We visited Bonjour on a downtown walking food tour. The food, vibe, and service were all awesome. Maybe the best part is the story about the owner. I can't wait to get back and try a lunch or dinner here

French toast

My friend and I ate lunch here due to us seeing all the positive reviews. The food and service was great. Very cute unique atmosphere. Would definitely come back to try other items on the menu. The French toast was definitely on point!! The only thing I would not recommend getting is their mimosas, both my friend and I were very disappointed in the drink. Overall, would come back again!!

Bacon and mushroom crepe

The crepes on the menu are not crepes. Crepe is made of flour. More flour than egg. This was a plain omelette. Menu is not as much deceiving at it is plain wrong. The ambiance is nice. Bar tender lady was very pleasant. My omelette came with two French toasts. They were sprinkled with vanilla. The French toasts were real French toasts. I'd correct the menu.

I love the aesthetic! This downtown Greenville restaurant really screams "French," with its Paris themed decor. The service is pretty spot-on, with friendly and efficient servers. We stopped in on a mid-morning Friday and were immediately seated on the sidewalk seating area, overlooking the main street and the busy-ness of this area. I had the turkey & gruyere croissant; the croissant was baked in house, it was perfectly flaky, making a delicious sandwich. I paired it with a lemony champagne cocktail - a perfect lunch.

Beautiful little place that's a must try. It smells amazing as soon as you get in. A sweet adventure to paradise. The customer service was great. Super friendly and very attentive. I felt very homey in bonjour main. This is a great place to come and relax for a breakfast, brunch , dinner or sweet treat with coffee. The decorations are beautiful inside and made me want to decorate my home. There were so many things I wanted to try. The orange crape was delicious but I loved the filling on the strawberry one and together they were delicious. I will absolutely be back to try more things. Stop it, I promise you won't regret it.

So beautiful

A beautiful cafe on the Main Street. The entrance is absolutely gorgeous as you can see in the picture, I honestly thought it was a flower shop when I got there. The decor on the inside is also pretty and the place is pretty sizable but my only issue with the decor is the lighting. For a place to be called "Bonjour" which is good morning in French, it should be very bright on the inside. It was pretty dark in mid morning. More cozy than I expected. Menu has a variety of options but it was mostly crepes, sweet and savory, salads and sandwiches. We picked a vegetarian crepe with mushrooms and spinach and cheese, I decided to skip the cheese. We also ordered 1 orange juice. Food was served pretty quickly, it was made right in front of us as the crepe station is facing the tables. My husband enjoyed his crepe but I thought it was just ok. Probably my fault cause I asked for no cheese which would have given the crepe the right amount of salt and flavor. There was no salt on the table so by the time I was able to ask for salt, I was almost done with my crepe. Prices are slightly high. The crepes were not super filling but we ended up paying in excess of $40. Cool place overall and worth trying for sure!

Fall For Greenville 2023

I tried a crepe from Bonjour Main at Fall for Greenville. I tried the ham and cheese crepe. It was a crepe with a round thin slice of ham and a Kraft single slice of cheese. I was not impressed. It was just a bland tasting crepe. This was not a game changer for me not to try Bonjour Main again. My next visit will be to the restaurant, and I'll try a sweet crepe or something else on their menu. Will update after my next visit.

We unknowingly came the night of the Christmas parade so it was quite busy. The staff were all very friendly but the service was very slow and we had to ask for refills on water. The place is lovely with sweet decorations throughout. And the food was absolutely incredible. We had the charcuterie board, the tuna al pesto, Caesar salad with chicken, and the bananas foster crepe. We will absolutely return and hope we come on a less busy night.

Creme Brulee Crepe

Phenomenal. Had the creme brûlée crepe which was sweet and so good. Had strawberries on it w some whip cream. Also had the bacon egg and potato crepe which was delightful. Had the saltiness of the bacon w the bechamel sauce on top of the crepe. Definitely hit this place up for a bite. The wait can be a little long but it's worth it. Service was friendly.

Chicken and Mushroom Crepe

From the whimsical decor, variety of offerings, and euro-esque dining experience, this place is something different in the most fabulous way! Fun umbrellas, florals, and even a disco ball don the interior, making for an exciting visual experience. There were plenty of tasty-looking sweet and savory crepes to choose from, along with a sprinkling of other options (it is a creperie, after all). I asked for a decaf latte, but in the absence of decaf espresso our server, Austin, made me a cafe au lait (decaf brewed coffee + steamed milk). The lighter flavor ended up being a lovely compliment to my meal, and he was even kind enough to make me a second cup! The chicken and mushroom crepe was tasty, and the portion size wasn't too much for a slightly smaller appetite. They are also promoting a new dinner menu, so check out the attached photos for dinnertime menu offerings! Overall, this is a cute spot worthy of popping into for future Sunday brunches.

Nutella Crepe
Ashley B.

The atmosphere of this restaurant definitely has its own unique style. It didn't really do much for me, but I can see how people would love it. I ordered the Nutella Crepe which was good but for costing over $16 before taxes was way too much for the amount it was. I know downtown businesses have a lot of expenses, but there are plenty of places more reasonably priced. They also messed up my ticket charging me for something I didn't order, but they fixed it when I brought it to their attention. I left the restaurant hungry.

I booked a table on the patio as I read that the restaurant was super pet friendly. And it was perfect! Both were plentiful and absolutely delicious. The tzatziki was so yum I got more to dip my fries in (it came with chipotle ketchup that was also delicious.) The only downside was the parking. All of the lots were $10, but I was able to find free street parking after riding around for a bit. Overall worth a little hassle for a delicious experience!

Christine also deals with some allergens so she understands the difficulties. I selected the chocolate almond flour cake, double layered, semi-naked, with stevia instead of sugar, and macarons on top to be nestled into the specific flowers I wanted, gladiolus for August birthday month. The cost for this custom cake with all the specific ingredients was so reasonable. I will be ordering another smaller one for my grandmother's 80th who also avoids sugar and gluten.
