My go to Vietnamese spot! I've been overwhelmed with the kindness of the staff here, they always bring big smiles and are very helpful with questions on the menu. My regular order is their B4 Bahn Mi, this is a pork belly and pâté sandwich which is an Anthony Bourdain approved sandwich. With both dinning in and take out I've always had a table available to relax at, the music is modern and the decor is relaxed. A good second date spot. Also quite possibly the best Vietnamese Iced Coffee I've had on this side of the bridge with really good ice, I let my coffee sit for at least 45min to get it nice and melted down for a less sweet taste. read more

Fresh spring rolls were delicious. The Chicken pho was good. The Grill Chicken was disappointing (too sweet, like teriyaki). I ordered a chicken pho to go and was given the wrong broth. I know this because the broth from my left over was yellow in color but the broth I got was light brown. It smelled like veggies and the lid was marked with a "V". I told the wait staff. Had vermicelli Noodles with Grilled Pork. It tasted great! Pork was tender and good portion for $13. I liked the marinated onions and carrots that they put on the top. Got take out. The highlight was the regular beef Pho which was delicious with a very good broth and tender meat. We also got the pork chop on fried rice. Pork chop was good but the fried rice was very basic/a little bland. Chicken wings were tasty and very crispy. So incredibly delicious! Went here on vacation and wish I could take the recipe back with me. I thought I didn't even like rice noodles, but I liked these. They're more opaque than the ones I've had. The food is nothing to write home about, but worth a Yelp review to warn those whom seek delicious/ authentic Vietnamese food, this isn't it. Frankly many menu items were underwhelming. Their sauce for the pork and shrimp spring rolls was very salty, not authentic or traditional. The egg rolls seemed like they were microwaved, certainly they had not been prepared or fried fresh. The bun bo hue was very sweet and I wondered if they had used MSG, or simply slipped and added too much cane sugar. They served soy sauce instead of fish sauce (or nuoc mam) for the vermicelli noodles, which is truly blasphemous. Anthony Bourdain would be rolling in his grave. The servers seemed kind and I'm all for supporting local businesses so I hope ownership can remedy some of the recipes and pay homage to their roots with more authenticity in their cooking. read more

I came on a Tuesday for lunch because I had a long gap between meetings and thought I would try some noodles. I was devastated to learn they are not open on Tuesdays. We took our 3 and 5 year olds to this newly opened local restaurant. They loved the chicken steam rice and pork chop with fried rice. We are happy to find a place where the kids' menu is similar to what the adults eat but with milder flavor. We also ordered the pho special and the banh mi dish (beef with egg on the sizzling pan). Noticed that this place was new, only opened for a couple of months. Easy to find in a strip mall, limited parking in front, but can park around the side if crowded. Got there around 330p on a Wednesday, no wait, really clean interior, went straight to the counter and was greeted by a friendly gal. Ordered a small beef pho and a crepe for takeout. Waited about 10mins for the food and then headed home. Crepe held up fairly well, still warm, and exterior retained its crispness, pho was neatly packaged and separated broth from the meat/noodles. Crepe was super tasty with shrimp, crispy pork belly slices, beansprouts, garlic chives, and white onion inside. Nit picky comment is that there is maybe a bit too many onions for my taste and a little oily. Pho was delicious with nice hearty broth, just enough meat and noodles. I think this is the best pho place in Kirkland and maybe even on the Eastside. It's tucked away in a small plaza and the inside is pretty cozy but cute. We ordered the beef pho special, grilled pork spring rolls, pork egg rolls, and fried chicken wings. The pho was piping hot and flavor was pretty good! Slightly sweet for my taste but it is much better than some other places I've tried. The grilled pork spring rolls were delicious but like another reviewer said, I wish they contained vermicelli noodles inside. Egg rolls and chicken wings were fried fresh and hot, and they were both delicious! The chicken wings were perfectly seasoned and had a nice, subtle garlic flavor. But, we drive from Bellevue to Kirkland now when we have such a craving as these are better than any near us! I have tried the tofu, the pork and the chicken. The bread is perfectly done.
