't scream that up you can land a 3 star from jump. To get those last two stars really comes down to the people, the experience, the location. Unfortunately, the Blaze at RiverCity Marketplace leaves a lot to be desired. It's not that they are awful, or rude/mean, it's not that the restaurant is dirty, or even that something particularly awful happened. It's just that nothing great happened either. They're not mean or rude but they're also not super pleasant or nice. They don't follow standard restaurant social cues like when I'm standing way back and looking at the menu and to come order I would easily have to walk 5 steps up to speak at a normal volume to order but you yell out if we are ready to order and there is no one behind us... then seem someone put off when we say no. It's not filthy but it's also not well kept and the set up really doesn't make sense. For example the only place to get napkins is on top of the trash can... tables are fixed to the floor so that one side is lined in a booth and the other chairs, there is a gap between the table in the middle on both side but not big enough for someone to get out between them so if you're in the booth you would have to ask the people seated next to you to please get up if you needed to get out for any reason. The menu is fantastic, the ingredients are wonderful and so long as they get that right you will not be disappointed in the food but if you're looking for a solid dining experience or are something of a germaphobe this place isn't for you. Oh and if you get the veggie pizza, you will have to add veggies to it because "seasonal veggies, mushrooms, red onions, 2-3 types of cheese" sometimes means broccoli, mushrooms, and cheese. So though the menu is solid and the food tastes amazing you do need to ensure it's made with all the ingredients you're requesting as I had to add the red onions myself plus a few other veggies. Also I would like to add that the Blaze Pizza at the Saint John's Town Center definitely has the added bonuses! So if you just need a grab and go, this is good enough. If you want the works plus the awesome food... drive to the other outdoor mall in jax. ‍

    White top!
    Rose H.

Such a great concept for quick fire single sized pizzas! I love the different options and how thin the crust is! My favorite is the white top customized with extra garlic, and fresh mozzarella! The cookies are super delicious. I would skip the garlic knots. They have something for everyone! Fast, friendly & everything is customizable! Best to eat in as they cool down quickly and taste best fresh and hot

Unfortunately, I'm not in the area that much, and only once did I make the journey just to come here. What is the draw, you may ask? Great beer, great food, great atmosphere, great vibes! , That said, every meal I have had here has been delicious. The beer is pretty darn good & cold too! Of course, with the long drive...ya gotta limit it. But it's worth it for anything on the menu. I don't know where to start food-wise, I am trying to eat my way around the menu. The gator tail and fish dip are two of my favorites for small bites/appetizers. The Elk burger, the Taphouse burger, and the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich are always amazing....and then there's the cole slaw...yummy! Delicious food, and they have more than just sandwiches. The menu offers a little something different. The atmosphere and vibe are always inviting, and the staff is super friendly. The prices are fair, portions are ample, and there is plenty of parking. The decor is fun too! Not to mention, they give a veteran discount with proof of ID. What more can you ask for? Well, I know what I can ask for! To the owners: pretty please, with sugar on top, consider opening a location in St. Augustine. Not in the downtown area, but the folks north of town need something; they need you! Around the Palencia & Kensington area, off US 1 to be exact...or anywhere nearby in that area. The folks there would love something they can walk to, ride bikes to, maybe even use a golf cart to get to...and yes, a short drive is good too. Jus' sayin'! Please just check it out...I said pretty please!

They had mentioned seeing some good Yelp reviews, and the menu looked intriguing. I had already had breakfast at a great locally owned place, so my appetite was smaller. What We Ordered: - Oyster Po Boy: my boyfriend and his momma split this, and they both said it was okay though they HATED the gumbo. Very unfortunate as when splitting they had to pay for an additional portion of it. - Blackened Mahi Sandwich: this was recommended by our waitress who started out fantastic, but ultimately disappeared after food delivered so I went without a drink for quite some time. I did eat enough a portion of mine before running out of coke, so I had to pause eating as I need a liquid as I eat. I had split this with my boyfriend, so he enjoyed his fully warm. Mine was good for those first few bites, and really enjoyed the fries. They remind me of the filmstrip fries you can get in Disney's California Adventure. - Coke + Lime: if the machine is calibrated, this is always a win for me! It definitely made a travel day better. Sadly, between the waitress being inattentive after the food was delivered and there being quite the unsavory show being played, this was a miss for me. Who plays Steve Wilkos in a restaurant? It's the modern day Jerry Springer show. I just find that baffling to be quite honest, though we did get a chuckle at it while I waiting desperately for a refill so I could eat the remaining portion of my meal.

When we first walked in, we stood at the counter for about 5-7 minutes without being acknowledged. I understand the manager (white woman, glasses, sun&wave tattoo on her right forearm) was counting money, but there were two registers open and several employees walking back and forth. Instead of simply greeting us or letting us know someone would be with us shortly, they just kept looking at us without saying anything, which made us feel pretty uncomfortable. When our food came out, half of my sandwich was missing the buffalo sauce I specifically asked for, so it wasn't made consistently. What really stood out, though, was what happened next. As soon as a firefighter, a police sergeant, and a police chief walked in, the manager (same woman) immediately jumped on the register and became much more enthusiastic and attentive, asking how they could help right away. It was hard not to notice the difference in how they were treated compared to how we were. I don't expect perfection, but I do expect every customer to be acknowledged and treated with the same level of courtesy. Hopefully this was just an off day, because the service definitely needs improvement.
