After being on the road all day from Buffalo, New York, my fiancé and I we quite hungry; we found Bobby Byrne's on Yelp and figured we'd give it a whirl for some late night eats. We were not disappointed; first, the menu provided many options (something to catch any diner's eye). They even had a variety of vegetarian dishes, which was perfect for my significant other! We shared the SOFT PRETZEL STICKS to start, accompanied by a delicious spicy jalapeño cream cheese dip. I also tried the CHEF'S SOUP OF THE DAY, which was a tasty, hearty and creamy HADDOCK CHOWDER. As for entrees, my fiancé ordered the SOUTHWESTERN VEGGIE BURGER and substituted a side of QUINOA instead of fries; she was pleasantly delighted with her dish. Myself . . . I went with the CAPE COD REUBEN and was glad I did! It was full of flavor and over-the-top filling; a bit messy but totally worth it! I have only been to this location. Love it, and the food! Great waitstaff and bartenders. I love the Reuben's. They are the BEST anywhere on the Cape. I have been there approx five-six times. I have eaten in, and gotten take out. The guests are always friendly, and they have a regular following. The prices are extremely reasonable, with portion sizes ample enough to last me-two meals. They have decadent desserts, as well! Keep it up! Great place, and one of my favorites! read more

Great prime rib tonight with spicy fries. My wife had the blue cheese burger that tasted very good. It was a little slow but enjoyed the atmosphere in the bar with fireplace and both the Celtics and Bruins were in. Highly recommended. read more

Took my girl and her two daughters out for a birthday dinner. Two out of four meals were raw chicken!! I still feel upset about the food and the response of the staff. I have gone to Bobby Byrnes many times and that's why I chose to have such a special dinner there. I would have liked a better outcome to such a sickening situation. Been a customer for a long time. Very sad that it would take 3 tries at making a bacon cheeseburger with barely a dozen people in the restaurant. Evidently, something has really gone wrong. 1st took over 40 minutes to come out, cold, 2nd didn't even make it out of kitchen, evidently overcooked. 3rd came out almost raw cold and missing the bacon. ha. This place is one of our favorites. Their clam chowder is some of the best on Cape. The prices are very reasonable, and the food is consistently good. If I had a rant, the waitresses can be a little non attentive at times. But overall this is a great place to eat late or on a date or with your family. Food is fresh and made to order. Steak tips, sandwiches and mac and cheese are all really good. My daughter loves the French Onion soup.. I recommend this place. We go often. read more

If you have teeth you may not like this place. Truly tried to give this place a chance 4 or 5 times. We are locals, but not local enough for this place. Bar staff is stiff unless they know you. Again, drinks are probably rationed on how well they know you. We had a martini that was about 1.5 oz and was $10. Food we had was decent. Staff was slow getting to us. I truly love coming to this restaurant! It has a really fun pub atmosphere and you can play Keno while you eat! Nestled in a run down strip mall it doesn't' look like much more than a dive bar from outside. That couldn't be further from the truth! I usually dine with my mother and aunt for lunch here once a week and they are really accommodating. As I have stated in previous reviews my mother and I love to split meals. Usually we will order one or two things and share with each other so we can taste more of a menu. At Bobby Byrne's they go above and beyond with this request to the point where they actually give us two plates of each item. It is a small gesture but it makes everything so much easier for us and really shows us the care they have for their customers. Not only is the service great the food is phenomenal! They have these amazing hot dinner rolls you can request with your meal and they are drool worthy. The menu is vast but that doesn't mean they skimp on quality. Everything I have ordered there is always fresh, hot (or in the case of salads cold and crisp) and really flavorful.There really is something for everyone! They also always have some really great offers on the specials menu (and a buy one get one coupon in the "hometown" mailer ) and the soups are fresh and tasty! read more

Not only is the food amazing... Try the fried chicken sandwich. The service is top notch!!! We actually ordered a lunch for eight people at the wrong location and they didn't charge to make it at the location we went to. Hard to beat service like that. I LOVE BOBBY BYRNES! I've eaten here a million times over 15 years so I definitely give them 5 stars! Where to start?... Great atmosphere, plenty of TVs with different games on, and Keno! The people who work there are awesome especially behind the bar. The food is delicious and the kitchen stays open late (huge plus). They update their menus often and always have great specials. App, salads, soup, chowder, burgers, dinners everything is top notch! I recommend their mix grill, steak tips, ot texas chipotle burger. Sooo good! Absolute WORST bar service I've ever had! Mother's Day weekend and my birthday and my boyfriend and I went to have a small lunch and play some keno. You couldn't find two less attentive bartenders if you tried. Bartender walked by my empty glass at least 4 times and never asked if I wanted another. People nearby all had to ask for their next round, to play keno, to pay their bill, etc. We had to ask to place our order and when it arrived we weren't asked if we needed anything else. My boyfriend had fries but no ketchup so instead of asking for it, he didn't eat them. Not once were we asked if everything was alright. I know people are entitled to a bad day, but as a former server and bartender, service 101 is leave your crap at the door and put on a happy face. Sad thing is, we are exceptional tippers and didn't even leave 20%! Definitely won't be back, and we are local! read more

Great Pub - long bar, tin ceilings and friendly waitstaff. The seafood (especially the fish) is incredible. As for salads, they are heaping. Prices are reasonable - not all tables are in the bar area - nice dining room and large screen tv. Good for families and friends. Scrummy! read more

Bobby Byrnes Clam Chowder is my absolute favorite clam chowder. It is smooth, creamy and super flavorful. Bobby Byrnes also serves up a great burger. I have never had a bad meal at Bobby Byrnes. The Hyannis location seems more bar like than the other locations. I enjoy the Sandwich location because it has more of a light and bright restaurant feel. read more

This review is for Bobby Byrnes in Mashpee Commons. I have always said "I have never had a bad meal at Bobby Byrnes" I have to add that I had never ordered a pasta dish until last Friday night, and it was pretty awful. I had the shrimp and scallop piccata over linguine and the pasta was so overcooked that it was gummy, and the shrimp and scallops were downright bland. I knew I should have gone with the fish tacos so I guess I deserved to get what I got. Everyone else in the party was happy with prime rib, lobster mac and cheese and chicken pot pie, and I have to admit that it was pleasant sitting outside. Go to Siena for pasta, get fish or comfort food at Bobby's. I told the waitress to take my food it was totally overcooked and she brought it back to me in Styrofoam, and I said I will not be taking it home please dispose of it. She offered to get me something else, but everyone else was close to being done with dinner, so I did not want to hold them up.
