So i had to order to go due to work, but right when i walked up i was greeted right away and once i said picking up walked me to the bar and said the bar tender would take my order and right away asked me if i needed help with the menu if i was thirsty just amazing customer service! Super friendly! I thought the look of it was pretty cool i like the egg chairs they have out front! The food was great, i had a basic breakfast but it was great and its not expensive either! I didn't get a picture of the inside but you will have to come check it out !

In the land of good brunches that is Culver City, this place is pretty good. My friends and I have come here twice. It definitely gets crowded on Sundays. Luckily we've never had to wait more than 30 minutes. They have indoor and outdoor seating options. I like the variety of breakfast options on their menu. This time, I went for the chicken fennel sausage scramble to be on the healthier side. I actually really enjoyed the breakfast potatoes and the toast with jam too. Really wanted to try their fresh squeezed OJ but they were out that day. Looking forward to coming here again!

Tried this place for the first time. We went for brunch. It's a nice little spot. Theres free parking in the building and seating inside as well as outside. I ordered the Bae Mac with scrambled eggs, jack cheese and Jurassic Pork. The Jurassic Pork was salty/sweet but I would probably have it again but by itself. I want to taste more of the Jurassic Pork lol. It mixed well with the cheesy mac n cheese. Maybe too well lol. The Bae Mac was very cheesy, especially with the Jack cheese. Also tried it with the Cluckin' Good hot sauce. Not bad! Overall a nice eating experience. I wouldn't mind coming back to try the rest of the menu.

I came for breakfast on a Sunday and was seated right away(I heard there's always a wait time). The waiter was friendly and she told us about the coffee they have . I ordered a breakfast republic vanilla latte and the chilaquiles. Really delicious food but I wish they had a little bit more sour cream on the chilaquiles. The food came out fast even though the place was busy. Parking was tough to find. We tried for street parking but there was none so we parked in a structure close by and it was $15.

i visited this morning around 11am, and to my surprise, it wasn't too busy! they had plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. the employees were kind and attended to our needs very quickly :) my friend and i ordered the BR sammie and the strawberry mascarpone french toast. the sandwich was delicious and a very big serving! the prices were reasonable too. the environment felt very home-like, which i loved, and its location was in the heart of downtown culver city, so there are plenty of places to walk around after a filling brunch!

Came here to eat breakfast/lunch for the first time & food was large in portion; it was good + would come back to try other items on their menu!

Breakfast was okay. We arrived early for a girls 8:00am birthday breakfast date. Nothing special to remember. I do recall that they don't offer a kids menu. I did see another child in at this time. Something for them to consider. A pancake and a piece of bacon on a kids menu would be a HIT! Place was mostly empty and there is free street parking on Sunday mornings. Bon apetito!

Breakfast Republic has become one of my favorite breakfast spots. The food is consistently delicious, the atmosphere is lively and welcoming, and the menu offers something for everyone. I'm especially obsessed with their sensational and strong Bloody Marys--perfectly crafted and packed with flavor. The shrimp and yellow polenta is a standout dish that's rich, comforting, and unique. Their breakfast burritos are generously portioned and always satisfying, and the lattes are expertly made and the perfect way to start the day. Whether you're meeting friends, treating family, or simply enjoying a leisurely weekend brunch, Breakfast Republic delivers a fun and memorable dining experience every time. Highly recommended!

Yet another California bruuunchhh Really fun atmosphere, very popular brunch spot. Reservations HIGHLY recommended. They seated our large group of 12 with no issues and the service was amazing. Frequent water refills and food came out pretty quickly despite the large group. No food issues/incorrect orders and the servers were so friendly! Chicken fennel sausage omelette - I was a little underwhelmed, won't lie. A little bland for my taste despite the peppers and seasoned sausage. I liked it a lot better with their custom spicy Ketchup sauce. The upgraded brussel sprouts & potatoes side were reallyyyyy good. Perfectly crisp and seasoned and actually quite good when reheated (I brought home leftovers). Dirty chai latte - I'm usually not a coffee person but it was REALLY GOOD. Not too sweet at all with a great balance of flavor. Iced with oat milk and it had me buzzing the whole rest of the day lol. Overall a fun spot, nothing super stood out to me but it's awesome for groups and they had really funny merchandise for sale as well.

Stopped by Breakfast Republic for the first time and overall had a good experience. We arrived around 11am and were surprised there was no line. The host greeted us right away and was very friendly. I ordered the fresh-squeezed orange juice, which was delicious. For breakfast, I got the American, three eggs, house potatoes, bread, and your choice of sausage or bacon. I went with the chicken fennel-Asiago sausage and it was really good. We asked about the pancake options and were told we could substitute them for the bread, but didn't realize there would be an extra charge, so a little more transparency there would help. Service was friendly, though it felt a bit rushed even though it wasn't too busy. The atmosphere is welcoming and it's a great spot if you're craving breakfast. Parking can be tricky. Street parking is limited, but the Culver Garage about two blocks away offers the first hour free. There's also an underground garage that validates the first 30 minutes, but after that it's about $2.75 every 15 minutes.

Busy place for brunch, good-sized outdoor patio as well as indoor space. High ceilings and sort of a rustic vibe inside. Portions, at least for their more signature dishes, are pretty substantial-- the couple next to me at the bar ordered three (chilaques, I think a strawberry pancake stack, and omelet) that were massive. As they had space at the bar I was able to bypass the wait for a table immediately, not sure how long that wait would have been? I went for more reasonable, a normal stack of pancakes and some eggs-- pricing on both was surprisingly reasonable, and quality was good. Service was friendly and definitely well-intentioned, but you could tell they got a little busy, which is hard on the staff.

Great as always...food, service and energy! Wait wasn't bad on a Sunday around 12:30. This is a solid breakfast option!

The San Diegans did it again. Coming up north with their crazy ass breakfast spots and big ol' diabetic pancakes and inspiring sporty slogans. Really can't go wrong with this place if you have visitors in the area looking to satisfy their severely sweet tooth. Honestly i am a savory girl so I like getting a breakfast platter (get the Portuguese sausage as a substitute you'll thank me later) or my tried and true chilaquiles. Drinks? Bottomless coffee and cafe de olla! (I still think the cafe de olla is too sweet, so try half and half). The ube latte is overrated imo. They also have a small bar and they really push to try their prosecco if you're into that too. Seats are outside as well as inside. They have heated lamps for those brisk mornings. Not much cover from rain or sun though. Inside gets super loud btw, perfect for your screaming toddlers like mine! Unsurprisingly , this SD chain has samplers for their pancakes and French toast if you're the non committal type. I should know, my ex is from San Diego! Womp womp badaba Enjoy Ps. I'm a local, so where do people park?!? Good luck on that one, people. But there are a few parking structures in the area or street parking if you can decipher LA's parking zones.

Do the plain side of grits have cheese?

Yes!

Do they take Apple Pay?

As far as I'm aware, yes.

Can I make a seating reservation by calling?

The automated phone menu states that the restaurant is first come first serve and they do not take reservations.

What is the actual price of the traditional Benedict? The place is opened up and one menu photo showed $14 and the other showed $13... Please tell me this place didn't raise their prices this quick?!

It's clear they've put intentional effort into improving this week, as service was a highlight for us. Our waiter, Sunny, was so polite, quick, and communicative. He had a lot of tables to cover, as it was a packed and chaotic room during the Mexico vs. Ecuador game last night. The N17 burger and fries (both the regular shoe string fries and sweet potato fries) were fantastic! Both were cooked just right, very flavorful, and the fries were nice and crispy. The atmosphere and design of the restaurant in front isn't your typical "sports bar" - it feels more like a cute, sunny brunch restaurant with high-quality screens for sports viewing - but the clientele feels just like any other sports bar would :) It was very lively and fun to watch with others last night. For the World Cup, they've opened up their event space in the back which is not set up like a typical restaurant - but it was great for viewing! The screens are HUGE and very high-quality.

Listen, I understand being busy is one thing but blatantly ignoring paying customers that have been sitting and waiting to be served for 20-30 minutes after only ordering two drinks is strange to me. And then to come back and ask if we wanted to remove the items we already ordered without us having to bring it up just lets me know that you remembered all this time but chose not to serve us until someone had to go ask to be served AGAIN. Even other venues that are 5x bigger than this one have better customer service/attentiveness. We also ordered the bottomless mimosas and only got through 2 bottles because it took them 20 minutes to bring out the first one and another 15 to bring out the second one when it was asked for. And on top of that, they act like they're doing YOU a favor by bringing out the food & drinks that YOU paid for. I have never written a negative review before but this experience was awful; just a waste of money &, what should have been, a good time.

Not sure what happened, but the last couple of times we have been here, this place was partnering with another pop-up joint offering "Pan-Asian soul food." In my opinion, this has been the downfall of this place. We came here two nights ago and it's a weird situation because they are basically offering you options from two separate menus. Knowing what I like, I ordered the spicy Obaasan sandwich. Boyfriend, however, opted to venture into the space of the neighboring restaurant and ordered the chicken and rice something or such. It turned out to be the blandest most flavorless dish ever, even though it was served with three tiny plastic cups of accompanying sauces. The chicken literally looked like boiled chicken and was completely devoid of flavor or seasoning. Also, service was unbelievably slow. Pleasant when she finally showed up, but painfully slow. We used to like The Humble Potato but we absolutely do not like this partnership they have with this brand and will probably not come back.

Unfortunately, I had an off experience today, and I'm really only leaving this review to make sure an employee isn't unfairly blamed for something that wasn't his fault. When I placed my order, Terry (the manager) wasn't around. I ordered what I intended to be the Double HiHo Cheeseburger. Whether I misspoke or Yael misheard me, when my buzzer went off I was handed the Classic instead. I let Yael know, and he immediately apologized and said they'd take care of it. He told me to hang onto the original burger while they remade the correct one. I even mentioned that I'd give the extra burger to someone outside rather than let it go to waste. At that point, Terry overheard the conversation and stepped in. What should have been a simple reorder suddenly became much more complicated. He repeatedly explained that he was only charging me the small price difference for the upgraded burger, which was completely fine. What bothered me wasn't the charge. What bothered me was that Terry began correcting Yael loudly enough for customers to hear. He wasn't yelling, but it was clearly a public reprimand. From my perspective, Yael had done exactly what he was supposed to do. After I reordered with Terry, I reached for the original burger that Yael had already told me I could keep because of the mistake. Terry pulled it back and asked if I wanted it "in addition." I explained that Yael had already told me I could keep it since the order mistake wasn't my fault. Terry seemed visibly flustered and responded that, yes, that was usually the policy. That confirmed what I already thought: Yael hadn't done anything wrong. As a customer who comes here often, it was uncomfortable watching an employee be embarrassed in front of customers for simply following what appears to be company policy. If there was ever a coaching conversation to be had, it should have happened privately, not in front of guests. Honestly, I don't think there was anything to coach him on in the first place. This review is not meant to criticize Yael. It's actually the opposite. He was polite, owned the mistake immediately, communicated well, and handled the situation professionally. I hope he isn't reprimanded further because, from where I was standing, he did absolutely nothing wrong. The food was still good, as it usually is, although this visit didn't quite have the same feel as my previous ones. I'll definitely be back, but I wanted to speak up because employees who treat customers well deserve to be supported when they've done the right thing.

We went to see the Mario movie because it was $6 Tuesday, and the movie ended a little after 9, so we rushed over knowing Hopdoddy closes at 10. When we walked in, they were already mopping floors with chairs up on tables on one side, but there were still a few people eating in the bar area, so we figured we were okay. We ordered a Thunderbird bowl (dressing on the side), the burger of the month, the Smothered Texan (free, because we're Legendary status) a doble fina margarita with a tajín rim, and a Sam Adams draft. I checked the time when we finished ordering--9:34 on the dot--because it already felt like the kitchen was trying to shut things down early. We sit down, chatting, all good... until we realize our drinks haven't come. We're seated in the bar area, so we can literally see the bartender chatting with a couple, NOT making drinks. Then our food arrives. Still no drinks. I ordered a chicken patty, which typically takes longer to cook, so there's really no reason for food to beat the drinks out. I check the time again and it's 9:45. I'm about to get up, but I see the bartender finally pouring the draft, so I wait it out. Then I realize my bowl came with no dressing at all, so I get up to ask for it. On my way back, I pass the drink pickup area and see my husband's beer just sitting there... next to my empty margarita glass. Meanwhile, the bartender is back to chatting instead of finishing the drink. I had planned to just grab the drinks myself to save the server a trip, but instead I'm standing there trying to get the bartender's attention--or at least hoping he'd mix the margarita while he talked. He eventually noticed me and started making it, but by then my food was sitting at the table getting cold, so I went back to sit down. I didn't even get a chance to take a picture of the Smothered Texan because by the time I got back my husband was almost done with it. The drinks finally arrived at 9:50. And to add insult to injury... the tajín rim was barely there. Honestly, I waited tables all through college and I get that it's annoying when people come in close to closing (especially on a Tues) but the experience shouldn't feel like you're inconveniencing the staff for being there. Between the missing dressing, the drinks sitting untouched, and the bartender prioritizing conversation over service, the whole night just felt off. Disappointing, especially since this has always been one of our go-to spots.
