I usually come here when I wanna relive my childhood memories. This spot has been around since I was a kid. I feel like their food has always been the same and hasn't changed. Bun Bo Hue isn't the best here, but it still hits the spot! I like how the Bun Bo Hue Dac Biet comes with so many toppings and you can replace an item with more of something else! I also like their Banh Nam.

The restaurant is clean and service efficient and the food comes out quickly and hot. If you are in the mood for blood this is your place! Their menu is not large, which makes choosing easy, with a majority of dishes geared towards blood as their special ingredient.

Got recommended by my Vietnamese friend on their Banh Beo. I totally love it, the bite size of warm rice cake combined with minced shrimp and delicious sauce. I also tried their Bun Bo Hue. The portion is small compared to other restaurants and the meat is not tender. The soup is good and flavorful though. The place is not too big but the staff is very friendly and nice. The restaurant is also clean! I definitely recommend their authentic Banh Beo!!

Honestly torn writing this review because the service here was great. The staff was very friendly from the moment we walked in but unfortunately, the food fell a bit short for me. Bun bo hue - 6/10 Let it be known that im a harsh critic when it comes to bun bo hue since its my favourite vietnamese dish but the broth here just did not hit. It was missing the signature balance of sweet, salty and spicy that makes bun bo hue so flavourful and comforting on a cold day. On the positive side, the meat portion was generous and very tender. The hock though did not have much meat on it. Banh beo - 6/10 rice cake itself felt a bit too dense and the ratio of meat topping seemed off. Mi quang - 5/10 again generous with the meat that was cooked perfectly but tasted very plain overall.

First time here with my siblings. Their Banh Canh is pretty good. Make sure to squeeze some lemons.

Such a small homey spot for BBH! My mom and I are huge Bun Bo Hue lovers so we stopped by to try this place. The parking lot was small, but we scored a spot. The staff are so kind and attentive and were quick with taking our order as well as bringing our dishes! They were generous with the veggies with many different types of veggies and herbs we could add. The broth was light but full of flavor. I will be dropping by here more for BBH!!

First time here and I was craving a bowl of bun bo hue really badly. This place did not disappoint. The soup was flavorful and had lots of components but the meat could be more tender and it would have been perfect. Service was fast and the lady is very sweet. I could see myself coming back here.

The name of the restaurant was what got me intrigued. Had to check them out. The restaurant is small, but clean. The lady that greeted us was pleasant and friendly. Their menu is simple and not extensive in terms of selections. But their specialty is Bun Bo Hue. So of course, that was what I ordered. We also tried their Banh Beo and Com Tam Thit Nuong (BBQ Pork Broken Rice). The Com Tam Thit Nuong was ok. But we enjoyed the Banh Beo and Bun Bo Hue. If you like Bun Bo Hue, you should give them a try.

I enjoyed the broth's flavor and found it very satisfying. I really liked that you can choose your own combination of meats . Some places add too much meat, which can overwhelm the dish, so this felt well balanced. While it's not the most authentic or spicy version you'd find at a dedicated Huế spot, the broth has a slightly sweeter profile that's still enjoyable and comforting.

That's not my car but I wish lol. Bun Bo Way is nestled between the 2 massages, one for combos and the other one is for body.

I been here a couple of times only because I went next door, Healthy Life massage, to get a 90 minute massage. I agree with Cody L., the bun bo hue lacks flavor even when I added more of the chili oil. Compared to the others that I had at other restaurants, this place lacks the flavor. It has a lot of meat but is overcooked and the pork blood is so over cooked, is like a sponge or a dry tofu texture. I also ordered a Thai ice tea and that is not fresh, is from powdered milk. Fresh Thai tea, you can actually taste the black tea, you can tell by the color of it also. The waitress recommended that I tried their new item menu. I didn't know what it was but is basically a summer rolls. It has a sweet pork, sliced cucumbers, carrots a crunchy stick dough and some herbs wrapped in a rice paper. It was ok, they didn't fully wet the rice paper to give it that chewy texture, the rice paper was still dry in most areas and it felt like I was eating paper lol is hard to tear apart and chew. 2 pieces for $6 is kinda pricey, for an unfinished dish, the dipping sauce was ok. If you're ever in my area in La Puente, go to Oh Pho Love, they have the best summer rolls. And their food is really good there. Seems like Bun Bo Way only specializes in noodles, they do have 1 rice dish, the pork chops. Maybe next time, I'll try something else. Or maybe I just need to explore Westminster some more lol

Super yummy bowl of bun bo hue dac biet! The broth was super flavorful and had the perfect level of saltiness. It also comes with a plate of veggies, herbs, and limes on the side for you to dress your bowl to your liking.

    Banh Bèo

Bánh Bèo was hot and had fresh shredded shrimps. The nuoc mắm was perfectly flavored. Bun Bo Hue broth was aromatic and flavorful! Nice BBH fix when I'm too lazy to make it.

My go to BBH in Westminster! This spot is OG. Their broth is piping HOT and flavorful! I love their fresh veggies, and we always get their banh beo, so chewy and good. Everyone's tastebuds are different but I think this place is SOLID. Service is fast and good. A little small inside but good enough for a party of 5/6.

The chicken was crispy and the dipping sauce gave it that extra yummy goodness. The dish also came with a side of broth that had chicken bits in it, was nice to help digest your dish. I also loved that they gave you pickled veggies & fresh veggies. We also ordered the Loi's Fusion Saltado, upgraded the rice to garlic egg fried rice. The beef was soft and tender, the fries were nice and crispy and the fried rice was fresh. You 100% need to get the Thai Tea. A lot of place add too much cream/half and half diluting the tea flavor, they do not skimp on the actual tea in their drink. The color speaks for itself on the dark orange hue!

I'm a bit late getting around to writing this, and unfortunately, they are already closed, but I still felt like I had to share my experience. I'm not completely surprised that they closed, especially after trying their bò né. I've had this dish many times at different places around Orange County, and unfortunately, this was probably the weakest version I've come across. The first thing that stood out was the presentation. As you can see in the picture, there was this purple-colored sauce on the meat itself, which honestly did not look very appetizing. To make things worse, the sauce was cold and did not heat in time with the skillet, which really took away from the experience. The flavor itself wasn't terrible, but it also wasn't anything memorable. It was just okay, and when you factor in the cold food and the presentation, it made the whole dish disappointing. With so many places around Orange County serving bò né at a much higher level, I would probably recommend spending your money elsewhere. If you were wondering whether you missed out on some hidden gem, don't worry, you didn't. This one felt more like a piece of coal than a diamond. That being said, every restaurant has its journey, and with more time, maybe they could have found their footing. Hopefully, they can take this experience as a lesson, refine their recipes, and bring something better in their next venture. I am rooting for you Loi!

The last time I visited on a Monday, the lot was completely full, and I ended up parking on the street. The restaurant is also primarily cash only, so come prepared. They open early, making it a perfect breakfast spot for an early bowl of pho. The pho broth is exactly what I want when I'm craving comfort food--clean, flavorful, and incredibly soothing. However, the star of the meal for me was the chả giò. Wow. Although they arrived after our pho, they came out at the perfect temperature. I was hesitant to take a bite right away because freshly fried food usually burns my mouth, but these were just right. Crispy, airy, savory, and absolutely delicious. Paired with their fish sauce, it was perfection. I enjoyed the egg rolls so much that next time I'm definitely ordering the egg roll vermicelli bowl.
