Came for midnight eating. It's my 2nd time eating here. Ordered their Iftar special $18. *The boti chicken and sheik kabob was over tenderized. The sheik kabob texture was not plump or juicy, it looked flat and disintegrate, didn't taste like real kabob. Chicken boti was over tenderized and mushy. *The chicken tandoori was ok *The puri and naan was good *Burgers are ok, you can tell they use frozen beef *They have improved their drink and sauce counters. I have not seen a South Asian person running the kitchen. It's important that the main chef checks the quality of food being prepared. The place is clean. This is one of few places i eat at on rotation. The meat is jucy and has nice heat. I usually get a wrap with garlic nan, beef kabab, beef boti, chicken boti or chicken breast. All very good. Also, the staff seem friendly. read more

My second time here and just about week ago, I had lunch with my colleague. The food was amazing and I can't stop thinking to coming back. Awesome traditional BBQ, which obviously would be zabiha halal. We were visiting from Seattle and really wanted to experience the traditional food that we crave of and bundoo Khan won't disappoint you. Loved it. If you are used to of South Asian traditional BBQ experience, this is a treat, very comparable to the best that's found there. If you havent tried this before but like mild or higher spicy BBQ, it's hard to find a comparable option. Every thing was amazing, kababs, bihari boti, parathas, falooda and the chatnis (aka sauces) et al. Loved the attention towards great customer experience i.e. trying to address any missed orders etc. especially when it's super crowded. Please keep it up and would love for you to open a branch in Seattle. Really looking forward to it. read more

A decent spot for tasty Pakistani style cuisine which I hardly ever see around! The chicken boti was seasoned well. I'll admit, a bit too sour & salty for my taste, but it was good especially paired with the Naan bread and chutney to complement it. Portions for what we ordered seemed just enough for the two of us. And you can't forget their massive yummy mango ice cream for dessert! Given how late they're open, they seem to be busier during the dinner rush so finding seating maybe difficult but luckily the food seemed to come out in a more timely manner when I was there. Came here w my Pakistan friend who wanted us to try her type of food. We were excited. Came on a Sunday for lunch. 8 of us. The way this place is, you order your food & pay upfront. Than go find a table/booth seats. You're given a buzzer and will be buzzed once your food is ready. Service and associate are friendly. Lots of parking available and next to Wing stop & The Habit burger to name a few. Food was a bit of a wait since we came during noon lunch rush hour. This is my second time at this place. I just wanted some proteins so I ordered the chicken breast and some naan. The chicken was moist and juicy. Flavor wise it was seasoned well. I tried both sauces the green and the brown one, they were ok but they were both too over powering for the chicken, a little bit goes a long way. I would recommend the garlic naan as well. read more

post: I had a pick up order from this restaurant. It was the beef kabab roll and unfortunately had a very bad experience. While the atmosphere and service initially seemed fine, the food itself was extremely disappointing -- and concerning. Within hours of eating there, I developed severe food poisoning symptoms that lasted for days. It was not only uncomfortable but genuinely alarming. I'm confident it was from this meal, as it was the only new food I had eaten that day. Food safety should be the absolute minimum standard for any establishment, and this experience fell far below that. I hope the management takes this seriously, reviews their food handling practices, and ensures this doesn't happen to anyone else. I cannot recommend this place based on my experience. read more

Did a pickup order.. it was ready in timely fashion. Ordered rolls and kebabs (chicken and beef). I preferred rolls over just kebabs because kebabs are just not holding up on their own; and I have had plenty of kebabs from mediterranean, middle eastern, Turkish, Indian, Pakistani. Now the rolls are good nothing fantastic or different. Paratha is little too much in proportion to fillings. Price was another issue,., bit spendy for a store that just specializes in bbq/kebab style food. read more

I was excited to try out the esteemed breakfast here at Bundoo Khan. I have had similar breakfasts at other places and think that flavor wise, the same item is available at the Hotspot Grill in Tustin with better flavors. However, Bundoo Khan wins with regards to the portion sizes. Wow. We ordered way too much food and were not expecting the breakfast portions to be so generous. (Other menu items are not huge portions so don't plan on sharing if you're looking to order other items). As opposed to Hotspot, they offer two puris here which is nice because one is truly not enough to get through all the items that are served with breakfast. They have some interesting ice cream flavors on the menu. The highlight for me was the lauki halwa - wow!! It was so rich and decadent and isn't something you'll find probably anywhere else in SoCal. The naan was reminiscent of a garlic bread in flavor. Out of the breakfast items, I found the potato dish (aloo) to be the tastiest alongside the halwa. I thought their halwa was also pretty notable compared to other suji halwas I've sampled. The most disappointing part of my experience was.......... The Desi omelette. I was so confused.. maybe they spelled Denny's wrong because I couldn't identify a single Desi thing about it. Again, Hotspot Grill takes the cake and does a fabulous Desi omelette. I would not order it here. Hopefully this is something that can change because it would be really nice to know that there is another place that offers such a tasty take on an egg. But know that for now, this is a misnomer and the egg you shall receive will be seasoned hesitantly with salt at best and a stingy sprinkle of green onions. A runner up for disappointment was the paratha. Let me know if you're able to spot the difference in the picture attached. I was truly let down in my hopes and wouldn't have ordered it had I known that that is what they laughably refer to as a paratha. Even a paratha from the frozen foods section would be preferable to that. I would recommend paying a visit for some good kabobs/meats! Love that they offer Raita and chutney to accompany your meals as well. The space is really lovely and has a clean look. Great seating availability indoors and outdoors (at the front and back of the restaurant). Unfortunately, when I came in there was a smelly hit of a stench in the front by the doors (where the restroom was). I would like to assume that it is not always like this but it was quite a pungent and memorable scent. read more

The owner and staff are extremely helpful, welcoming, and kind. He even gave my mom a free falooda upon hearing it is her birthday soon! The overall set up and concept of the store is also very innovative and lively, while still upholding the traditional essence of Bundoo Khan. The food was very flavourful and it felt as if we were back in Pakistan for a few short hours. The meat items (chicken tikka, bihari kabob, seekh kabob) were tender, juicy, tasty, and cooked very well. The dessert items were delicious and very authentic, particularly the kulfi and gajar halwa. The brunch is really delicious! My dad makes the BEST channa and potatoes so I seldom find a decent comparison. I guess there's a first time for everything, because Bundoo Khan's brunch is ON POINT! The Halwa is delicious especially in combination with the rest of breakfast, then again I like mixing spicy and sweet! The puri's are delicious, a little oily but nothing a dab of a tissue can't solve! Beef Kabob are smaller than usual but I suspect this is why they remain tender while cooking! Very supple and totally worth it! The chicken boti and keema are good but if it wasn't on the table I wouldn't miss it! The bottomless "desi chai" is a MAJOR PLUS, us brown people love an endless cup throughout our meal! The falooda shake is also good, though I've had better. Process: 1) Grab a table 2) Place your order and pay at the register 3) Grab plates, plastic cutlery, tons of napkins and chutney at the self serve section (right side of the "fountain" drinks) 4) Pay attention to your # being called out, grab your food from the counter! 5) Enjoy! BONUS: The food is served in plastic "to go" containers, such a smart business decision! Totally cuts down on dishes, labor and water waste! Making the process of taking left overs home super easy! PRO TIP: Come early (10am) if you want to avoid major crowds! My cousin-sister is fantastic at implementing this with the family (especially me since I have the tendency to run late to everything)! While visiting the area and yearning for some authentic Pakistani food, I came here for kabob... this was some of the best kabob I've had in a long time. All the meats were tender and flavorful, while also being perfectly spiced! The naan was really nice and also didn't come with oil or butter on them - which is what I prefer. Their yogurt chutney was nicely done and the service was actually pretty decent, especially considering they were very busy when we stopped in. This place get packed, so get there early! Food was not good at all. Chicken malai tikka was not cooked properly it was raw inside. As well as lamb chop was half burned and raw inside. porata was too crispy. Garlic nan was too hard. We were missing items and had to keep asking for the missing dishes. While serving food the cashier never mentioned that some dishes were missing. We had to figure out ourselves the which and how many missing dishes. And especially the cashier was not friendly at all. She was getting annoyed while taking because our order was big.
