The location is amazing with incredible views of the waterfront, the food is always on point with great flavor and.Top level ingredients. The only aspect better than the food is the service. We always bring friends and family from out of town to C Level for lunch or Island Prime for dinner. I swear two hour walks at the Seaport and then the restaurant. We ordered 3 of the burgers with Caesar Salads, fish n chips, seafood Louie salad, and the coconut shrimp. Everything was so delicious and came out so quickly cooked to perfection. It's C-Level and has always been great. A 4-star because of the seating delay and the ever-rising need to cram in more tables due to its popularity with tourists. Another Cohen Star restaurant but has slipped a little from pre-COVID era. Not cheap but the Asian Fusion cuisine is very good and imaginative. read more

C Level is definitely a high-end, classy restaurant with such an amazing view of the water. We came here without a reservation, and waited for about 45 minutes for a table of 4! Service was fine, nothing too special. We ordered a variety of their dishes, and my favorite has to be the seafood platter. Their salmon, shrimp, and ahi tuna stack was delicious. The salmon was light, shrimp well seasoned, and ahi tuna stack was super creamy and paired well with the taro chips. The lobster bisque was also very creamy and rich. My sister enjoyed her poke and was able to eat the very generous portion. Calamari was crispy and had a great tangy dipping sauce. Lastly, the steak was cooked to perfection and the salad was dressed well, though I personally preferred a little less. Overall, this restaurant has immaculate views with great food. read more

This is by far my favorite restaurant in San Diego. Chef Deborah Scott out does herself every time. Not only does it have a great view, especially if you sit on their heated patio, but the food is absolutely incredible. The Diablo brick chicken is still a fan favorite even if it's not on the menu. Their salads are all recommended. They also have a great tuna melt on the lunch menu. Their Wagyu beef burger is one of the best burgers in San Diego. As far as the meats, skirts on fire is a great skirt steak. But no matter how great the food is, don't forget to leave room for dessert because they have an amazing selection! Their brownie with banana and peanut butter is out of this world. It has peanut butter ice cream and caramelized bananas. A fine time to go here is during the holidays when the holiday parade is going as it passes right past the restaurant. You have to book about a month in advance, but it's fun to watch. I was in town for a wedding and looking for good eats with a nice view. I'd be damned if this place wasn't everything I was looking for. We made reservations and were seated right away, a few people waiting in the front lobby. There's plenty of parking in the lot shared with maybe 2 other business. If you have the time, I strongly suggest that you enjoy a walk along the water after. Now for the food.. we started with an order of shrimp aguachile which was pretty good. The fried artichokes however were life changing. I've never had any prepared that way and I think everywhere should take notes from this place. We also got a half dozen of mixed oysters which were fresh and pretty standard in a positive way. I ordered the seafood pasta, wife got steak tip salad and my mom got fish tacos. Literally everything sold here is delicious and portions that you wouldn't believe. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the check. I felt like they forgot something but it was all there. Outstanding prices and even better food. Our waitress was second to none. Very attentive and she told us how much she enjoys her job and making people happy. Met for a business lunch after a very successful customer meeting where we nailed some great new orders well into 2025. Time to eat some good food to celebrate. Since it was a business lunch, I did not take any pictures of the food, only the great view we had looking off of the patio. I ordered the C-Level Louie Salad. Blue crab, rock shrimp, butter lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, red onion, cucumber, egg, capers, thousand island dressing. I asked for the dressing on the side so I could monitor the amount used instead of just being flooded with dressing which happens a lot and I dislike strongly. We all got our meals and everyone was impressed with the presentations, the amount of food and how everything tasted. My salad was excellent and I would order again when I return. It is not the traditional Crab Louie salad, but a nice variation that is their own. Get it. Very good. I likey. We made reservations for the outside area, it was very casual and we were seated on the parking lot side unfortunately. People had their dogs sitting in chairs with them at the table which seemed a little unsanitary. Our server was wonderful, service was very quick and our food was delicious. The lobster BLT was packed with a ridiculous amount of lobster and the lobster bisque on the side was heavenly. My Skirt Steak Salad was full of juicy, tender steak...just needed more of the blue cheese. Definitely come for happy hour, $10 drinks and apps. My wife and I had dinner here tonight. The space itself is quite nice and it has an amazing view, truly breathtaking, But that's where the great stops. The menu is limited and not particularly creative. Both of us got an entree recommended by the server. We were both disappointed. My wife did not like her herb crusted salmon. She said it lacked flavor and was cold. I got the fish and chips, which were pretty mediocre. I had good oysters as an appetizer. My wife's salad was fine too. The service was very uneven. Our waiter was very pleasant. The food runners dropped the food off so quickly, they didn't want to hear when my wife asked for salt and pepper, when i asked for tabasco, or when i wanted malt vinegar. We had to wait to get the servers attention, which took some time. When asked, he was quite attentive, The view is so great, i'm sure this would be a great place to get drinks and snacks at happy hour. But, this place is not fine dining. Ahi Tuna & Salmon Poke: very disappointed with this, the fish and ingredients are fresh; HOWEVER, the sushi rice is super soft, soggy, and sticky. We couldn't even mix everything thoroughly because the rice all sticked together.The rice ruined the entire dish. They definitely need to improve on the water to rice ratio. Also, I don't think this is worth the price. Not recommended. Chilled Seafood Platter: since my friend and I arrived late at night (8:30pm), they ran out of oysters, so we went ahead and substituted with more salmon. The seafood was fresh, especially the shrimps. Our favorite part of the platter was definitely shrimps, they were lightly seasoned. Very tender and juicy. The avocado that came with the mini ahi tuna stack has a really strange taste (definitely overripe and not fresh). In the end, my friend and I didn't finish both ordered items. For the price that we paid, I think C Level needs to work on their ingredients and recipes a bit more. Not sure if we arrived too late, but we waited very long to be served and our server really had trouble seeing us/staying alerted. The busser was more attentive than our server, and she kindly helped to call our server for us. And at one point, I even had to walk up to my server to pay my bill. The French onion soup and the pot stickers were the perfect amount for a light lunch. Came here for the first time Sun 9.7.25 approx 12pm. Food was as I thought it would be pretty expensive for the view. Ordered 2 entrees for 2 people the Blackened Chicken Sandwich and Chicken Picatta. The Chicken Picatta came out quick BUT the Blackened Chicken Sandwich came out wayyy after (approx 15-20 min). And when it came out we noticed the chicken wasnt even Blackened was jus plain in the taste and look. We didnt wana complain to our waiter cuz he was so very nice and attentive. On top of all this when the bill came there was what u call a 5% SUPPLEMENTAL FEE. Not sure what this was but again we didn't wana be the complaining customer so jus decided to pay it. I tasted a couple of other dishes and everything tasted great. The only thing to consider is that I didn't find that the menu was that adventurous. There wasn't anything on the menu that I would consider unique or something to go out of your way for. We came in for a 2.30pm reservation and they were very welcoming even though most of our party was running late. The restaurant has water front seating, and it was beautiful. Our server was great with a fun sense of humor and good suggestions. We got for appetizers the sesame brie, the calamari, and the the coconut shrimp. These were all fine, I liked the brie the best. I do think that they might be a bit too pricey at regular price and you should get them for happy hour. I got the blt, the others at my table got the catch of the day (sea bass), lobster Mac & cheese, fish and chips, chicken sandwich, and the seafood pasta. I think I probably got the best one, and it came highly recommended by our server. The seafood mix was sweet and creamy, like a mix of imitation crab and lobster. It was also quite large, I think the servings here are enough to do without appetizers. I also tried some of the catch of the day and the fish and chips. The sea bass OK the catch of the day was good, but the brocolinni was stringy and hard to chew. The fish on the fish and chips was cooked perfectly, flaky and tender, but perhaps too batter to eat with the fries with are also battered. My table told me that the seafood pasta was good, but the lobster Mac and cheese was too heavy. We also got desserts, the banana split, and ice cream trio. They were fine. The restaurant brought acomplimentary piece of cake for our new grad, it was very appreciated. (it might have been the best dessert at our table) Social hour (3.30pm to 5.30pm) started while we were there, so we got some additional cocktails. They were just fine. C Level Lounge is in an interesting location. C Level Lounge shares the building with Island Prime and is to the left while Island Prime is to the right. Lovely view of San Diego Bay. Steak and fries was based on a New York steak. I ordered it medium and it came out just the way I like it. Steak was tender and I loved the seasoning which was just the right level of salt. Not as tasty as Cowboy Star but very good. Fries were crispy on the outside and had a tasty fried potato flavor. Sorbet trio consisted of coffee ice cream, campaign raspberry, and coconut pineapple ice cream. Coffee ice cream was the same as in the mud pie. I'm not a coffee drinker but the ice cream was delicious and the little chocolate chips gave it a burst of chocolate flavor. Champagne raspberry had a delicious raspberry flavor and I loved the raspberry topper. Coconut pineapple ice cream was rich and creamy with a tasty mix of coconut and pineapple flavor, This was my favorite ice cream. Mud pie had the delicious coffee ice cream as the main flavor. There was a thin layer of Oreo cookie and a thin layer of chocolate ganache giving this treat a delicious mix of flavors. Service was very good. We really enjoyed our Christmas lunch here. read more

Not amazing. My chicken piccata was strange, not like any piccata I have ever had before, with a creamy sauce, mashes potatoes, and a battered and fried piece of chicken. The lobster mac and cheese was grainy--the cheese sauce overcooked. Honestly could hardly taste any cheese in it and the lobster was scarce. I would go back for the view but not the food. read more
