    Homestyle breakfast w bacon
    Brianna C.

I always enjoy stopping by Cafe Reveille whenever I'm in SF! Particularly for their vanilla bean scone :) but this time around, I tried their homestyle breakfast with bacon and their acai bowl too. The acai bowl was yummy and filling! I got to watch it being made since I sat at the barstool area. I actually didn't have to wait long at all on a Sunday afternoon. When I came on a Saturday afternoon though, the wait was wild so I saved time by ordering online.

Great spot for coffee lovers! They really know their espresso and take pride in crafting quality coffee. The café was clean, the menu offered fresh, healthy options, and everything tasted high quality. Definitely worth a visit! Service was nice and professional.

WOW! came here with a rec for the breakfast sandwich and was not disappointed at ALL. there isn't too much seating for larger parties, and it's been full the two times i've been which have been on a weekend right around noon, but i have been able to get a table where they bring the food and buss the table for you as well. overall fantastic, give it a try if you're in mission bay and you won't be disappointed! matcha latte: beautiful artwork. breakfast sandwich + "the works": honestly so solid and the works is definitely worth it. the hot sauce ain't too spicy but adds great flavor. the bacon is crunchy, the egg like protrudes out of the bread, but it's so good. the only part i'd change is that i don't like poppy seeds on the bread, but that's kinda given so not bad. homestyle breakfast: surprisingly the two eggs were poached style and they had nice runny yolks. the smashed potatoes and crispy bread with a thick avocado made a delicious combo.

My friends who I was meeting up was staying at a nearby hotel. We came here for breakfast since they had to check out 2 hours later. Not too many seating as everyone is just sitting there forever working. They have an extensive drink menu but breakfast was pastries and 5 items. You can get a chia bowl, avocado toast, eggs +, and a burrito. Overall the food was presented well and delicious. I did wish the potatoes were salted a bit. I got a mocha with soy milk. It was so pretty. Best coffee art I have had in a long time.

Stopped by around 4:30pm before a game. Espresso is strong enough and well balanced in the latte. Solid. Quick service and clean restroom. Lots of people on their laptops or chatting. There were lots of flies buzzing outside the establishment, near where the exit door is. Kinda ruins the mood walking up to the cafe.

The honey and I dropped into Cafe Réveille as our last stop on a long day of walking around San Francisco. I ordered the Tropic Garden iced tea and he the Mountain Beauty iced tea. The service was prompt, but the layout for the straws and cup tops was a bit difficult to navigate. Our drinks were both refreshing and the cafe boasts two all gender bathrooms and quite a bit of inside and outside seating via the parklet. We would definitely drop in again, but the layout for the space, where the line begins, and where items are kept, could do with a redesign.

Crunch bowl with chicken, açaí bowl, matcha latte

Always packed with people grabbing a bite with friends or getting a coffee to work on their laptops. Seating both indoors and outdoors in their parklet and tables by the side walk. Overall place was modern, clean, reminiscent of a nice coffee shop. We ordered: - Crunchy bowl with chicken (5/5): warm bowl with kale, sweet potatoes, shiitake mushrooms. Side of chicken breast was extra $6 but added some protein to an otherwise perfect bowl. Lightly dressed which was a bonus - Açaí bowl (4.5/5): delicious açaí with fruits, wished there were some more berries and fruits, most of it was loaded with açaí and granola - Matcha latte with almond milk (5/5): rich matcha flavors, beautiful artwork Wasn't sure if we were supposed to bus our own tables after so I awkwardly grabbed our used plates and utensils and handed them over to someone by the kitchen (couldn't find a bin for these). My only other feedback was to allow guests to enter one of the two side doors that were marked "exit only" to get in to pick up utensils, waters, use the restroom, etc without having to bump through people waiting in line at the main entrance. Anyhow, would definitely come back for another delicious brunch! Cant wait

Was hoping this place would be great because it's in an easily accessible area for me. However I was very disappointed by the Levantine Sandwich that I ordered. For $17+ tax/tip I'd expect a good amount of the grilled chicken breast inside the sandwich as was advertised on the menu - instead, what I got was a very very thinly sliced piece of chicken that was lost in a very large piece of bread and plenty of overpowering cabbage that I didn't really care for. The fries that accompanied the dish were also unremarkable.

I came back on a Saturday morning around 10 and it was already bustling! There was no line though so I ordered and grabbed the second to last empty table with my order number. My mocha came pretty quickly and had really nice latte art on it! The espresso base today was a bit on the acidic side for me, but the cocoa flavor balanced it out a bit. The açaí bowl was absolutely delicious and just what I needed. There were so many toppings with granola and cacao nibs in every bite--I almost ran out of açaí at the end! The fresh fruit on top also tasted very fresh. It was the perfect treat to myself on a Saturday morning and enjoyed the open air and bustling (but not too noisy) vibes of the cafe.

A wonderful location! They make the coffee really fresh and the almond croissant was tasty! The staff are friendly and welcoming first thing in the morning. I wish the almond croissant was a bit warmer, though.

I know your hours say you close at 5pm as of 7/8/23 (the hours on Yelp are wrong and say 7:30pm), but what time does your kitchen close? The website doesn't allow for any orders past 3pm and there is no phone number I can call. thank you!

I live nearby and came here a few times already before 3pm, and their kitchen always closes early. I wish they advertised a stipulated time of when they stop serving food.

    Is the outdoor seating covered?

Yes it is, they have 2 areas. 1 covered and the other open.

Hi, is there currently indoor seating? If not, does the outdoor seating have any heaters?

I thought it would be similar to like a Hawaiian style latte with macadamia milk, but it was a lot lighter than I thought. It was definitely very nutty, but it also just tasted like water down latte. Honestly not much going on with the drink, but it does taste lighter in general. Crazy have to pay $1.50 more to add on this milk. Overall, its alright. Whether you are in the mood for a katsu sando, curry over rice, ochazuke with their matcha twist, or something sweet like the matcha cream pie, it is hard to go wrong here. All of the savory dishes I have tried have been great, but the fish katsu sando is one of my absolute favorites. The huge fish fillets are perfectly fried and flaky, tucked inside pillowy shokupan and topped with tangy yuzu shio koji sauce, tomato spread, and fresh crunchy cabbage. Every component works together beautifully, with richness, brightness, and texture all in balance. The pork katsu curry over rice is another standout. The katsu comes sliced into thick pieces that are still juicy inside, and it is fried expertly so the breading stays attached as you eat it. The curry has a really balanced flavor, even if I would not mind a little more spice, while the pickled radishes provide a nice contrast. I always add an onsen egg (for an additional $2) because breaking the runny yolk and mixing it into the curry adds another layer of velvety richness and creaminess. You can also tell they use high-quality matcha in their drinks, so the beverage menu is really more about choosing what fits your mood that day vs avoiding any bad options. My babka was plated on a dainty ceramic dish, which matched the old-school European cafe vibes. The babka was light and fluffy, yet the outside was crisp and buttery like a croissant. The salted chocolate layers folded into the pastry were the perfect balance of sweet and salty, and the chocolate tasted high-quality. One babka could have probably been split into two servings, especially if you want to try multiple items, but I didn't leave behind a single crumb. All around us, the other diners seemed to be enjoying a full-scale brunch with savory pastries and what appeared to be a Turkish breakfast platter. It all smelled wonderful, so I'll have to explore more of the menu on my next visit. I enjoyed the mahlab cake a day later and was amazed that it retained its delicate and light texture.
