Wow, these cakes are the best! I originally was given a box as a thank you gift and boy did they blow me away. Lemon and Red Velvet were my favorite. Yesterday I received another box for my birthday...I tried the Vanilla and Pineapple...woohoo...never thought I could like Vanilla so much! I was never really a fan of bundt cakes, but now these I love. I have read some of the other reviews and in my opinion they are the right amount of sweetness, perfectly moist and just all around good! Service is was great, although the music was a little loud and it was hard to hear and focus on giving the person behind the counter my order. Other than that it was a great experience. Decided to do something different for my wife's birthday so I thought we'd try bundt cakes. I order a 9-box variety and oh my goodness we were hooked! Unfortunately, with Covid, there are a lot of unavailable flavors, but we have tried every regular flavor and can't get enough. Any time we have had a friend or family member over I have purchased either a 9-box variety or a 13-box variety and they are usually gone within a couple hours. I was going to order cupcakes but my usual place was closed during COVID. I'm so glad I read the reviews and tried BOM. I ordered 2 dozen assorted flavors and they were amazing! The flavors were so fresh and perfectly moist. I much prefer the small dollop of perfectly paired icing over the full spread on a cupcake. Jeffrey the owner was so charming and helpful. The presentation was beautiful and inside cover had small labels for the different flavors. They were a big hit! Price breaks made them a great bargain compared to cupcakes in my opinion. read more

I love that they're opened on Sundays! Their bundts are always light and fluffy but I do wish they weren't glazed.... They're overly sweet with the glaze. My preference is just to have the cake and dollop if frosting on the top. read more

First time coming in, it's next to an ice cream shop I've been too and told myself I would be back to try it out. It's a small shop, the two people there were very nice and helpful. They had 9 flavors at the time. They have 3 for $8 but I got 6 for $13. The strawberry lemonade flavor was very good, sweet but a little bit of a tart flavor. The cheesecake flavor was really good also. My son liked the red velvet and chocolate. I give it a 4 starts because the service and price was great. Taste was great BUT, I would have like a bit more variety. Maybe they don't sell much so they don't have a lot of flavors? Not sure but overall it was good. read more

Super cute place, I've past it many times before but never went in. Today I did and I'm glad I did. They have many different flavors to choose from. My kids and husband really enjoyed the bite size bunt cakes. I will be coming back to try other flavors. I never been a fan of cakes or anything really sweet. So for me to even try to eat a bundt cake is definitely a once in a life time type deal. I ran into this business when they had a booth at an event in Long Beach. The lady at the booth was so nice and offered me to try out one of the bundt cakes. I was hesitant at first because I knew that I probably would not like it at all but I gave it a chance. I tried the cookies and cream bundt and oh my gosh it was to die for. I have never tasted someone so delicious. It wasn't too sweet or decadent and the frosting was just right for the size of the cake. They were so small and cute I wanted to take them all with me. I was craving for sweets one day and Frosted cupcakes was too far away. I found Bundts on Melrose through yelp and asked my boyfriend to take me. I am used to eating at Nothing Bundt Cakes so I wasn't expecting it to be as good as the successful franchise. Upon entering, we were greeted by a couple who kindly told us to let them know of any questions we may have. There were plenty of flavors to choose from and I opted for the cookies and cream, red velvet, and German chocolate. I noticed a lot of people mention the high prices but I actually thought it was a deal! Haha. I think it was 3 mini bundts for $5? I guess the price doesn't really matter to me wherever I go. I'll spend the money if the quality is excellent. What really bothered me was the look of the store. I really hope that this place goes through some type of remodeling or decoration. It was very plain to me. You walk in and there's the counter, the fridge with the cakes, and empty walls. Maybe it needs a paint job, a couple flowers, other stuff to sell, and ta-da! What gets me coming back is the atmosphere of the businesses and the quality and service of their products. The bundts here are actually very good! The frosting for all three were perfect. I especially loved the German chocolate cake. All bundts were very moist and delicious. The only con about the bundt is that it is too sweet. I opened the bundt in half and used a spoon to scoop from the middle. Why? The entire bunt is dipped in a glaze and it makes the cake extremely sweet so that was my way of avoiding it. I think they're better off without dunking the entire thing in glaze. The frosting is enough sweetness and the outer shell puts the sugar level way too high. If they remove the glaze, maybe I'll frequent this place more. Oh, and cuter decor, too! That should lure me in. read more

The lemon is awesomely delicious!! I'm not one that likes cupcakes very much, they're ok, just not my thing. I first tried these when a coworker brought them for a birthday. I had the most delicious moist lemon Bundt. The next week I took my daughter and her friend. We chose to get the bakers dozen so we could pick out a few flavors to try. We tried vanilla, cinnamon, German chocolate, strawberry lemonade, white chocolate strawberry( which was actually the next day's flavor of the day)and a coconut one that I can't remember but was the flavor of that day. They were all moist and flavorful and the customer service was great. We will definitely be returning whenever we get a cake craving. read more

Went to Bundts on Melrose to pick up an assortment on Saturday night, a 6 pack of minis went with me to a friends place in Belmont. After a great dinner at Magic Lamp (that's another review), we went back to the house and halved the assortment and shared amongst the three of us. Orange got rave reviews, lemon was very lemony, a good thing. I also favored the German Chocolate. Super moist cakes and sweet as well. Definitively a sweet dessert. Enjoy! The miniature bundt cakes are now $2 a pop, meaning that the smallest box is now $6!!! The cakes are not sold individually. It felt like only two weeks ago I was there - oh wait, I was...and it was only $5 then. Well it felt like Bundts On Melrose increased its prices overnight; $1 makes a significant difference, especially considering that they're for miniature bundt cakes. Now, I wouldn't mind if things like jewelery, handbags or shoes increased by a dollar, but come on, an increase on already pricey miniature bundt cakes? Because of the hefty price increase, (on something that isn't really worth the increase) that's minus one star from me. On the flip side there's a new flavor added: maple bacon! Handy's had some samples of these heavenly mini bundts and I practically busted through the wall next door to buy what I could. They. Are. Amazing.
