I can't believe I've lived a mere 5 minutes away from this gem for the past 4.5 years, and I'm just getting around to trying it. I have seen it many times - made a mental note to try it, but just never made the plunge. I'm from New Jersey - diner capital of the world. Since living in SoCal, it has been difficult to find anything that comes remotely close to what I'm used to from back home...that is until I found Brandon's. My husband and I showed up on a late Sunday morning (around 11ish). There was a short wait for a table. The staff were very friendly from the start. As soon as they put the menus in front of us that were the length of a mini-novel, I knew I was in for a treat. Can a large menu be intimidating? Sure - but all diners back east have massive menus, so this was hella nostalgic for me. I ended up going with the Popeye's omelet which has onions, cheese, mushrooms, and spinach. I was able to choose two sides. I went with a biscuit and gravy and pancakes (the pancakes were totally for my husband to eat as there was no way I could even attempt to eat all that food). My husband went with the carnitas skillet. You get a choice of fries or hash browns in the skillet. I ordered coffee and a water to drink. There were an assortment of creamers already on the table (flavored ones too!). Service was friendly and fast! I was actually amazed how quickly our food came out. And OMG, the amount of food we were served! The portions are huge! My omelet was $13 and I couldn't even touch the pancakes. The biscuit and gravy was delicious. Everything actually was. I ate every bite of my omelet, and I'm usually very hesitant to order omelets at restaurants because they can be very hit or miss. My husband was also pleased with his food. Menu had an assortment of breakfast items (lots of pancake options, omelet options, breakfast sandwiches, waffles, chilaquiles - you name it - they have it!), lunch items, and dinner too! This review is in regards to my wife and myself experience here. Today we went for lunch here. Bad service, I ordered a cup of coffee and 1/2 way into my drink there was a coffee stain like a bath tub ring how can you miss this? The server Cristina had a bad attitude, I asked for a to go box with a plastic fork and a cup of ice water and lemon wedge well all I got was water. I didn't appreciate this woman's smirking attitude. We've been coming to this restaurant for 3 years but we will be going somewhere else from now on. read more

I usually come here with my family in between or before my nephew's baseball games. I love it here because although it is usually busy, I've never had to wait to be seated. They serve up huge portions here so come hungry or be ready to take some leftovers. I have had Brandon's breakfast, the steak sandwich as well as the chili cheese fries with cheese. I haven't had a bad meal here yet. I like sitting by the full-service bar and having a cocktail (usually a bloody-mary) and watching whatever selection of sports they have on the TVs in that section. Fantastic menu with everything from huge breakfasts to Mexican dishes to comfort food dinners! Plus a full bar Cece is our favorite but they all are great! Service is good and everyone is friendly. In the cantina there are TV's at each table so you can watch your game. We love to come here on Sundays - just wish they were open later on Friday and Saturday nights. Had breakfast. Here is my conclusion. Eggs were overdone, bacon was chewy, sausages were almost cold and the hash browns were under cooked. Went on lunch, food was ok didn't order anything to really rate, chicken tenders and fries. My husband ordered a croissant breakfast sandwich and only the sandwich came out no side with it or anything else on the plate so it looked a little plane. The restaurant is a little out dated on the decor. Service was fine, the waitress was very tentative but she did have a lot of tables she was waiting herself. The food took a while to come out not too big of deal unless you're on a time crunch for lunch hour. My first visit. They don't have a weekend buffet like their ontario location. This location is spacious. Came for an early dinner and was not busy. Very clean. Excellent service. Ordered the chicken fajita baked potato. It was a large sized Idaho potato and the chicken was grilled with lots of flavor. My mom had the steak and it was very tender. My son had the kids Mac n cheese. Looked like the standard microwaveable individual Kraft packets. Worked for me because he doesn't like the "homemade style". Fail Decent service with disgusting food. Service: B- The service was above average. Definitely got the feeling that staff was not interested however it was not the "get outta here" attitude. They do not tell you that you pay at cashier. I figured that out by seeing what others did Food: D Fail if the portions werent gigantic. Limited to breakfast. My omlette was just gross. Overly salted. Too much sauce and meat. No substance. Pancake. No flavor. Nothing. Bisquick with extra sugar. French toast. Not bad. Its just a buttered piece of thick bread with egg outline. Location: B Nestled towards the back. Not highly visible. Morning had good parking but i can see the headaches at lunchtime. Pricing: A Portions are huge. Value per ounce is generous. If I could give zero starts I would! I ordered at 9:47am and was told 15-20 minutes so I sent my husband and AGAIN they gave him the wrong order. 40 minutes later they gave him cold food and hard poached eggs and a muffin that appeared to have mold. $40 in the trash and this was the 3rd time in a row we got the wrong food or was missing something. Crappy chairs and some booths don't help the cause, but the menu is worthy -- it's huge with a bevy of choices. Positives: ======= * Good hours, 6am-9pm * Breakfast is served all-day * Soup & Salad Bar -- not the freshest or expansive I've ever seen, but they do have some Mexican specialties like posole and ceviche. This location is totally inconsistent with their cooking and customer service. When Alicia and Ana are working, the service is excellent, totally polite, and the food is OUTSTANDING. Other days, the service is absolutely terrible, totally unfriendly, the eggs are so over cooked they're discolored, and the "toast" is usually just bread... Today, 11/27/2020, is one of those off days. I picked up a to go order and confirmed the order when I paid. Of course, I got to work and opened the order to find it was wrong. I called and all I got was "Do you want a new one?" No apology. I returned to pick up my actual order. I received nothing but attitude and still no apology. Well if you want to eat skimpy food !! And pay $$. This is the place, I order a Ruben Sandwich and literally had ONE thin slice of corned beef! Lot's of sauerkraut as if it was the main ingredient!
