Great place to grab a pretty good sandwich and drink at a reasonable price as long as you're hungry early because they close pretty early in the afternoon. If there's more than a couple customers ahead of you the wait may be a few minutes but the food is good enough to wait. I was so excited to find a place near my home that could make a boba milk tea without dairy. I called to make sure. When I arrived I saw that they had food so I asked if there was any seasoning in the potato and I was told no but then I was told I was they weren't sure when I shared that I would go into anaphylactic shock if there was. I was then told to not order it then and to order something else that I'm not allergic to. Unfortunately the only things on their menu that I wasn't allergic to or at least thought I might not be would be the potato, egg, and tortilla. I asked what was in the potatoes the person said they didn't know it came in a package. I asked if I could see the ingredients of the package I was told that the package was thrown away. I asked where it was purchased from so I can look it up online and I was told that they were too busy and had to go make the food. I shared okay I will wait and then the person said just order something you're not allergic to and I explain I don't know if I'm not allergic to it if I don't know what's in it and the only thing on the menu that I had seen that I thought I wasn't allergic to was the tortilla, egg, and potato. I was told it was purchased at Costco, so I asked potatoes from Costco and I was told repeatedly each time I ask the same question that the person had to go make the food and it just pick something else. It was a really crappy experience if you have allergies do not go here. Had I gone with what the first person shared that there wasn't anything in the potatoes and didn't sure I'd go in anaphylaxic shock who knows what would have happened. What I received instead was an astonishingly expensive cup of chilled disappointment. This latte had all the personality of a manila envelope and about as much flavor as a polite nod. I kept sipping, convinced the taste would arrive eventually. It did not. The ice was doing most of the heavy lifting, while the coffee itself seemed confused about why it was there at all. For the price I paid, I expected richness, depth, maybe even a whisper of joy. Instead, I got a beverage that asked nothing of me and gave even less in return. I work in this complex. I always had gone to this deli as it is close and fast, however it has changed ownership a couple times and each time the quality and value goes down it seems .. I will go there once in a while for a latte which is fine, however the items I have ordered have been dissapointing.. 1) Cobb Salad- most cheapskate ration of crumbled bacon you could imagine was added to it and skimpy on just about all other ingredients as they could be. It was a sad sald to say the least and shameful to serve. 2) Thai Chicken wrap - this one was the final straw for me. This take 0 finesse or effort . Literal ingregietns ( Costco green tortila wrap, chinese crunchy sticks, asian inspired sauce with iceberg lettuce. It was something I felt like I would make in college using the condiments and what was left in the fridge., Very inspid in flavor and depressing to eat. So I want to start by saying that the girl working the counter was very nice, which is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. Now, I ordered a Reuben sandwich, which is predominantly a corned beef sandwich with some garnishes, one of which is sauerkraut. Walking up, we were unsure if we wanted to eat there and the gentleman at the counter was inviting and pleasant. Once we decided to have some sandwiches, he was very helpful and accommodating with our preferences. We both ordered vegetarian sandwiches, but with the modifications, they were nothing like one another. Because they had no meat, we were able to get avocado for no up-charge. Went to try this cafe today, as it's close to our office and had good reviews, however, after today I can assure you we will NOT be coming back. Our order consisted of two sandwiches both of which were made incorrectly. The first sandwich came with missing ingredients and the second, after specifically saying Sourdough, Mayo, Turkey, Pepper Jack, Lettuce, and Onion ONLY came with Tomatoes added. Upon explaining that I am allergic to this ingredient I was told "You didn't say no Tomatoes". They took back the sandwich and removed the tomatoes. If I simply didn't like them this would be one thing, however, when saying your allergic to an item removing them isn't going to remove 100% of the tomato and a new sandwich must be made. The other sandwich we ordered was missing Mayo. Upon having that added and the other remade we were given our order with MUCH attitude as they slammed the food door shut. I get not everyone is going to be pleasant to deal with, but the customer service given was awful. I will say they do give a decent amount of Meat and Cheese on their sandwiches, but that's the only compliment I have to give after the experience today it will be my first and my last time to this Cafe. read more

I work in an office complex that has this little cafe as part of it's business family and I am so stoked because besides being a decent little cafe, the folks that run it are pretty friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Betty is the young lady you will find most days at the register, sometimes very nice, sometimes just okay but always polite and fast. The menu has a nice little assortment of breakfast doo dads, sandwiches, burritos etc and all fairly priced. The breakfast burrito with your choice of meat, potatoes and eggs is big and heavy and will easily carry you through to the evening. Every day there is a different lunch special which will include a salad, bag of chips and a drink for under $7. The food is always fresh, tasty, and of decent portions. Try the Chinese chicken salad wrap and you will be very happy. Also, they have a killer BLT to which they add a thin layer of cream cheese (which on second thought will kill you if you eat it too much I suppose.) They make a home chicken soup that is absolutely delish and my coworkers tell me that their other soups are just as good. They also have fountain sodas, the usual assortment of breads and cookies on the counters and an espresso machine but you want to skip that if you're picky about your coffees. We have tried several different businesses in the area, exploring by foot and by car but we always come back to the cafe. I would rather give my money to a local business who appreciates my coworkers and I as opposed to some chain or even larger business that could care less if you come back or not. There is a nice patio on the side of the cafe and on a beautiful sunny, San Diego day, it's a good place to eat and people watch...and it won't kill your wallet! read more

This is a great place to get some food, tucked away in the office buildings here on Aero drive. They have really delicious sandwiches, my favorite being the super delicious...and as the name would suggest it's **drum roll** super delicious: roast beef and turkey with provolone cheese, sourdough bread, with the standard fixings of lettuce, tomato, mayo, mustard. Add some sprouts and you're really going towards sandwich perfection. The ladies who work here are super nice and my sandwiches are always made perfectly. Stop by and grab a bite to eat! Had a craving for a sandwich and looked up sandwich shops close to my work address. Only a block away and I will be making that walk a LOT! Food was fresh and delicious. Only problem was it made my craving worse! Had the roast beef on squaw bread and added avocado and sprouts. Bread was fresh and soft and the roast beef tasted like it was just cut fresh. Love the fact that they have a good selection of chips and not just the standard selection. Took off one star for price. Decent price ($8 for sandwich & specialty chips) but wish they wouldn't charge extra for sprouts. All in all it was a great meal, service was friendly and fast.
