The French onion soup and the pot stickers were the perfect amount for a light lunch. The salmon was light, shrimp well seasoned, and ahi tuna stack was super creamy and paired well with the taro chips. The lobster bisque was also very creamy and rich. My sister enjoyed her poke and was able to eat the very generous portion. Calamari was crispy and had a great tangy dipping sauce. Came here for the first time Sun 9.7.25 approx 12pm. Food was as I thought it would be pretty expensive for the view. Ordered 2 entrees for 2 people the Blackened Chicken Sandwich and Chicken Picatta. The Chicken Picatta came out quick BUT the Blackened Chicken Sandwich came out wayyy after (approx 15-20 min). And when it came out we noticed the chicken wasnt even Blackened was jus plain in the taste and look. We didnt wana complain to our waiter cuz he was so very nice and attentive. Went here on Valentine's Day and had a disappointing experience with the hostess (the woman with the colorful outfit, heavy eyeliner makeup, and unfriendly look). When checking in, I politely requested a table near the water. She responded with a dismissive attitude, saying that there were "1,000 people coming through tonight" and that tables had already been assigned. Well, I was the first to arrive and many tables were empty until I left at 5:30pm, you could have done something but you didn't even try so learn how to deliver your verbiage professionally because I don't care how many ppl come through tonight, as a paying customer, I paid for this service, 1000ppl is your issue. Do not whine at your job. The bread was poorly presented, the server came out with a big steel pan of breads, too lazy to even transfer to a bread basket. Lobster bisque was terrific but waited for half an hour for the entree. Pork chop was good but wasn't as good as last year's, the surface of the pork was not torched and caramelized like last year. They went cheap on the dessert and made us share one tiny size dessert for two yet the server claimed "it's a big portion." Lol. Desserts aren't that expensive- c'mon now, just classic red velvet and chocolate cake that you can buy in bulk at Costco. Regardless of the occasion, treat your customers with respect. We paid $40 in tip, learn to like your job better or work at McDonald. yes I meant you, the hostess or I think she was a supervisor or manger given her colorful parrot outfit. We made reservations and were seated right away, a few people waiting in the front lobby. There's plenty of parking in the lot shared with maybe 2 other business. If you have the time, I strongly suggest that you enjoy a walk along the water after. Now for the food.. we started with an order of shrimp aguachile which was pretty good. The fried artichokes however were life changing. I've never had any prepared that way and I think everywhere should take notes from this place. We also got a half dozen of mixed oysters which were fresh and pretty standard in a positive way. I ordered the seafood pasta, wife got steak tip salad and my mom got fish tacos. Literally everything sold here is delicious and portions that you wouldn't believe. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the check. I felt like they forgot something but it was all there. Met for a business lunch after a very successful customer meeting where we nailed some great new orders well into 2025. Time to eat some good food to celebrate. Since it was a business lunch, I did not take any pictures of the food, only the great view we had looking off of the patio. I ordered the C-Level Louie Salad. Blue crab, rock shrimp, butter lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, red onion, cucumber, egg, capers, thousand island dressing. I asked for the dressing on the side so I could monitor the amount used instead of just being flooded with dressing which happens a lot and I dislike strongly. We all got our meals and everyone was impressed with the presentations, the amount of food and how everything tasted. My salad was excellent and I would order again when I return. It is not the traditional Crab Louie salad, but a nice variation that is their own. Get it. Very good. I likey. Fish and chips: (4/5) not beer battered and is panko breaded. It is a thin breading, so the fish itself was a big piece. I wish there was slightly more taste to the fish but it was cooked well. Paired well with the Parmesan fries! Seafood pasta: (4.5/5) surprised by this dish! Chewy but still soft pappardelle coupled with a lot of the pesto cream. I'd say this was the best dish out of all the ones we tried. Cherry tomatoes give a nice sweetness to the dish. Mussel pot: (4.5/5) really good dish, especially if you dip the ciabatta in the cream sauce. The taste of the arugula and the onion pair really well with the mussels. I wish the bread was a bit softer though as you did have to dip it a bit or else it was on the harder side. Wagyu burger: (4/5) cooked medium rare as requested and was large. It can get very messy so I'd suggest eating with a fork or knife unless you want to wash your hands in the bathroom afterwards. Solid burger but I would stick with seafood-focused dishes next time. Coconut shrimp: (4/5) tasty one-biters. I didn't really taste the horseradish in the dipping sauce but it had a good sweetness to it. We made reservations for the outside area, it was very casual and we were seated on the parking lot side unfortunately. The lobster BLT was packed with a ridiculous amount of lobster and the lobster bisque on the side was heavenly. The menu is limited and not particularly creative. Both of us got an entree recommended by the server. We were both disappointed. My wife did not like her herb crusted salmon. She said it lacked flavor and was cold. I got the fish and chips, which were pretty mediocre. I had good oysters as an appetizer. My wife's salad was fine too. The service was very uneven. Our waiter was very pleasant. The food runners dropped the food off so quickly, they didn't want to hear when my wife asked for salt and pepper, when i asked for tabasco, or when i wanted malt vinegar. We had to wait to get the servers attention, which took some time. Happened to be restaurant week so some of the family ordered the prix fixe menu while others from the regular menu. Started off with the ahi, crab, avocado stack and calamari. Both were delicious. Entrees included lobster mac, seafood pasta, and louie salad. Again, all very good. Ended the meal with their signature dessert, the "Island Mud Pie". I would give place a 3.5. My friend and I picked this place after seeing the high review and the beautiful view it has. However, we both agreed that the view is definitely better than the food. Ahi Tuna & Salmon Poke: very disappointed with this, the fish and ingredients are fresh; HOWEVER, the sushi rice is super soft, soggy, and sticky. We couldn't even mix everything thoroughly because the rice all sticked together.The rice ruined the entire dish. They definitely need to improve on the water to rice ratio. Also, I don't think this is worth the price. Not recommended. Chilled Seafood Platter: since my friend and I arrived late at night (8:30pm), they ran out of oysters, so we went ahead and substituted with more salmon. The seafood was fresh, especially the shrimps. Our favorite part of the platter was definitely shrimps, they were lightly seasoned. Very tender and juicy. The avocado that came with the mini ahi tuna stack has a really strange taste (definitely overripe and not fresh). In the end, my friend and I didn't finish both ordered items. For the price that we paid, I think C Level needs to work on their ingredients and recipes a bit more. Not sure if we arrived too late, but we waited very long to be served and our server really had trouble seeing us/staying alerted. The busser was more attentive than our server, and she kindly helped to call our server for us. And at one point, I even had to walk up to my server to pay my bill. At our table, the food took FOREVER. We waited almost 15 minutes for our lattes? That should've been the first thing that came out. The skirt steak was okay. The peppers still had seeds on it lol? Poke bowl was mostly rice, and it looked like they just threw whatever crap on it. I'm not sure why that's almost $30. The bussers were moving the utensils so quickly off the table that I swear I was going to get stabbed in the eye by it lol. I wasn't sure whether I was delusional or not but.. the bussers were treating our table with such lack of care. No smile. No warmth. Nothing. Our server was a young black man, he was okay for the most part. He spent a lot of time chatting with an older lady server in the back though.. uh. We were still waiting for our drinks. I tasted a couple of other dishes and everything tasted great. The only thing to consider is that I didn't find that the menu was that adventurous. We came in for a 2.30pm reservation and they were very welcoming even though most of our party was running late. The restaurant has water front seating, and it was beautiful. Our server was great with a fun sense of humor and good suggestions. We got for appetizers the sesame brie, the calamari, and the the coconut shrimp. These were all fine, I liked the brie the best. I do think that they might be a bit too pricey at regular price and you should get them for happy hour. I got the blt, the others at my table got the catch of the day (sea bass), lobster Mac & cheese, fish and chips, chicken sandwich, and the seafood pasta. I think I probably got the best one, and it came highly recommended by our server. The seafood mix was sweet and creamy, like a mix of imitation crab and lobster. It was also quite large, I think the servings here are enough to do without appetizers. I also tried some of the catch of the day and the fish and chips. The sea bass OK the catch of the day was good, but the brocolinni was stringy and hard to chew. The fish on the fish and chips was cooked perfectly, flaky and tender, but perhaps too batter to eat with the fries with are also battered. My table told me that the seafood pasta was good, but the lobster Mac and cheese was too heavy. We also got desserts, the banana split, and ice cream trio. They were fine. The restaurant brought acomplimentary piece of cake for our new grad, it was very appreciated. (it might have been the best dessert at our table) Social hour (3.30pm to 5.30pm) started while we were there, so we got some additional cocktails. They were just fine. C Level Lounge is in an interesting location. C Level Lounge shares the building with Island Prime and is to the left while Island Prime is to the right. Lovely view of San Diego Bay. Steak and fries was based on a New York steak. I ordered it medium and it came out just the way I like it. Steak was tender and I loved the seasoning which was just the right level of salt. Not as tasty as Cowboy Star but very good. Fries were crispy on the outside and had a tasty fried potato flavor. Sorbet trio consisted of coffee ice cream, campaign raspberry, and coconut pineapple ice cream. Coffee ice cream was the same as in the mud pie. I'm not a coffee drinker but the ice cream was delicious and the little chocolate chips gave it a burst of chocolate flavor. Champagne raspberry had a delicious raspberry flavor and I loved the raspberry topper. Coconut pineapple ice cream was rich and creamy with a tasty mix of coconut and pineapple flavor, This was my favorite ice cream. Mud pie had the delicious coffee ice cream as the main flavor. There was a thin layer of Oreo cookie and a thin layer of chocolate ganache giving this treat a delicious mix of flavors. Service was very good. We really enjoyed our Christmas lunch here. read more

C Level is a restaurant we return to frequently. It never disappoints. We caught a gorgeous sunset the other night. The menu is so diversified. Mindy was our meal representative on Saturday evening (Jan 31, 2026). She was pure joy. She was friendly, helpful with our choices and so charismatic. We absolutely loved the Lobster Mac and Cheese as well as a vegan dish that was so flavorful and had a stunning presentation. We went for my birthday and the only good thing was the amazing service. I had the "Healthy skirts on fire salad". The idea was good and it was indeed the kind of plate I was looking for, up until I had my first bite of that skirt steak. Darn was it bad! Marinade/cooking sauce tasted like buffalo wings, vinegary and tasteless. But even worse was the fact that they don't know how to treat their skirt steak. They cut it into sinewy chunks instead of thin slices against the grain. And beware of them sitting you by the cutlery stations where you'll listen to the waiters throwing away the cutlery. They moved us to another table upon request but this shouldn't be an issue. They shouldn't seat people there, period. The whole point of this place is going for average/good food because you'll get great views and therefore an overall good experience. Doesn't meet my expectations. But hey, my POV. read more
