High top tables outside, al fresco on a narrow side patio, and a bar with TV screens and glass partition is what greets you on entry so reads more sports bar than Bistro but covers rent likely. Bit grubby feeling on entry and throughout experience from reading Menu to WC visit; pricing not in line with ambience/ethereal experience. Food quality we tried was good enough but would be happier paying if surrounds were more vividly appealing. We visited early in a Saturday night. The restaurant is located in Camp Lowell behind the gas station. There was only one server, but she was friendly. I tried the lobster ravioli which was a generous size and included a few shrimps and garlic bread. It was pretty rich, but my pasta was a little too chewy. My husband ordered the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich which was also pretty big with French fries, which he said was really good. I'll definitely try the pizza next time. We just ordered a large BZ Special pizza and it's fantastic! They all come as thin crust and they make their own dough-very crispy yet foldable. Loved the abundance of extra large pepperonis and Italian sausage - the flavor was superb. Sprinkled in along the meat was the mushroom, onion and bell pepper, all perfectly cooked. Im not sure what the laws are for having dogs in eating establishments are, but I'm sure letting dogs sit at the bar where people drink and eat would be a fo. I think allowing pets inside of a food establishment is already pushing the limits. Allowing a dog to sit at the bar on a bar stool while scratching itself is gross and unappetizing. We decided to try this place, hunting for the best pizza in town. While it wasn't the best, it was pretty good. It was about 2 pm on a Friday afternoon. It was pretty quiet. Our server, Cymantha was a gem. She was always checking on us, making sure we had what we needed and everything was prepared to our satisfaction. The place is in a shopping center, so it wasn't super fancy. It was basically a sports bar with Italian food. I had a half raspberry salad minus the raspberries (I hate them but I liked the other ingredients). It was good. We ordered the BZ special minus the green peppers and onions on only half. Sausage, pepperoni and mushrooms on the entire pizza. The kitchen was a little careless about the onion placement (I hate them, hubby loves them), so I had to pick some off of my side. The mushrooms seemed a little old or overcooked. The pizza flavor was good and had a nice thin crust. Two cokes, a half salad and large pizza was $42.67 before tip. Credit card charge was $44.16 before tip. I hate that places are charging extra for credit cards. Most people pay that way. It's part of doing business. Some companies started it and everyone seems to follow suit. Raise your prices to include those charges so the ones that used credit cards don't get penalized. The place was clean, restrooms included. Our table was cleared of used plates and glasses promptly. Overall a decent experience. Will we go back? Probably not. It's a 45 minute drive for us and we have better pizza places closer to us. They had a decent menu, with pastas, salads and wings. If I am in the area, I may return for something else other than pizza. Don't let my review lead you away from this place. My salad was mixed greens, Not the cheep iceberg lettuce, and had a few cashews, dried blueberries and fresh raspberries on it, along with a vinaigrette and raspberry sauce. It was Very Tasty. My only real complaint was the price. For one entrée (split) and a half salad with chicken, plus two sodas, the check was over $40. Far More Expensive than Daddy's budget really allows for these days. It appears most nights they have a few individuals playing instruments for some live music the staff was very friendly and accommodating and provided an excellent explanation of the different meals on the menu. The chicken Parmesan was delicious the chicken was breaded beautifully seasoned full of flavor and the sauce tasted like it came straight out of grandma's pot. Bz's new location is such an improvement over their previous location. This one is roomy and the artwork ads to the ambiance. The food we had on our two recent visits was fantastic. The wait staff was pleasant and fun to interact with. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because the service was slow the weekday we were there.....one cook, and one waitress who was greeting, seating, bussing, bartending, taking orders and serving. We were first time dinners last Friday and started with the bacon wrapped Jalapeño poppers. They were delicious with the house filling and dip. I arrived on a Sunday with a few friends to watch the football games. The place had at least five TVs. I had the wings and they were excellent. They appeared to be fried then grilled. The blue cheese dressing could be better though, the dressing was thin. My friends had the individual pizzas and they said they were excellent. Good price on beer during the NFL games and good food. Tasty! Tasty pizza! Yes, I would recommend BZ's pizza. It is New York style thin crust, The ingredients they use are fresh and deli style. The pepperoni is large. The sauce is very good and I really like the crust. BZ's is a sports bar/brewery, so it is not a great family atmosphere with 7 or so TV's blaring different games going on. It is mostly a bar. There is outside dining, however, and that would be suitable for the fam. But just order and pick it up and enjoy it at home if the sports bar scene isn't for you. The pizza is totally worth it. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind.
