This place is a wonderful cafe. The coffee is amazing. My wife got the cappuccino and it tasted amazing. It was so smooth and beautifully served. I got the cold brew Kona Blend and it was delicious so easy to drink. Their selection of home made pastries is awesome. We tried the PB&J croissant, the Cubano croissant, the blueberry and cream cheese croissant and a crazy good chocolate mousse. Jeanne and Earnest were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Since we were in the area my sister and I decided to venture into Kailua for some eats. Having seen many IG posts on this place decided to give it a try. I completely missed the parking entrance but found convenient street parking on a Sunday. We got there close to 12:30p and we weren't sure if they had sold out of the laksa, they weren't so that's what we both ordered. The bowl was delicious - Rich coconut flavors filled with shrimp, tofu, boiled egg and bean sprouts. My only wish was that they used a combination of two different noodles (ramen and rice noodles/bihon) instead of just the ramen. There's ample seating out in the back patio with ample parking too. Would like to try other dishes on their menu the next trip out. read more

I love this new little spot! It's such a humble mom (Jeanne) and pop (Ernest) coffee shop with Singaporean roots. But don't be sleeping on that quality coffee! Came with a friend to have a vanilla latte. It was horrible. I paid for the vanilla flavor, but there was none. It was overpriced to boot. The plain small coffee would have been better probably. I was going to buy a dessert but glad I didn't. They're probably just as horrible tasting even though they look pretty. Melt in your mouth pastries and the best Laksa and kopi peng I've had outside of Singapore! Bonus: the owners are SUPER nice and put heart and soul into everything they make. This place came highly recommended in the area. Plenty of seats indoor and outdoor which is perfect for us since we have a kid and a stroller. We each had the spicy noodle dish known as Laska. We enjoyed it a lot and it left you wanting more. After the Laska, we had to try some of the desserts, and we decided on the lilikoi cheesecake and the fruit tart. The lilikoi cheesecake was my favorite as it just melts in your mouth. The fruit tart was equally as good and the pineapple flavor adds a positive twist than what I'm used to. If you want a unique, pet-friendly and kid-friendly place to study, catch up with friends, or have business meetings, and enjoy good foods, please give this place a try. What an amazing rip off $9 for four dumpling that tasted like ginger bombs and took 30 minutes to cook. Their $13 breakfast sandwich was a lifeless, flavorless, dried out piece of focaccia with egg(?) and a slice of tomato you would find in a day old Hamberger. All together a bad experience. Such a cute cafe! Very nice staff. They had a variety of pastries but we just had coffee. Got there about 10:15a and they were busy. Cashier was also the barista so she called someone to help. Our order was simple, decaf iced latte and a decaf iced mocha. They have a variety of milks to choose from to customize your drink. There are several tables inside, very quaint and cozy. There are also a few outdoor tables in front of the cafe and in back. Metered street parking or a good sized parking lot in back. It was a cool and breezy day so sitting outside was pleasant. They did check our vaccine cards and ids before ordering. Definitely want to go back to try a pastry. It was also nice to go somewhere where they didn't tell you about their time limit for seating! read more

Came here for a quick break from hike from pillbox. The parking is a bit difficult since it is all street parking and its metered. They may have their own parking lot, but I'm not sure if it is for employees only. I got the lilikoi cheese cake with iced pomelo ginger honey tea. The cheesecake was phenomenal and I was happy to get it. The owner said they make cream with fresh lilikoi but may use frozen when it is no longer in season. I was lucky it was in season and happily munched it all up. I felt a little regretful getting the tea because the cheesecake overpowered the drink in sweetness. I could still taste the ginger and pomelo in the drink. Tables are available outside and inside (socially distanced). read more

Tried a few savory items this time, various sandwiches on croissant buns, and let me say this, you could put anything on this croissant, it will be delicious, but the "inside" of the sandwiches were actually great in their own right. read more

Came here on a Saturday and they have a very popular laska they only see on weekends from 10am till they sell out. Due to this I would not recommend going around this time if you are not getting the laska because the wait to order was around 45 mins. I in no way blame them because they were incredibly friendly and quick once you order. I got the chocolate croissant and Jeannes Fav (lavender and vanilla latte) with oat milk. The latte was amazing it had the slightest hint of lavender that complimented the latte so well. I recommend the oat milk because it makes it smooth and creamy. The chocolate cake looked amazing (vegan and gluten free) but it was $8 for a very small cake so I passed on it this time. They also have pumpkin spice croissant and latte right now as a seasonal item. Everyone that works there is so friendly. They will ask for your vax card if you are dining in but if you sit outside then you don't need. Overall it was very good and I will be going again to try their other items and maybe a laska next time. read more

Came in today for the laksa and it was delicious! The girl who was making it (I believe her name was malia I'm sorry if that's wrong as this was a couple hours ago) was very kind and told me about the dish as I've never had laksa before. I must say the spice was on point with flavor and the rice noodle was delicious I told her how good it was and she was very appreciative! Only thing I would recommend is more noodles 18 dollars is a lot and I feel the bowl should be filled half with noodles.. I was still hungry after. Besides that I had my laksa with a chai, I was recommended the iced chai latte with hazelnut by (I believe luke or Luca he said.. I really wish I wrote down their names‍‍‍) I asked him the names of everyone in today as I like to have a connection to people who serve me food or drinks instead of "person who made my coffee this morning"and he told me about some of his favorite pastries which I told him I would come back to try. The barista who made my drink (Chloe) made the drink so good and the hazelnut was the right choice for sure! I didn't think I was going to enjoy my lunch this much today but I was so glad to meet such wonderful people who truly deserve appraisal for what they do. I noticed everyone who worked their had a Cafe Kopi shirt but was confused about the worker who was playing a board game (didn't get his name.. maybe owner) but other than that the people behind the bar who made my drink and food today are truly wonderful and sweet people thank you to Malia (again sorry if wrong) for the delicious laksa, Luke (or Luca) for the great customer service, Chloe for the drink, and Maile she was working hard on those dishes wish I got to talk to her a bit I heard some of the banter she was saying with the other workers and I was laughing to myself overhearing what she had to say . These wonderful wonderful people truly made my afternoon better I really hope these people are showed appreciation for their customer service.
