Front of Bulgogi & Ramen Kiosk

Omg...everyone must try the Hotteok!!! (Pronounced Hot-tuk).... This is literally one of tastiest sweet guilty treats I've ever had. It reminds me of deep fried chewy mochi donut pancakes dipped in a little chocolate and light syrup--it's so unique and I'm surprised it's considered a "street food" in Korea. This is rarely available and we got extremely lucky Bulgogi & Ramen opened up just 4 minutes away from us. My family and I also loved the fried chicken dumplings. The portion is humongous and enough to share with at least 4 people. The elderly woman with super powers who works there (she was on her own when I visited for the first time) is very sweet and generous. She felt bad that the restaurant was out of beef and some other items I wanted to try, so she gave me some samples to try while I waited. She's like the mom and grandmother anyone would be lucky to have! This food kiosk is located inside the rustic Vail Headquarters food court next to Kohl's. It's such a cool, trendy spot that hip college kids would love so I'm surprised that it's not as busy, but we will definitely be back!!!

Rarely do I ever get excited about writing any review but this one is an exception. To be honest, I don't even like people but i Absolutely love the owner. I now understand why others would speak so highly of her but she really is so kind and loving. Not only did she deliver our food to our table three times but she took the time to talk to us and made sure we were enjoying ourselves, and it was genuine. It wasn't quick small talk but more like someone who cared. I was not expecting the portions. They were huge! The bulgogi had to be the softest and most flavorful I've ever had and I've been to Korea! The dumplings were soft and stuffed with chicken. It's good enough to feed three to four people easily. And you can't go wrong with a seafood pancake. Newly opened just a month ago, I hope this place really thrives. They are definitely deserving of it. So good. Happy eats (:

Ramen was very tasty, mild was not spicy at all. Enough to share. The nice lady who helped us made our order fresh and also gave my child a little surprise. Next time we will try the bulgogi. This is located inside the cook house at vail HQ, inside was clean and everyone was just opening when we arrived. Family dining hall style seating. The kimchi was wonderfully made, I should have added some of the seasoning or sauces available at the counter to the broccoli, it was cooked nicely but I wanted more from it. The broth was hearty and tasted like a nice home made soup on a cold day. The dumplings in the soup added a nice little extra texture and complimenting flavor to the overall dish.

I was looking for a new place to eat and this place caught my eye. It's very new and I love Korean food. I'd never had the cinnamon ginger drink before and I very much enjoyed it. It's sweet and kinda like apple cider with ginger that lingers in the back ground. We also ordered a banana smoothie, she made to much and gave us 2 glasses. It was on the thinner side, but very tasty and refreshing. They make their own kimchi and sides, no premixed or store bought here. The pork lunch special was delicious, slightly spicy, very flavorful and grilled perfectly, I think I'll order it spicy next time and the bibimbap was so good, and perfect with the 2 fried eggs on top. Perfectly seasoned and delicious food. We loved this place and will be coming back shortly! The chef, was wonderful, very attentive and a beautiful person! Thank you so much!

    Hotteok (sweet rice flour pancake)

I stumbled upon this little food stall as my wedding venue was around the area. I had already had a small lunch but I saw that hotteok was on the menu!! It's so rare to see any restaurant have this on their menus nowadays so I ordered the minimum which was 2. And the owner made it from scratch!!!! She makes it from sweet rice flour so it's extra chewy and delicious. It was extremely fresh and hot! With just the right amount of sweetness in the middle. Not to mention it was huge!!! The owner was so so sweet and generous. She generally warms my heart with her kindness. I would definitely come by again to try the other things on the menu.

    Pork Bulgogi

This was the most delicious Korean food I have ever had! The pork bulgogi was so flavorful and came with a huge portion and delicious sides of kimchi (the best I've had), rice, and sesame mung bean sprouts. The food takes about 15-20 minutes to be prepared because it's real, delicious food. Absolutely worth the wait. I can't wait to come back here and try more dishes. It is inside of a cute little food court with a bar. Cool place to hang out!

Food is cooked fresh, made to order, so please keep this in mind when you are waiting for your food. Service is good, the lady who makes the food is so sweet, she reminds me of my grandmother. I see her back there cooking her heart out and the food is made with love, you can taste it. I had the bulgogi, it was delicious! Ambiance is nice, it's in the Vail HQ food hall. The place is packed when they have events. I highly recommend!

A small mom and pop place inside in a little food court at Vail Headquarters owed by the nicest lady I've ever met. Very helpful and accommodating and always checking if everything is good. Servings are surprisingly large so each item is good for sharing. Come hungry. Was even given donuts and beansprout banchan freebie after our meal. Would definitely come back!!

This is a great place when you are looking for some traditional Korean food and don't want to drive too far...... Located in a food court but every unit there seems very unique, the owner (grandma) is so busy and still very nice , Food is very delicious!! The portion is big !!

Pork, kimchi, sprouts, rice, and my fav pork tofu soup with egg

Everything I ate was delicious, I had the pork with kimchi, sprouts, two cups of rice, and pork tofu soup (my fav)! It was big portions I couldn't even finished it all lol, definitely good for 2 ppl. The kimchi had a subtle sweet bbq taste which I'm not use to and I like it so much! The service was amazing the chef was such a sweet caring lady, gave us cookies right after and straight up a bag of puff chips lol! She even said thank you when I was taking the picture of the whole meal. The ambiance definitely didn't look "professional" however on the contrary it certainly grabbed my attention and lured me in to think this place is probably good and definitely was lol Definitely coming back to try other things

Pork cutlet with spaghetti o sauce on top

This place is garbage. $15.99 for some cup a noodle ramen. Pork cutlet, it's like they added spaghettio's sauce all over it. I'll never come back

    Jajangmyeon with pork and onions

Cozy little spot at Vail Ranch. Sweet funny hardworking Korean lady who makes some good comfort food. The grilled meat options are better eaten at the restaurant. Love the spicy pork belly, galbi, and jajangmyeon. Next time will try the tteokbokki! Cold noodle very tasty and got it again to go! Sure, the cold noodle broth and buckwheat noodles are not handmade like the other Yelper mentioned, but she preps the extra ingredients and noodles for me so easy to eat and hits the spot.

I'm visiting for the second time, and I remembered this place having some of the best meat I've…read moreever had at a KBBQ restaurant. The cuts were high quality and not overloaded with fat. For some reason, I just never made it back here; probably because the Promenade area isn't usually along our route. Coming here tonight genuinely brightened my day. I had just finished a long shift and a commute, and all I wanted was a good, comforting meal. My nutritionist told me yesterday need to significantly increase my protein intake to help reduce muscle loss related to my autoimmune thyroid condition. KBBQ seemed like the perfect choice; lots of protein without a lot of unnecessary junk. On my way home, I stopped at two other KBBQ restaurants. Apparently, I was unaware of the unspoken rule that some places don't serve parties of one on weekends. One restaurant even had me wait 25 minutes before telling me they wouldn't seat a solo diner during the weekend. Unfortunately, my husband is currently deployed, so being a party of one isn't exactly a choice for me right now! Normally, dining alone doesn't bother me at all, but today it got to me. I was exhausted and simply wanted a comforting meal. Being turned away after waiting 25 minutes just because I by myself was the last thing I needed. When I called this restaurant, the owner or manager immediately answered and was incredibly friendly. He explained that they offer entrée and plate options for guests who aren't doing the all-you-can-eat menu. I honestly don't understand why more restaurants don't offer this. I know the food industry is competitive and businesses have to make money, but having options for solo diners makes such a difference. When I arrived, I received wonderful service right away, and there was no wait, but they were full. The owner or manager recognized me as the person who had called earlier and went out of his way to make me feel welcome since we found out we're from the same area. He even added a little surprise to my order simply out of kindness. The entire staff was friendly, professional, and attentive. In an area with no shortage of restaurants, I want to give this place the credit it deserves, not only for the excellent food, but for the heart behind the business. Today, I'm especially grateful for the kindness and generosity shown to me. You never know what someone may be going through, and a simple act of thoughtfulness can make a bigger impact than you realize. His kindness truly lifted my spirits after a long and difficult day. I believe this is a small family-owned business, and they absolutely deserve the support of the community. Great food is easy to find; genuine hospitality is much harder to come by. I'll definitely be back!

Although the choices are very limited, they offer the typical meat options that people would normally get at other locations. The menu states that there's a limit on the marinated short ribs, but the worker said that we could get as much as we wanted. The ventilation could definitely be better, but it didn't bother us that much. Our favorite part was that they provided FREE ice cream at the end of our meal which was a pleasant surprise. * Beef Brisket: 9/10 - cooks the fastest and pairs nicely with the brisket sauce * Bulgogi Beef: 9/10 - nicely marinated and tender * Beef Short Ribs: 9/10 - the best choice, but we were curious as to why it didn't come with the bones * Ice Cream: 10/10 - perfect dessert after such a very meal The place is a good size and can fit a large number of booths and grills. We came when they first opened so the workers were quite attentive, but it might be different during hectic dinner times. They're located in a small lot with the gas station and other shops so parking might be tough. Considering this is one of the few KBBQ places in the area, we were happy with our experience and would definitely consider coming back!

Noodle consistency is great with their Blaze or Classic ramen options, as the broth tends to be a little thicker and creamier than the Shoyu option.
