I'm sorry but the milk tea boba was way too sweet and very light in color. I've never had anything like it. It was practically milk without the tea. The Taro boba was soooo sweet and chalky and not enough ice. The boba was warm and it changed the texture of the boba. It was gummy. We had the worst Boba drinks ever! I was craving a boba today and Buda Boba was a let down. If you want great Boba and you're in the Cerritos area...I recommend Kung Fu Tea....they have the best Boba drinks by far. read more

I came to this boba spot about a month and a half ago. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! I went in when they first opened! I ordered i believe a mango type tea boba with mango flavored boba and it was so refreshing. Their boba felt fresh and not as if it's been sitting out, which is what you want. I noticed this place one day after walking out of my bank. I like boba so thought I would give it a try. They just opened in January so it is relatively new. As I walked in I was greeted by Diego. Very friendly and answered all my questions that I ask when I try a new boba place. 1. Can you adjust the sweetness? 2. Do you use powders? 3. What is your favorite drink on the menu? The answers are yes to adjust sweetness and they use powders for certain flavors (Thai tea is just tea and non dairy creamer. No powder). Diego liked the flavored teas. It has a great atmosphere. I ordered a large Thai Milk Tea with boba. The boba was fluffy. I brought a book in to read and chill for a bit. When I was finished, Diego even said goodbye and I said I would be back. Very friendly staff. Ample parking and I used my Apple Pay here. They have a reward card. Buy 10 and get a regular drink with one add on. They have two sizes, regular and large, prices were very reasonable with the large only $.50 more. I would highly recommend Buda Boba and there is a good chance you will see me there since it is close to my house, I want to try more of the flavors and the bobas are delicious. read more

Finally a good boba spot in the valley! Clean, easy parking, and the owner is incredibly kind. Very good at recommending items based off your likes. They have coffee too, not just smoothies and milk tea. If you like fruity, I recommend mango watermelon and berry, a mix the owner suggested. I've have mixed opinions on this place. I've gone before and had a great drink with fresh boba and wonderful customer service. However, I took my friend here a couple weeks ago and had a terrible experience. There was a new employee I hadn't seen before (a young guy) who seemed annoyed that he had to come to the register and take our order. We had to explain our order to him a few times because he didn't understand or wasn't listening. Both my friend and I wanted lychee jelly in our drink but she ended up with lychee flavored tea and regular boba and I got the popping boba (which I really don't like). Awesome boba place ! I live right nearby and stop there nearly every day after school. Drinks are so good and they are not stingy on the boba in the drinks. There are typically two guys working there now know us and our familiar with our drink choices. My brother usually gets the cookies and cream smoothie and I will usually mix the flavors and get a honeydew and cantaloupe. The price of a regular drink $4 and to upgrade to a large is only $4.50.
