We dined with another couple on a Friday evening and we were underwhelmed to say the least. After we were seated it took a while for the waiter (Dillon) to take our drink order. Once he took our drink order, he did a good job explaining the specials. Then he returned ready to take our food order and we asked him about our drinks, which he went into the jokester role. He said chuckling that they weren't ready yet, then he wanted to take our food order. We asked for our drinks first and he went back into the jokester role and said I'm sure the guys behind the bar are working on them. What the heck, why can't we at least get served our drinks before ordering??? Once we were served the drinks, I must say the special martinis were good, so I'll give them that one. Onto our dinner, the Caesar salad was dry, very little dressing and they included a number of annoying hard lettuce cores that one cannot eat so you have to pick around them. The risotto was not prepared like a typical risotto as it was too mushy and had an abundance of red chile flakes, so much that I we could not eat it. The waiter asked if he could bring me something else so I opted for the mashed potatoes however, he forgot. The sea bass was delicious so there was some upside. Then I ordered a glass of Chardonnay and again, Dillon forgot it. In fact, Dillon was spending more time joking around than simply focusing on our needs. Then when we received the check, Dillon once again forgot about crediting the risotto. It's a shame that this restaurant is so average when it's in a great location and can be so much better than it is. It has pretty good ambiance however, the service is mediocre at best. Again, this place could be so much more with some adjustments. With all of the great restaurants in Summerlin, it will be a while before we try this one again. read more

Bonefish grill was the site for a presentation and a networking event. Thou I have eaten at Bonefish before, this was the first time ever attending a private event here and I was extremely impressed with the service and care the Bonefish team took. Our PMI chapter hosted a work group here and then a dinner presentation were we had over 30 people. My suggestion is anything above 40 people may be tight. The food was really good as expected for Bonefish grill. There are packages with different price points. By far the service was the biggest impression on me. From making sure the audio/visual was set up to the wait staff taking care of the attendees, the service was seamless. The room felt very modern and everything worked really well and was nicer than some of the casino meeting rooms. My mom and aunt first visited Bonefish Grill when they were on vacation a couple of years ago, I believe, in Georgia. When they found out there was a Las Vegas location, they were thrilled, and have been raving about it ever since. Well, last night, we were celebrating a couple of pretty amazing health victories in my family, and my mom wanted to take us all out to dinner at Bonefish Grill. We made a reservation, and arrived about 15 minutes early. We were greeted warmly, and told that our table was ready. Within minutes, we had bread with an herb olive oil dipping sauce. Our server, Karissa (Carissa?) was lovely. She explained the concept of the restaurant, and that all of their fish is fresh and inspected by management every day. She joked with us throughout the night, and checked up on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. Service really makes or breaks a visit for me. The food was wonderful, but it was the incredible service that we received from start to finish that impressed me. Our server, the food runners, and we had an interaction with a manager that was so pleasant. Seriously top notch service here. Now, the food. Well, ok, let me back up to the drinks first!! THEY HAVE A WATERMELON MARTINI. Who doesn't love watermelon? I was debating all day about the watermelon martini, and a nice malbec with dinner...but I ended up choosing the watermelon martini. I can have wine any time I want. I am SO glad I chose this drink!! Hand-muddled watermelon, house-infused English cucumber and Fris vodka infusion, fresh sour, garnished with frozen watermelon cubes, this was the PERFECT summer drink. Light. Refreshing. Satisfying. I had two. I'm making it my mission in life to try to recreate this at home since Bonefish is a little far for me to drive to every day. Happy hour is from 4-6:30, and offers great discounts on drinks. Ok, now the moment you've been waiting for: The food. Appetizers: Bang Bang Shrimp: lightly breaded, covered in a spicy, amazing sauce, these shrimp were cooked to perfection, and SO good. My mouth was on fire in the best way. Maryland crab cakes: Delicious. Lump crab meat in two yummy cakes with a red remoulade sauce: Really really good. The cakes weren't pretty, as they fell apart quite a bit, but the taste was great. Ahi tuna sashimi: sesame crusted ahi tuna served with wasabi, sriracha, and pickled ginger: in a word...YUM. The tuna was seared to a perfect rare, and was absolutely delicious. Dinners: I had the special: Cod picatta with LOBSTER STUFFED SHRIMP. This was lovely. The cod was delicate, with an ever so light coating of breading and capers. A light, delicious cut of fish. The lobster stuffed shrimp...it was like a dream. Decadent. Delicious, and the shrimp were cooked PERFECTLY. My favorite of the night. My husband had an 18 oz bone in rib-eye that was seasoned beautifully. It was a little on the rare side (ordered mid-rare), but was delicious. His only complaint was that there really was an AWFUL lot of fat on the steak, but he was satisfied. The bite I had was great. My mom had the grilled sea bass. I had debated ordering this myself. She let me taste it, and it was absolutely wonderful. I'll be ordering this next time for sure. Sides: White truffle mac n cheese: this was good! I'm a mac n cheese snob, so I had to try this, and it did not disappoint. I was too full to eat more than a few bites, but we took it home so I can heat it up for dinner tonight! Sauteed spinach: the only major disappointment of the night for me. The spinach was bland. There was no seasoning at all. Not a fan. I'll probably opt for green beans next time instead. (I didn't try the other sides at the table, I was too full.) All in all, this was an exceptional experience. Impeccable service, delightful food, and wonderful, refreshing drinks made our celebration last night a little more savory. I have every intention of returning to try out other dishes on the menu. The Bang Bang Shrimp is the best item on the menu. You cannot skip it! We brought out daughter & her Homecoming date for dinner & sat separately from them. The one thing hunny asked was that we get their check so they didn't have to worry about money. We asked the hostess and our waitress and they still didn't get it right. The cocktail was ok. I got to try out Bonefish Grill recently in Vegas because of a gift certificate. It was my first time ever to visit Bonefish Grill and learned that everything they grill is on a Oak wood grill. Overall the menu is pretty healthy. For most of the entrees you choose your protein and two sides. I chose to get Lily's Chicken which comes with grilled chicken topped with goat cheese, spinach, artichoke hearts and lemon basil sauce. For my sides, I got mashed potatoes and spinach. Overall the meal was ok. The addition of the goat cheese gave a unique flavoring to the chicken as well as the addition of the artichoke hearts. I couldn't really taste the lemon basil sauce. It really was healthy meal with decent portions. Atmosphere wise this restaurant had dim lighting, was quiet and intimate. It was didn't have a Vegas like feel at all which I found to be nice. we arrived to a very quiet restaurant around 3:20 on Labor Day. There were about 4 people at the bar and 2 ladies in a booth. Looked like they had a bigger party outside. Great. We walk in and the young lady asks us to wait a moment. She looked as if she were finishing something up. No problem. 2 minutes, 3 minutes. She asked someone to set up a table. They mustve said they were busy because she said fine Ill do it. A couple comes in w their 2 kids...she says Ill be right with you. Now it's 5 minutes. She's scrambling to put bread plates and silverware on the table. I'd hate to see what it's like when it gets busy. Small quaint place. Was our first time here and E wanted to try the Chilean Seabass. Our server takes our drink order. I ordered a coke, E orders a cocktail and ginger ale. He says ok and I'll bring you bread. 5 minutes go by, he brings me my coke. That's it. Says Ill be back. 5 minutes go by, he brinks back Eds cocktail, no ginger ale, no bread. Another several minutes go by....uhhhhh ok again, I would hate to see the service when busy and thank goodness we ordered our food in the beginning bc that wouldve been another 15 minutes. Lots of good deals here at the upscale-y seafood chain: happy hour includes food (only in the bar area) and drink specials (restaurant - wide); "Hooked on Tuesday" is their 3-course combo on you guessed it, Tuesdays; and if you sign up for their member rewards it's 50%off every 4th visit. They're known for the delicious Bang Bang Shrimp so def order that. Also known as the hotspot for the silver-haired crowd during said happy hour. So if you're of mature age and looking to mingle, this is definitely the spot. This had the worst Crab Leg dinner ever. We were put in the bar section and it took 15 minutes for the bartender to acknowledge us. We were ready to walk out just as he finally showed up. We wanted to leave and for 15 to 20 minutes we could not find him to get us our bill. He finally sent someone over with a bill. The person who brought it said sign here and take a copy with you. I thought about it, but found the bartender again and showed him that the the person he sent over with the bill had not even run my credit card & they would never get paid if they did not do that first. As far as the food, the Crab Legs were not properly prepared to be served. Even in the days of the casino buffets they at least would make some cuts in the shells so that you could remove the meat. That was not the case at Bonefish. Not only did they not cut them nor did they gave me a aerated knife so that I could cut them myself. Before I was a third of the way done, the legs were cold along with the very small (inadequate) portion of drawn butter was cold and the shells were so soggy that the device they gave me to crack them would no longer break the shells. We have been members of the frequent customer program for years, but probably will never go back. Going out to eat is so expensive these days that to get poor service & poor food really hurts. read more

The mains then included Steak & Lobster Eggs Benedict, Rainbow Trout, Pork Chops & Shrimp, Shrimp and Grits, and their Wolffish Special. All were prepared perfectly and we had no complaints. Hubby and I recently celebrated a milestone anniversary and decided to make a visit for some famous Bang Bang Shrimp at this Bonefish Grill. As usual, it was excellent and our dinner lived up to our expectations. The seabass was out of this world and the veggies are always cooked perfectly. The staff was attentive, very friendly and professional. I'm so happy to be able to "walk" to this neighborhood gem so we can't be pulled over by our very respected Las Vegas Metro PD for DUI! So let's start with portions , I ordered a pork chop & I never seen a pork chop cut so thin & overcooked it was disgusting. My wife's fish was tasteless and paper thin, my guest portion was maybe only 3 ounces? Very small portion, deserts terrible as carrot was not a piece of cake but a small fluffy ball of carrot cake with no icing just a cream in the middle & very sweet, we couldn't even eat. They are using smoke & mirrors acting as a high end restaurant with lower prices, shame on them as I spent over $240 for a disgusting dinner. I would have paid $340 for a decent meal instead of wasting $240 & leaving disappointed. My wife & I are fine diners & love eating out , very disappointed, shame on them. read more
