I have to say the customer service is very friendly and attentive with anything you need. Food goes beyond good is amazing, first time and I'll keep coming. Thanks for that flavor.

A small little store open for breakfast and lunch, the place feels cozy with its wood facade floor and walls and ability peer straight into the kitchen. Service is minimal, stemming from the small space and order at counter approach, making the restaurant feel quaint. I ordered the (Philly) Cheese Steak and it was underwhelming. The cheese melted excellently and the mushroom impart a wonderful savory taste but the impact of the flavors is lacking. The beef tastes nonexistent, the bread texture is off, and, this will only offend those who care, there are peppers in the sandwich. There are makings of a good sandwich here, but the punch and depth of flavor just isn't there. Supposedly, they are known for their burrito, so the fault may lie with me.

Breakfast Tacos not the best picture but trust me they are delicious.

I've been to this restaurant before for lunch, but today I was in the area and decided to try their breakfast tacos. They were flavorful. I opted out of getting the ham and sausage and instead added avocado. I loved how the bacon was chopped up in the eggs with onions and hash browns. I really enjoyed these tacos. The services was fast the parking was pretty good. The ambiance gives me small town diner vibes.

Landed at 7:00am at LAX and was looking for breakfast. This place was open so I took the 5 minute drive there and had the special of the day. The naked burrito it was great the avocado was fresh and the pico was nice and fresh definitely will be coming back when I'm in the area.

This small establishment is a very good spot in LA. I went for their Philly Cheesesteak with a side of fries. The cheese pull, the portion, the sandwich was an A+ Service was also as good, as the guy on register helped me pick my food, and gave me other suggestions

The weekday hours on Yelp state they close at 3:00PM. Apparently, that is not accurate. More on that in a bit. I wish I could write a good review. I used to love the pancakes here. But then the last time I tried them, they had this very processed or cheap quality taste where something in the batter or recipe went down in quality and had a more processed taste to it. But I figured the saving grace was that their breakfast burrito was still absolutely delicious. Now back to the closing time. I was in the area on a Tuesday and craving Bread & Butter's breakfast burrito. I strolled in at 2PM and looked at the menu above the counter to make sure they still served my favorite. I don't know the employee's name. But she was very young (looked about 19 or 20). All she had to say was, "Hi. We're closing. Sorry." I replied, "It reads online that you close at 3:00." She replies, "We close at 2:30 and we're closing down now." She didn't seem too concerned or interested in helping. This wasn't getting anywhere. And I didn't feel like asking an employee to do their job when, clearly, leaving for the day was more important to them instead of servicing customers. But even if you do close at 2:30, why do you stop offering food (even takeout would be a fine option) 30 minutes before closing? Sadly, Bread & Butter is not what it once was. Hope I can find a decent breakfast burrito somewhere else. But I would very much welcome an email from the owner (I believe it is still Joe who owns the restaurant) if he would like to address the aforementioned issues.

Really upset that there are no updated hours of operation for holidays not only online but at least on the window.

Located right by the beach, the restaurant has an absolutely amazing ocean view. I remember having brunch there, and everything we ordered was delicious. I also remember the service being very friendly and welcoming. Today, a friend mentioned that she had been there, and it suddenly brought back memories of my own visit. So I went searching through my old photos and found these. Manhattan Beach used to be one of my favorite places to visit, and I went there quite often back then. Looking at these photos makes me want to go back again soon.

We were told it was not available...that they had reservations already set. As a side note, I too had made a reservation. Marina was our server...difficult to pin down exactly how I felt about her. Nice, but not super nice. I felt like we were a chore. The whole reason for my review is the bussing staff...THEY. WERE. INCREDIBLE! Each and every one of them were personable, had the biggest smiles, and were genuinely caring people. They joked with us and made the whole experience worth it. The food was delicious. The ambiance is a bit too uppity for me. Great place to grab a drink...the bar is lovely and the servers were great. Back to Jason and "the table". Two booth tables sat empty the entire two hours we were there. My first time dining there...not in a hurry to return.

Made reservations a few days ahead and Gary reached out to see if there was anything he could help accommodate with to make our evening special. That was a very nice gesture. There have been many changes to the place since we've last been and the ambience was very nice outside and in. Could lean fancy or as casual as you'd like. We had the roasted Brussels sprouts, steak frites and the scallops. Everything was amazing! Good quality, cooked well. Steak was exactly medium rare and scallops were cooked to perfection. Word of advice, if you get the Brussel Sprouts, get extra bread to soak up the sauce as you enjoy the sprouts. Can't wait til the next time!
