Two stars for the good vibes and very nice server. The food was bad. Funny thing is, despite the low rating I gave it a try anyway because most complaints were about service not the food. Ultimately I am paying to eat so I usually disregard most service related complaints. Now...back to the food. I ordered two drinks, an appetizer, and an entree. My appetizer was burnt! I mean not caramelized, but burned to the iron skillet. The shrimp were so overcooked and the mushrooms were almost unrecognizable as they were stuck in the burnt mess. I did not complain or return this dish. Two over sweet sugar laden drinks later my fish tacos arrived. One bite in and I knew something was wrong. I took some slaw off and tried again. This resulted in me literally spitting my food out. I have NEVER spit out food at a restaurant...EVER. I cut into my fish and it was an oil soaked log of breading and very dry fish. Like the fish was fried in very old grease for 20 minutes longer after being dipped in some sort of sweet batter. It was awful. Other locations the music is on point but the waitresses explained that a manager by the name of the Rob doesn't allow "Ghetto music" bet sales are lower here then any other location after I asked to speak to Rob to let the dj play a hiphop birthday song he was very rude with his response. read more

Only gave 1 Star to comment had it been left to me they would get no stars.I came in on a Saturday night & I got there before before my group got there .The hostesses told me that they could only sit the group that was present so the two of us sat in a small booth.After waiting for 20 minutes our waiter finally addresses us and moves us to a bigger table once she understands that we have more people on the way .So as we sit at the bigger table within 3min a hostess by the name of Abigail rudely tells us that we cannot sit there not knowing that we had been moved there.so she tells us to get up from our seats and tells us to stand and points to another booth as a busboy cleans it.At this point everyone around us is watching us play musical chairs.once we get seated in the booth a manager (Rafael) escorts me and another that was with me out without explanation.We get outside & he explains to me that the hostess (Abigail) said that i called her a derogatory name. We tell the manager what actually happens and he tells us "She has no reason to lie" .The customer is always right,although no words were exchanged we never got moved into another area or had anyone speak to us in a professional manner.This establishment is chaotic,management here wants to be best friends with these ladies.As I'm outside the hostess that had us escorted out is smirking and grinning through the window at us. My husband and two of his friends, and one of their 4 year old child visited a few days ago, and the hostess and waitress asked them to leave their establishment because one of them had a tattoo on their face. My husband and his friends are all black men might I add. The workers at bombshells said either you cover up the tattoo or leave. This is pure racism, racial profiling, and racial discrimination. I have never visited a place of business and was asked to leave behind a facial tattoo. We will never visit either of their locations. #BLM read more

We were a party of 5 and all but one had something forgotten from their order. I didn't get my food until it was time to leave! Last night was my first and last time ever going to this place. I was actually excited about this new location that just opened up fairly close to me because i had never been to Bombshells before. Unfortunately this visit left a bad taste in my mouth. I do have to mention that the environment is pretty lively but just doesn't make up for the poor quality of service that you'll receive. My girlfriend and I took a seat at the bar at 1 AM. Getting the attention of a bartender named Julie. She or any of the other bartenders didn't seem to interested in helping us. I had to continuously wave down a bartender to put anything in. When we finally did get someone's attention they had made it seem like we were bothering them. The overall price point and quality of food just doesn't match the service. I definitely suggest you go a little up the road to Twin Peaks or hell even BWW. Anything is better than this. read more

Went to this location after a round of Putt Putt with the family. Got seated (quickly) and waited 15 minutes and didn't even get approached by a waitress. Meanwhile the two gentlemen sitting at the table across from us got "touched" at least 3 times during this time. Walked out and asked to speak to a manager... couldn't even get one in a timely manner to let him/her know about our terrible experience. This was at 2:30 in the afternoon. I can't imagine how long you might have to wait to even be talked to during rush hours. My wife and I are Veterans so it was extremely disappointing after we got to park right in front due to our veteran status. read more

Went on a Thursday night from around 8:45-10:15pm, and found my car being broken into, shattered glass all over the passenger side. Because the parking lot was full, I had to park behind the building. Didn't think much of it because they do have the parking lot well lit. Well that didn't matter. I did check if they have cameras, which they do, but realistically speaking, what is that gonna do? Everyone knows this location isn't in the best area, but be mindful of where you park your car, especially if it's one that will attract cowards (thieves). We visited for the first time and we almost didn't because of the reviews. I AM SO GLAD WE DID!! The customer service, waitress and food was fantastic! We ordered the bomb poppers, beers, Citadel Chicken with sweet potato fries and greens beans and the Pearl Harbor burger with onion rings- we cleaned our plates!! We were listening to the NCAA tournament game between Wisconsin and Baylor on the car radio which started at 1:30, when we decided to eat and watch the rest of the game at Bombshells. We entered the restaurant about 2:10 looking for a TV with the game. The bartender said she would tell the manager to put the game on one of the TV's. When our waitress came to the table, we asked again for the game. She said the manager said the game didn't start till 3PM. We asked again saying we were listening to the game in the car. She returned to the manager who then came to our table and shoved her phone at us saying "look at my phone, it says the game doesn't start till 3!" If I could give 0 stars, I would have. It was 6 of us. The drinks are weak ( had to send one back) the wings were horrible, the burger was ok ( the fries was good). The cups were not as clean either. The waiter came to our table only once and that was to take our orders. She was too busy congregating with her con workers. We had to basically flag down anyone just to get anything. They were not busy at all, hence the reason why is probably the nasty food and horrible services. I was hoping to have a better experience than the others that have wrote reviews about this place. Our waitress came to our table stating she was about to get off and need to close our ticket and someone else will be taking over. If I could rate this bomshells worse I would. I came Saturday night with a group of 8 and the 4 ladies at the front said it would be about an hour wait. This was fine with us so we decided to wait considering we had a birthday in the group. We knew that a lot of people were there for a ufc fight so we put our name and number on the list And decided to wait outside over an hour passed by and we get no call so we go in to see how much longer it would be and they had scratched our name completely out and we never got a phone call as they sat other people. when I asked why our name was scratched out one of the young ladies started to clack her nails on the host stand. and said they simply had too many people and they didn't have any space meanwhile there were plenty of open tables even if it had to be outside. so we didn't even get to eat by the time we tried to find something else everything was starting to close. i Hope you guys get better servers who actually enjoy their jobs no matter if it's a group of men or women. read more

August 5th was my brother's birthday and out of all the places he could've went to, he chose Bombshells 59. I showed up before him and was seated on the patio. I believe the server's name was Amber. She was soft spoken and kept fidgeting with her mask and nose ring. The birthday boy showed up with his birthday crew, amongst them was my other brother that have face tattoos. I ordered food and drinks but my brother with the face tattoos wasn't allowed entrance cause his face tattoos. Being as literal as possible, he was discriminated against based on the color of his skin. They referred to him as a gang member due to him wearing a tee shirt and having face tattoos. One interesting detail was i also had on a tee shirt, but i don't have face tattoos. In some realms, face tattoos and face piercings are looked at as equal and equally frowned upon. There was nothing posted that stated, "If a person has face tattoos, s/he will be prohibited from entering the establishment." I called and spoke with George, who is a manager, and he informed me that it was just "company policy". The thing is there was nothing posted online nor around the restaurant. Also, my brother has been to the bombshells in Pearland and the one off 45S and there wasn't an issue with his face tattoos. The conversation continued and he kept telling me that the policy is in the handbook, but I'm confused because I didn't know there was a such thing as a customer's handbook. The question was asked if Lil Wayne arrived, would he be denied as well. He said no and that's a different situation, but it isn't because Lil Wayne brags about being a gang member, while my brother is not a gang member. He was just profiled based on the pigment in his skin. He likes art and his body is his canvas. His tattoos, generally, aren't viewed as obscene or offensive. Instead of giving the people in attendance a show, we left cause we know that businesses have the right to refuse service to anyone. Besides if the cops would have been called, there was no guarantee we'd leave with our lives. In the end, we took our business to Twin Peaks on Lomitas, where the service was great. There was $5 Long Island and Skyler was amazing. Plus, their wings were pretty good too. I'll definitely visit that Twin Peaks again. read more

I come here because the waitresses are very friendly, polite, and provide excellent service.  However, there food is terrible!  Every time I eat there, I get sick....I don't know what the deal is over there.  So instead I decide to purchase there drinks and tip the waitresses handsomely.  I like staying long hours to watch the ball game.  The other day I was hungry so I decide to purchase food from a third party delivery service.  It came delivered. I am in the middle of my dinner and the manager and some other dude ganged up on me and said "you better eat that in your car"  I told them I did not have a car, because I found alternative transportation.  then they said, "you better then eat it outside in the street"  I asked if I could at least finish my meal, because I was in the middle of it, and they said "NO!"  I then ripped up their tickets into tiny little pieces, paid the balance of the tab in cash and I immediately left.  I believe the Houston Health Department needs to go in and do an immediate investigation here on the food quality issue.  Stay away from this place! read more
