I always have to treat myself to Bo's after a clean Cardiology appt. I love this Bojangles location which is usually the go to one closest to me. Cajun Filet biscuit, steak egg and cheese and of course .. seasoned fries. It was fresh as always with the super yummy biscuits. The fries were under cooked this time, but the air fryer will fix that. That's why I gave a 4 star review instead of a 5 5tar. The friendliness of the staff seems to have decreased here as well. I didn't recognize anyone. It took a lot of effort to get some extra seasoning and a container of Bo Special sauce. read more

They & every other location in Raleigh keep their hours listed as 11 or 10pm with all their lights on, drive through screen lit up, & employees inside but we've tried to go 3 times now over an hour before closing (once 2 hours before) & they refuse to serve us every time. Even when you ask through the speaker if they are open they just blatantly ignore you. First time an employee was taking the trash out & saw us waiting there trying to ask if they were open - he ignores us & walks back into the store, which made us think even more that they were open. This isn't the only location to do this - it's happened all three times since each time we've tried multiple locations. Look I get it, fast food workers are treated like shit & I'm glad they are finally demanding better treatment & higher pay. I firmly stand with them on that, but the thing that I'm not cool with is nobody at these multiple locations updating the hours & leaving all the lights on & just ignoring customers who come by during their open hours. Just turn the lights off? Update your hours? Take 2 min for management to create some form of social media for their location & take the 30 seconds each day to say "hey we're closing 3 hours early, sorry". We have wasted so much time & gas (& therefore money) going to all these locations during their open hours only to be ignored. It's not okay. read more

Went through the drive thru this morning for breakfast and realized I forgot my debit card. Luckily they do take Apple Pay! Easy and quick ordering. I ordered a 12 piece Supreme Tailgate and promptly went home for lunch. 1. Shocked by the higher than expected price. 2. Got home and identified not a single sauce was put in the bag. Refer back to 1, for that price I should certainly get some sauce. Back in the truck we go back to Bojangles to get some sauce. 3. After the frustration I finally got to sit down to eat and the fries were so incredibly over seasoned they were inedible. Couldn't even begin to imagine the amount of sodium. I like salty foods and I'm telling you they were inedible. 3 strikes on 1 trip doubt I will be back. Had to literally wash the fries, soak them in cold water, and refry them so I didn't waste them because if I made another return to the store my lunch would have been ruined, the chicken no longer warm, and it would of been a completely different scene. Just hit our neighborhood Bo tonight, the Falls location. Normally on point but this evening a bit far from it. We ordered an additional large side of slaw. Let's say it looked to be a regift as it was only half full and looked to have been dug into already. Really? At the window we added some extra biscuits which did not find their way into the bag as well. The biscuits? Ok, perhaps confusion at the window maybe but a half full container of slaw that looked to be partially consumed? C'mon. My recommendation? Get control of the kids guys. read more

The lady in the drive through rang in a "bo sized" meal without telling me, she told me my total was the regular sized total, but I was charged and had a receipt for Bo size. Another time I ordered 2 chicken sandwich meals, 1 with rounds one with fries and received both with fries after asking the attendant to make sure it was one of each. read more

Pretty disappointing experience, considering I've been in Raleigh for three months now & this is my first time having my beloved Bojangles'. For starters, the drive-thru speaker was horrible. I could barely understand the employee taking my order. Also, she had a very heavy accent, which didn't help matters. I ordered a steak biscuit combo with sweet tea & potato rounds. I get to the window & the same employee wasn't very friendly. She took my card, swiped it & gave me my order. I don't typically check my bags when I leave the drive-thru, but I wished I had. I got back on the highway & realized she gave me a chicken fillet biscuit combo. How does "steak biscuit" sound like "chicken fillet"? I was very sad. But I was not in the mood to turn around & go through the order again. The potato rounds & tea were delicious. The biscuit was amazing. The chicken, not so much. They're the closest one to my house, so I want to give them another shot. Hopefully my next visit will be better. read more

We were discriminated upon walking into the restaurant because of our skin color. Our order was completely wrong, my friend had asked for no Mayo on his grilled chicken sandwich and went up to tell them the order was wrong. They gave him a huge attitude and we never got a new sandwich because they never mad it for us. I never received my drink I had to go back up and ask for it and they gave me an attitude for that as well. We will not be coming back to this particular location based solely on us being discriminated by the color of our skin. read more

They had such a busy line I didn't want to bother them, Jackie j was kind enough to bring water to my table for me. She's the best and gave the best customer service. I'll give them a three star because I've gone to this location for over twenty years and it's usually fine. The last several years the service has gone downhill with messing up the orders and bad food quality. I would suggest checking your order before you leave because the last three times mine has either been wrong or there was a forgotten item. So I've been hearing about this place for a few months now from my girl who is a Raleigh native. I finally had the chance to try them out on a recent trip down from Indianapolis and I have to say it was worth the wait. Why there are not any closer to me is truly something I regret. I ordered the three piece meal with seasoned fries. there were no further questions. I was delighted to find out that the sweet tea is assumed. The chicken was crisp and hot. The biscuit was just right, even without the butter and jelly I normally use. I would have liked a bit less sugar in the tea but that may be because up here in Indy we dont serve sweet tea. At least not in any of the places I frequent. All said I am a fan. I felt bad leaving my dirty stuff on the table for someone to come and clean up for me, I think next time I'll leave a couple bucks on the tray. read more

This was my first visit to a Bojangles. Being from San Diego, I asked around as to what I needed to try. A buddy of mine who grew up in NC told me I needed to stop here. And I'm glad I did. Now don't get me wrong, Bojangles' food is not earth shatteringly good. But it slowly creeps up on you until you don't realize that you're now addicted and have sweet tea and chicken grease running through your veins. I especially enjoyed the biscuits. I could eat those all day. As for customer service it wasn't bad. In fact, they were all very friendly. The manager even came out to apologize for a 5 minute wait for chicken. Great place with very sweet staff! The staff here are very nice, and I can only recall one bad experience with the staff. I often go here in the morning on my way to work if I don't have time for breakfast, and the food is always fresh! One staff member always greets me and is very sweet, she also has memorized my name! The food is always delicious, and I have NEVER had any problems with them not including all my food. The only reason I have to give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the wait. While I know the staff can't help if they are busy, they do not always handle it well. I once waited 15 minutes for food while people behind me in my line were getting their food. The food at this Bojangles is comparable to any other Bojangles, but a word of warning, double-check your food order if you go through the drive-thru. I don't know if they start the newer employees at the drive-thru window or what, but they are prone to mix-ups. Sometimes it's something as simple as forgetting to give you straws for your drinks, but sometimes you will be missing entire parts of your order (most recently I was given 1 sausage biscuit rather than 2 AND short an order of fries). Also, don't even bother requesting extra seasoning on your fries. Out of every Bo's I've ever been to, this place just doesn't believe in putting cajun seasoning on their fries at all, even if you request it. So bland and sad! read more

Mmmmmm...Bojangles! I love this place. Whenever I take a trip to the south, it's my tradition to stop at the first Bojangles I pass by to celebrate that I have really arrived in the south. However, on my trip to Raleigh this week, I arrived in the south too late for any Bojangles to be open, so I had to settle for coming to this one in the morning. This location happens to be the first Bojangles I ever went to, so it will always have a special place in my heart. The buttermilk biscuit is just okay; it would be better with butter, but they don't have real butter, so minus one star for that. Tried Bojangles recently and had a 2-piece chicken dinner. Personally, I still prefer KFC's original recipe. Bojangles' recipe is more comparable to Popeye's given the extra crunchy batter on the skin. The seasoning was actually pretty good, with an underlying hint of hot sauce. The meat was not tough, but not fall of the bone tender either. My main complaint about the chicken is the overwhelming grease. Yes, I'm fully aware it's fried chicken we're talking about, but the oil could be drained better after the chicken has been taken out of the fryer. I also tried sides of "dirty rice" and "Bo rounds." It was my first time having dirty rice, which apparently is a Cajun dish traditionally made with white rice and chicken liver or giblets. I'm not sure what form of meat was used in the Bojangles' dirty rice, but it tasted pretty good. the Bo rounds were essentially gigantic flat versions of tater tots. Bojangles serves "free" sweet tea with every meal ("free", because I'm sure they incorporate the cost into the price of the meal...). Let me tell you this sweet tea has got to be loaded with as much sugar as water could possible dissolve. I felt like I was drinking syrup! Overall two words to sum up my Bojangles experience: greasy and sweet. It was all good going down, but I suppose it doesn't hurt to be nearby a working bathroom either! read more

From the Sweet Tea, down to the Biscuits, this place is GOOD! They have the best biscuits I have tasted in a while!!! The chicken was perfectly crispy, but most importantly MOIST!!! I did the drive -thru. this morning. I ordered a plan biscuit & a ham biscuit. I have no ideal what the employee said ( Horrible Speaker ) I get to the window and the guy says $2.04. I give $3.00 I have no change. Then he says "That's $4.06 . So I looked to my passenger I thought he said $2.04 she said I did too. So I gave the guy $2.00 more Now this makes $5.00. He gives me change I didn't count it. It feels like .80 or .90 cents I drop it in my arm rest. Now I get my biscuits and the receipt It says $3.06. I pulled around and went in to tell the manager. He offered me a Dollar I said no it's the point. How many people use the drive thru and don't count there change?
