Don't believe the Instagram hype. Ordered a Soujak and Asada + Bacon breakfast burrito, and while the burritos were definitely stuffed, they weren't exactly stuffed with your choice of protein. Lady at the counter looked like she didn't want to be there. She seemed confused when I asked for extra sauce (since it's .50c per on the website?). Asked for the spicy red sauce, also wasn't in the bag, but the cilantro and green sauce was. All in all the burrito and sauces were good, just lacking actual meat in them. Review time again for this place. It's is absolutely delicious. I had the plain jane. Two little mini sandwiches with hash browns. It's looks plain but wow the flavor was just wonderful! So far it's been my favorite item of the menu. I've tried the breakfast burrito without meat (I'm a vegetarian). My friend had their croissant torta and said it was delicious as well. Their sauces, like I mentioned before, are also some of the best sauces in town. A must try. It's a bit pricey but neither one of us finished our meal. Loads of delicious eggs and fillings, they don't just jam it with cheap potatoes like most restaurants. + Everything is seasoned perfectly and it's a rollercoaster of flavor from the first bite to the last. + We're intrigued by the Armenian meat options - Sojouk and Basturma - but we have tried the veggie and the bacon/sausage versions and both are outstanding. + They have some interesting homemade desserts like banana pudding which are also very tasty, if sometimes a little rich for me. + They have easy online ordering options to order ahead before you drive over. + There's plenty of free parking in the strip mall parking lot in the mornings, but it might get busy later. Had noticed this place several times and was curious. The place has a modern cyber cafe vibe with silver shiny chrome tables and chairs. The employees were very nice. I ordered the breakfast burrito with bacon. Kudos for the bacon for being super crispy. Decently large portions too. The cilantro crema was delicious. I'm definitely going to try to re-create it at home. The major problem with the burrito was that although they had a very generous amount of hashbrowns, they were completely unseasoned and had no flavor and the texture was just soft like mashed potatoes. Bummer, it is burrito blasphemy to open it up to add seasoning or anything else to it because it will not be the same afterwards. Also, their jalapeño salsa was completely boring and not good at all. Why can't so many cafés and restaurants make a good salsa? This one just tasted like puréed jalapeños, onions, and garlic with water and no seasoning. Same thing from Corner Cottage, Norm's Hamburger, etc. Thw pineapple Agua fresca was nice. Nothing too memorable. Don't see me coming back. read more

Friendly staff, and appreciate that they allowed me to order 15min before closing I liked the option of choosing between burrito, sandwich, sliders, and quesadilla. My first review in quite some time, and the very 1st of 2024. If you follow my Yelp, then you already know that the BIG John is a breakfast burrito enthusiast. So, when Bread & Breakfast opened up not too far from where I live, it goes without saying it's been towards the top of my list of places to try for quite some time. Located in a mini strip mall at the corner of Alameda and Glen Oaks in Burbank, you shouldn't have any trouble finding parking in the event you're driving up. There's a walk-up window for takeout and a small dining area inside... belly up to the counter kind of place. If you're into fusion and in to what I like to call fat boy breakfast treats, this place is definitely for you. The fusion is Armenian and Mexican. A nice menu that varies from breakfast tacos ,tortas, burritos, croissants, and other deliciousness. Aquafresca and an array of soft drinks, juices, and of course, water available in the dijimg room cooler, grab one yourself. As I was reading the reviews, many folks mentioned this place is quite busy, so I decided to order online. As the saying goes "When in Rome do as the Romans do " being an Armenian fusion spot I decided to try the Basturma Burrito (highly seasoned, Armenian air-dried cured premium beef), sauteed tomatoes, eggs, hashbrowns, 4 cheese Mexican blend. I decided to customize it, add some avocado, hold the sauteed tomatoes, and get those hash browns extra crispy. Had some housemaid cilantro lime crema and a spicy salsa on the side. 20 minutes or so later my order was ready. Upon arrival, the hype was definitely true as the place was quite busy. Very clean inside crystal clear windows and the glass door, which sounds kind of silly but trust me if the windows are clean everything's clean. I grabbed my order sat down outside where there's a couple of picnic benches and got into what was truly a delicious and unique breakfast burrito. Now the part of me that is Big John wants a burrito so big that it looks like the size of my forearm however this was a good size burrito but not too big. The basturama was DELICIOUS bursting with flavor a bit savory a little sweet and a unique Armenian spice that tickles the pallet just right paired up with just the right amount of hash browns cheese avocado and fluffy scrambled eggs. Ordering on the website was quite easy and gives you the option to completely customize your burrito to either hold off on some things or add your own. All of the flavors of this burrito masterfully came together cilantro lime crema was excellent! This is something I've gotten really into after being introduced to it over the last year, they clearly make theirs in house and they nail it. The spicy salsa was a green chili based salsa some nice spice a little too thick and needed something to prop it on to my burrito which ended up being my finger. I washed it down with an iced coffee I brought from home. It's worth mentioning and I don't believe to be the restaurants fault but I was never notified the order was ready I don't know if it's through the third party app they partnered with for their ordering or perhaps the text I opted in for that states an ETA of completion is all you get ? Not a big deal, but if I'm gonna give five stars, it needs to literally be a perfect experience. Also coming in with tax at just over $20 for a single burrito is expensive, deliciousness for sure but , pricey. I did add some extras but the base price is a hefty $16.99 Some say you get what you pay for ... WORTH IT! I will definitely be back and I'll be sure to tell all you all about it here on the mighty Yelp. read more
