Mindy was our meal representative on Saturday evening (Jan 31, 2026). She was pure joy. She was friendly, helpful with our choices and so charismatic. We were in San Diego for my birthday and came to C Level for brunch and I really enjoyed it! The menu here is decently expansive and has a variety of different bowls, salads, seafood, and pasta. I wanted something healthier so I ordered the Korean bowl, which has sushi rice, crispy tofu, avocado wasabi mousse, edamame, corn, scallions, carrots, sesame seeds, and seaweed salad. Although I wouldn't say it had authentic Korean flavors, the bowl was still very good and I really loved the crispy tofu that was in it. It is also decently filling while still leaving you feeling light, which I appreciated. Overall, I would recommend ordering this! We also got complimentary cake because we were celebrating my birthday and the cake was really delicious; it was light and somewhat fruity and not overly sweet. I also liked how they gave everyone in my party a slice of cake, alongside myself. What really makes C Level special is the ambiance! The restaurant overlooks the ocean and has large windows throughout so you get a view from almost every angle. Our table was next to a window and it literally felt like we were over the ocean. If I could add ZERO stars I WOULD! WHAT IN THE WORLD?!! We came up to the booth to say we had a reservation and were greeted with glares of judgement from all three hostess . That changed of course after I mentioned I had a reservation and of course the table was not ready but overhearing other customer interactions it seemed we were the only ones on time for our reservation. In said reservation I specifically asked for a spot overlooking the water! We were told there was a table inside. Okay great we can wait for said table that I had booked. We not did not receive a table overlooking the water we received a booth all the way in the back of the outer dining area. I understand the dinner rush but I DID have a reservation, I WAS in good timing, WE were accommodating with our time in waiting for the table that we SPECIFICALLY asked for but were disappointed. We informed our hostess that we would be heading out and instead of trying to accommodate the situation and ask what we can do to help she shrugged her shoulders and said ok. This place has the best harbor views in all of san diego. We started off ordering a craft coronado beer and Strawberry Farm cocktail. I was blown away at how refreshing the cocktail was ! Their cocktails are one of the best and most refreshing ones i have ever had around san diego ! We ordered the lobster mac & cheese which was okay. For some reason their lobster mac & cheese has hints of white fish inside, its different but not a bad complete taste. Next we ordered the lobster BLT with bisque sauce. The sauce went very well with the sandwiches i would recommend this dish right here ! The C-level waygu burger was also a pretty nice burger. The views from this restaurant are jaw dropping. You get the background of the whole city of San Diego and its harbor. The service was very amazing, our server was very attentive and also recommend their in house specials. We made reservations before coming on a Saturday afternoon. We got seated outside right next to an ocean view, which was nice. Our waitress patiently explained to us through the menu, giving us suggestions as well under each category. The food came out quickly and we didn't have to wait long. We also got the lobster BLT which is stuffed with a ton of seafood and a small side of lobster bisque. I was incredibly excited to go here the first night of my trip. I made a reservation to make sure I got outside seating with a view. The restaurant is beautiful. It is a great location. Views are nice wherever you are seated for the patio. I was sat furthest away from the bay and still enjoyed watching the boats pass by. However I had one of the worst service experiences I have had in a very long time and I honestly wanted to leave as soon as I could. My server was pretty rude to me and made a comment about me being by myself. It made me uncomfortable and I immediately shut down. I ordered my food but honestly didn't really enjoy it. He only came back to my table to give me the check. I ordered a half dozen oysters. The menu stated they are daily selection. They were very good but I couldn't get an answer of where they were from. Not the end of the world but just nice to know. I ordered the Lobster BLT, which I saw on social media and was very excited to try. It was great. It is huge, so if you order make sure you are hungry or I'd share it. The Lobster Bisque that comes with it is really the star of the show. The gentleman helping clean off the tables and bussing was incredibly kind and helpful. The valet outside were prompt and kind. Absolutely incredible experience at C Level. We were on a tight timeline as we had a flight coming up, but this restaurant is close to the airport so we decided to give it a shot. We walked in and asked if it would be possible to dine. We were seated at a table with a stunningly beautiful view! Our server was so kind and attentive. She really made us feel welcome and offered great recommendations. I had the steak salad and it is easily one of the best salads I've ever had. There was a very generous portion of steak which was cooked to perfection and incredibly flavorful. Everything on the salad complimented each other, I was truly impressed. My partner had the wagyu burger which I tried a bite of. The burger was flavorful and the fries were perfectly crisp. I forgot to take photos of the food because once it arrived we were so excited about it. We wished we weren't on a time crunch, but our server was so kind to bring us the check while we ate and made sure any leftovers were boxed up right away so that we could leave as soon as we were done eating. I made our reservation about a week in advance by phone because they cannot handle larger parties online and showed fully booked anyway. I had to call numerous times because I didn't want to leave voicemail. With two of our family "elders" in our group, I wanted to be sure we could get a table inside given the hot weather forecasted. I was assured we would be seated inside. When we arrived, our wait wasn't bad at about 20 minutes for our table of 8. But we were seated outside, with nothing available indoors. Very disappointing. The harbor views are beautiful! Service was attentive and engaging. But despite what Yelp! Said at the time, the venue was very noisy, making it difficult for us to carry on conversations during our time together. I would definitely have chosen another venue. Then the food. For a busy Saturday afternoon, the kitchen was pretty quick. The food was beautiful, and tasty. Disappointingly, the food was over-salted. My dad had the fish tacos, which fell apart as he ate them because they were so wet. Actual fish was not easily found, there was so little. My cousin had the Wagyu bacon cheeseburger, which was also beautiful and tasty, but fell apart in the first couple bites because it was so wet. That stated, my sister's spinach salad with shrimp and my French dip sandwich were great, if over-salted. Even the price of appetizers were over $15. We then decided to be moved and you would expect that the waiter or someone would move our menus etc for us.. nope did not happen. We still were hopeful that it was just a busy day and staff was busy. We order food and drinks but drinks didn't come till way after mid our meal. We decided to order another drink while we waited and unfortunately the piña colada came with a hair.. at that point we just gave up and ordered our check. Manager did come by to apologize but you would think that for a restaurant were you're paying $26+ a plate that service would've been 100% better. We felt bad for the staff and still tipped 40% lol. They had the most amazing aioli sauce and it was recommended by the bus boy to add crispy onions to the burger which made this burger one I'll never forget. I also ordered their organic baby greens salad which came with tomatoes, cucumber, blue cheese, cranberries, candied walnuts, balsamic vinaigrette. The blue cheese was top notch and made this salad delicious along with their fresh ingredients. I sat inside the restaurant where the view is still spectacular because there was a wait for the outside dining. I should have waited to be sat outside on their deck patio but it was a gloomy cloudy day and thought it would be too cold but it wasn't. The views are so breathtaking and is simply stunning perfection if you're celebrating an anniversary or a special birthday. Very romantic and completely different vibes outside. They have several heating lamps everywhere so you won't get cold during the winter. I will definitely come back to this restaurant to try more delicious food with that spectacular view. Also have to give a shoutout to my server Dusty who provided me with excellent customer service. Very knowledgeable about the menu and was sweet and patient.
