Did an order for takeout. 2 surf n turf burritos and blues rolled tacos. Legit after picking it up, I drove home and the food was COLD. I paid 60 dollars for cold food. I had to reheat the food and it wasn't the same anymore. I've come before in the past here and they always make it so delicious but not today. I'm genuinely pissed off that the food was cold. 60 fucking dollars for cold disgusting food. read more

We're just..not fans. We ordered the queso carnitas tacos and the campechana burrito with a blue horchata. My boyfriend stabbed his mouth on the first bite of his taco on an inch long piece of bone, and only ate one of his tacos. I ate about half my burrito, which was very mid. It felt like there was a lot of cold components in the burrito, (guac, sour cream and cheese) so it felt like the burrito was like-warm. We only finished half our food and we unfortunately threw away the rest, as much as we hate wasting food, we just knew we would not be eating this later at home:( To top it off, the blue horchata was SO SWEET I almost choked as I drank it because my throat burned with how sweet it was. I always drive past this place and finally decided to try it... I got the carne asada burrito and it was so delicious and loaded of goodness! My bf got the surf and turf nachos and they were also very tasty! The portions are a decent size and definitely filling! But the star was this blue horchata shake... SO FREAKING BOMB! Cool place pretty close to the beach. They got a very easy and nice menu and they serve breakfast burritos all day. I went for the chorizo breakfast burrito combo. Quick service and nice personnel. I have been wanting to go for a long time and finally did. Next time I want to try the California burritos as well. The place is very busy during lunch which is a good sign. This is really close to CSULB so for lunch my friend and I decided to try this place out. It's located on the corner in between an optometry shop and a Target and parking is fairly easy to find. They have burritos, fries, and shakes. I didn't try any of those and went for the taquitos and tacos; my friend went for their Asada Salad. Their tacos are about $4 each and aren't those small street tacos. It's literally meat, some cilantro and onions, a wedge of lime, and a small spoon's worth of guac on top. You can get free salsa on the side (I got the red and it wasn't very spicy). I thought the flavor of the chicken was good, not overly salty, but for $4, I don't know if I'd get this again. I also got their taquitos, which were three for about $8. There are lots of tomatoes, cheese, lettuce, and onions on top with a layer of sour cream - However, the flavor of the meat didn't shine through. I wouldn't get this again, it was too bland for $8. There is a kiosk inside if the cashier is too busy, but otherwise service was friendly. The restaurant looks small, but it's pretty deep - with lots of eating places towards the back and some seating outside. read more

Fourth of July, my kiddo and I both had to work. No time for bbq or hot dogs for us. Once off work, we just wanted to grab a bite. First thought was Hawaiian BBQ, so drove over to the stores off PCH and Bellflower. That place was closed, so was the Tea place. Only thing open was Blue Burro, so we thought... never been, why not try it. We were pleasantly surprised with our stumble-upon. I ordered a surf n turf quesadilla and my son got a breakfast burrito. Both were fresh and absolutely delicious. Portions were large! I made two meals out of mine. We got our food to go, but the restaurant was cute, inviting and clean. Special shout out to the girl who took our order, Karen. Super nice and helpful. Here everyone else was partying on the beach. But she seemed genuinely happy to be there, on a holiday. I also noticed another worker was on break, or just finished work, and had just sit down to enjoy a snack. I'm always thrilled to see a worker eating their own food. This was my first time ordering here after having their taquitos at a party. One of the staff, Marielle, made the suggestion of the new crunchy shredded beef tacos. I ordered two with green salsa on the side. The tacos come topped with romaine lettuce, shredded cheese and cotija cheese. The outer shell is very crunchy, I was worried it would get soggy but it held it up well. The lettuce was fresh, and the cotija cheese is a nice touch. The green salsa is not spicy at all and adds great flavor. They are a little small, just a little larger than a street taco. read more

I've never had a more overcooked piece of fish in my life. When the server asked how our food was I informed her the food was extremely overcooked. She didn't seem to care and there was no offer to find some kind of solution. I wasn't expecting a comped dish or anything special, but a little acknowledgement would have been appreciated.
