Love the convenient drive thru option! Something you don't normally see for boba tea places. The orange-grapefruit iced green tea is very delicious and had actual orange slices. Definitely on the sweeter side so be sure to adjust sweetness level prior. Another thing that stood out to me was the great customer service. The young girl at the drive thru was very peppy and kind. She was willing to adjust the sweetness in case I needed them to. The popcorn chicken and fry portions are generous and fair in price. It does get fairly busy in the evenings so it might be a wait if you choose the drive thru or you may park in the back and walk in. read more

I decided to try this place out today after seeing it on tik tok a while ago. I remember reading mixed comments on the video prior to coming here. Some said that it's pretty good, while some complained that the drinks were overpriced and mediocre. I always see long lines out to the streets while driving past Baldwin. I chose to come today to try it out for myself. Here is my take on the store: DRINKS: I only ordered two drinks, messy brown sugar boba and brown sugar milk tea. The messy brown sugar looked nice, but the taste was plain. Tasted nothing special in the drink. I expected the mess to have a creme brûlée or some sort of milky flavoring on top because that's how they make it at other shops. I was only able to taste the milk and boba. The brown sugar was like any basic milk tea at other boba shops. I don't hate it, just saying that it doesn't do the wow factor for me. FOODS: I didn't order anything so I can't tell me you my experience on that. However, I did try ordering the fried fish balls, but they were sold out. PRICE: I paid $5.65 without tax for the messy brown sugar and an extra $0.88 to have it upgraded to a large. $7 for a drink is VERY expensive. That's about the price for 2-3 drinks in other stores. The brown sugar milk tea was $4.95 at an average pricing for boba shops these days . All my drinks had already come with boba, but if not then I would have simply left. Overall, it's a cute shop. There's an outdoor seating area where you could hangout with friends. I don't recommend sitting there because I got bit 4 bite within the span of 15 minutes. While the outside doesn't seem as important, it's still part of the store's entry, and it should be inviting and comfortable for customers especially whenever everything is outdoors during the pandemic. Personally, I don't think their drinks are worth paying that much for. There is a half and half next door which charges way less. I won't be coming back here. Overpriced and mediocre. read more

Came here to try out their drinks since I always see a long line for their drive thru! The drive thru was pretty neat since not a lot of boba places have it so it was pretty cool but the line when I went was pretty long and the wait was a while too. When we were next, we ordered the grapefruit and orange tea as well as the extra spicy popcorn chicken. The drink came out fast but they had us park at their parking lot in the back to wait for our popcorn chicken. The grapefruit orange tea wasn't bad. When I first took a sip, you can taste the grapefruit first then the orange, and then finally the bitterness of the grapefruit. The popcorn chicken though was pretty bomb! It was juicy flavorful AND crispy as well and what made it even better was their sauce! We thought the sauce was like some sort of ranch at first but once we tried it, it was like cream! We come here every now and then.... for convenience because of the babies, it's a cool drive thru!! Why not?! But the guy who took our order.. sigh. Told us they ran out of Thai tea, so we settled for milk tea, that somehow tasted like coffee. I've had Boba Avenue (located in San Gabriel) so I figured this place would be just as good. Well.. I was wrong. Walked in with my bf and as we were ordering we saw a spider crawling down (right next to the guy taking our order) I freaked out a little bit then my bf killed it with one of the menus. I don't give ratings a lot but when I heard about the things at boba ave and how its made and just even thinking about it with me going there a lot of times before it just got me so disgusted. First of all the actions that they take to get good rating by giving customers free fries just for a 5 star rating is just so not it, shouldn't we be able to make the discussion on whether or not to give a good rating to a restaurant? I feel so offended by this action ... and also I've heard from many of my friend that use to work at boba ave and that this place is so disgusting. The workers there would split into the cup when ever they are pissed off by the customers there. And that if flys or any other small flying creatures flys into the teas that they use to make boba they would just keep using the tea.
