Came in for a Team dinner. 32 people. Now we called a week in advance to see if they could handle the amount of Teenagers and parents. We were told they have done this kind of thing in the past without issue. We showed up and they didn't have the waitstaff first. Had to wait for someone to agree to seat us and wait on us. After being seated, you could tell this wasn't going to go well. All were given waters and then it went downhill quickly. The waitress took drink orders and appetizers. They came out sporadically. Very. Sporadically. What seemed like 30+ minutes later, waitress came back for the meal orders. This was were it got even worse. Missed people's orders completely. A family was seated 60 minutes after we arrived, ordered and paid and left 30 minutes after our last dinner came out. For example, we arrived at 4pm and didn't leave until close to 6:30pm. I want to make sure I am clear, we called and fully provided the expectations. "We do this all the time". If so, they don't do it well. Now, I'm not here blaming the server or the cooks, when we provide the full understanding of what and who we are, either you can meet the expectations or you cannot meet them. I ordered the Salmon. Was pretty good, cooked well on rice. Side was Tater tots, got maybe 7-8 tots in a plastic bowl. Liv ordered the Chicken Tenders, seemed salty when I tasted them. I just finished screening Gemini Man after work and realized I haven't had dinner yet. Since it opened recently and was nearby I decided to try this spot out on 10/10/19. Bubbas is a restaurant and sports bar - they have a bar sectioned off from the rest of the restaurant which has tv's all around it. Everywhere you turn your head when you're sitting at the bar you'll see a tv. I guess that's pretty cool, especially since on this night the New England was playing NYG and the Astros were playing the Rays. The first bartender greeted me immediately after I sat down; she was friendly and all smiles. She plugged their wings as the best around and took my drink order. After serving my drink she passed me over to another bartender as it looked like her shift was ending. The second bartender was more of the quiet type. She was still plenty nice (just not as friendly as the first) but was busy with other customers and making drink orders for the customers in the dining section. Effectively, she didn't say much to me although she was good on drink refills and was attentive to my needs. Speaking of orders, I tried their chipotle chicken and shrimp pasta. It had a little kick to it as it was served with a chipotle cream sauce. The chicken was a tad overcooked, while the shrimp was cooked perfectly. Overall, it was a good dish and I wouldn't mind ordering it again. Overall, Bubbas is fine. They did everything fine, although I didn't see anything that made them stand out. I read A.F.'s review and I agree that it's "just another run-of-the-mill sports bar/restaurant," and there's nothing wrong with that. Typical American cuisine, very extensive menu! There are a lot of seating options which is nice. Just an FYI, this is not a restaurant for intimate conversations- it's always loud in there. They have bunch of tvs on the walls: some show music videos, stupid things people do on the internet, and sports channels. It can be overstimulating for some, but I enjoy it. We have always been met with excellent service! If our meal is messed up they fix it no problem (has only happened twice in the 6 years we've been going). I don't know. I have mixed feelings about this place. My husband had dined at one in Indiana with his brothers and was excited to see one here in the Peake. We made our initial visit on a Sunday afternoon around noon. It reminds me of an open area BWs. Too loud and a lot of tvs. What I didn't like was the table chairs (low seat, not bar top). I found them very uncomfortable. Because I wanted a low table we were seated in the bar. All was ok til them rolled up the mesh 'windows'. It was super hot and very bright. Not only was I now warm but I felt as if I needed my sunglasses. I had the philly cheesesteak, fries and we shared an appetizer of onion rings and fried pickles. The onion rings were superb. Alot of places around here have their OR with planko crumbs which I detest! These were battered and perfection. When I but into them, the onion ring did not slide all the way out. The bite I took was all that came away. The philly cheesesteak did not agree with me and I spent the majority of the evening in horrific pain and in our restroom. For that reason alone I'm pretty sure I won't ever be back. Plus, I asked for mayo on my sandwich. It came on the side. Do you know how messy it is to put mayo on an already put together sandwich? Bubba's 33 is a newly opened restaurant in Battlefield. It reminds me of Texas Roadhouse, only they do not give out free dinner rolls. The restaurant is packed. The dining area is surrounded by large TVs, where you can watch sports and music videos. With that in mind, the restaurant is pretty loud, which is what we expected. We ordered the Shotgun Shrimp for appetizer, Chicken and Shrimp Pasta, and the South of the Border burger for our entree. The Chicken and Shrimp Pasta was delicious however it would've been better if there's more sauce for the pasta. The South of the Border burger tasted like tacos. It was good but my SO noticed that the patties broke off into smaller pieces unlike most burger patties. The Shotgun Shrimp was the highlight of our meal. It's mild spicy and is very flavorful. I love the sauce so much that I wished I ordered the Shotgun Chicken Wings as my entree. While the food is great, do not expect really an exceptional service here. The place is packed so we try to be patient while waiting for food or drinks to be refilled. Our server was very sweet though and she tried to accommodate our needs. Normally their food is good and they are on point but the last 3 visits have not been good and after last night I am never going back. Me and my bf wanted some burgers and to dine in, it was 9:55. We got to bubbas at 10 sat down quickly. We both knew what we wanted and ordered right away. 2 waters and our burgers. Order should've been put in at around 10:05. Sever gets us our drinks , we are sitting and waiting for our food. Some time passes by it's 10:30 wondering where our food is. Sever walks up to us and says the food should be out soon. We wait it's 10:40. Still no food. Manager walks up to us and says sorry your burgers are taking so long there was an issue. Food gets to us at 10:55.... Burgers weren't as good as they normally are. My bacon on my burger was not cooked all the way. They were still very pink. My bf found our order ticket for our food in his burger. How the hell does the ticket go into the burger???! I work food service I'm a cook and so is my bf there is no way a ticket got into that burger unless it was placed in it. We were just done at that point. Paid was quickly as possible and left. As we were walking out the door our sever comes running to us and gives us 2 free burger vouchers. Saying that this is was for the ticket that was in the burger. Thanks but no thanks. Not going to use these vouchers. A refund would've been better. Not coming back that was our last straw. We also didn't feel the best after eating there again. We noticed it happens every time we eat there. My bf actually threw up my stomach just felt queasy. Walking up and it was pretty average, but still welcoming. Once inside it became a more relaxed vibe. Feels like a place you can just go and get a good meal on any night of the week and have an enjoyable time. Wait staff was friendly as far as our interaction was when picking up our food. Bubba :( He let us down big time. Messed up our order twice and still had to pay for it. I have dietary needs (dairy allergy, gluten allergy, vegan) and specified that I wanted a salad with NO cheese with a black bean patty on-top. It took two managers, and three attempts to get the food somewhat correct. Beware if you have allergies, the mix-ups were very concerning especially after reassuring my complicated order I prepared them for was "nothing for me to worry about, they've prepared harder meals". This place is up the street from and I drive past it all the time. The parking lot is consistently packed most nights and I've kept saying that I would try them out, and I'm glad I did! Upon entering we were immediately greeted and given the option to where we'd like to sit. The waitress was prompt and took our drink order while we looked over the menu. The menu is packed with American favorites from all over and the pricing was phenomenal! I ended up ordering boneless wings with cajun seasoning and the Sunshine Burger with regular seasoned fries. My friend had the salmon with mash potatoes and broccoli, shotgun shrimp plus a drink I forgot to get the name of. The wings were fried perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning, the shotgun shrimp is their take on bang bang shrimp and they were okay. The salmon was top with a sweet chili sauce and paired with delicious mashed potatoes and not over cooked broccoli. The fries were good, real good! Cooked to perfection and the serving size was plentiful. The burger was cooked medium well which was spot on for me, along with it came a fried egg, bacon, lettuce, tomato and onions stacked with two beef Pattie's on a buttered bun. Was able to use my Veteran's Day coupon today. Had a choice of several items. Both my husband and myself decided on the bacon cheeseburger. OMG!! One of the best burgers I have had in a long time; and it was double patty. I dont tend to eat alot, but I couldnt stand to leave a piece of that delicious burger behind. On top of that it came with fries and a drink. Man....they really know how to treat a Veteran! While we were out car shopping, we decided to stop and give Bubba's a try because it was recommended to us by our car dealer. Needless to say it was a Friday night and the wait was about 30 to 40 minutes at least that's how long we waited after we finally got seated we were immediately greeted by our server she very nice and friendly and extremely informativeand knew the menu from front to back. We ordered an appetizer of the queso dip. I understand that it is a Friday night. However, the service after we were initially greeted declined from that point on we had to wait approximately 25 minutes for appetizers to arrive at this point the restaurant was no longer packed. It took our meal about 45 minutes to get to our table. It was not a large order it was 2 hamburgers and a pizza. Everyone enjoyed the food, but it was not worth the wait. I had the South of the border Burger. All the flavors work well. However, I should have read the menu better because that was not what I was expecting. The chorizo was crumbled on top of the Burger, and I had expected it to be mixed in with the meat. The chorizo was overcooked and hard and crumbly. I always like to give a restaurant at least 2 chances before I don't go back, so my wife and I will try Bubba's again. We will just choose a different night and time. read more

The burgers are really juicy and have amazing flavor. The service can be hit or miss depending on if there are games/level of customers inside. We waited about 30 mins after our reservation time to be seated because we were a large group (25) and we were told that they were understaffed despite having called hours before to give them a heads up that we would be there following my nieces graduation. The customer service was something that could definitely be improved. We had some staff that were friendly and others that made it feel like we were inconveniencing them; coming from Hawaii, where hospitality is a huge part of our culture, my standard is pretty high but I think any place whose success is dependent on the patron should prioritize service. I can forgive subpar food if the service is excellent, however it is a bit more difficult to overlook bad service no matter how great the food is. The food itself was great. I don't typically order steak out at restaurants but since I have dietary restrictions I went with the signature ribeye. I was intrigued by it because it is marinated in coffee. My husband and I ordered the same thing and both of our steaks were cooked perfectly. My husband didn't care too much for the sweetness of the steak but I didn't mind it. Bubba's used to be our favorite restaurant about a year an a half ago. Now we are so disappointed! Takes forever to get your food. And another forever to get your check. Doesn't matter when you go-lunch or dinner-busy or not. I was there 2 weeks ago when they first opened at 11 a.m. and getting our food and then check still took forever! And the last 5 times something wrong with at least one of the orders. And tonight 2 orders wrong. Waited to get check and then the military discount was forgotten and had to be redone. On top of all this the portion sizes have gotten smaller. Super Stromboli smaller and Southern Fried Chicken dinner just 1 chicken breast (used to be 2). So disappointed! Everything is usually fantastic, but literally just about everything we ordered came to the table COLD, watery (pasta), and completely unappetizing!!! Give this location a 5 star rating as well as a review that I never really do, but the fact that my wife and I go there every week they must be doing something right. Cheryl take office visits there so she spends more time there then I do. Here ladies fri for ladies night out have gone to several restaurants and made Bubba's 33 as the main restaurant of choice. Good food and mix as we eat a variety of different meals. We have raw tomato allergies and if there is an error with out food they prom take care of it the correct way by starting fresh. We stopped in mid afternoon a couple of days ago. We were pleasantly greeted and told they offered good food and great service. Our waiter arrived in a reasonable time. We ordered an appetizer that had fried pickles cheese sticks and fried chicken nuggets. The chicken was good as were the fried cheese sticks. The fried pickles weee ok but greasy. We both ordered burgers. Hers arrived and seemed ok at first. Mine was too thick and sloppy to bite. The burger was passable but the bun and condiments were a sloppy mess! The fries had a coating that was marginal at best. Our waiter was another story. He brought our water, appetizer and burgers then disappeared. To get a refill on water we had to call a second waiter. Overall, it was an AWFUL experience. The sound was so loud that conversation was totally impossible. We witnessed complaints from 2 adjoining tables. In summary it was a total disappointing experience. No service, too loud, terrible food and way way overpriced! $46.00 for 2 burgers,appetizer and water was rediculous! There is absolutely no possibility that we will ever return to this place. As an owner of a grocery chain once said "if you like our service, tell a friend. ". Had just moved to the area. A friend recommended Bubba's that was nearby my house. Went there, sat down, waitress came over and greeted me not. Did not ask if I've ever been there before or if I was familiar with the menu. so I took it myself to let her know That I just moved there and it was my first time at the restaurant . I ordered a bacon cheeseburger. when it came it turns out it was 2 beef patties instead of one, which was not mentioned in the menu plus it was cooked rare. The waitress had not bothered to ask how I wanted it cooked. So I sent it back asking for medium well With just one patty. Well everything looks good on the plate. But had a funny taste to it and I could only eat three bites of it. To me it has a very sweet taste to it. Mind you it only had bacon, cheese and lettuce on it. No reason for it to taste that sweet. Asked for the bill and they wanted me to pay for a burger I had not and could not eat. I will never go back there again. Poor hospitality. they really need to do better. read more
