Delicious coffee to keep the coaches fueled for an early baseball game! You can't go wrong with any of the drinks but the classic cafe sua da is always a favorite. Employees are super helpful and knowledgeable about the menu as well so they will guide you to something you'll enjoy Beignets were made fresh on order and compliments the coffee but was on the heavier side

I have been wanting to try this place since it opened a few months ago. I came in the morning, and the place wasn't too busy. The decor inside looked upscale and modern, and I could see this as a place to have coffee with a friend. The parking lot is quite large, so finding parking was pretty easy. I ordered from the kiosk a durian coffee. They were selling it at a 50% discount, and I had tried durian ice cream coffee at another shop before, so I wanted to try this place's version. It only took a few minutes to prepare, and one of the staff brought it to the table I was waiting at. I thought that was nice and made this place stand out from other coffee shops I've been to. The durian coffee tastes awesome, and the coffee is creamy but strong. You can definitely smell the durian when you're about to take your first sip. And I can taste it too. I can really only describe it as a more savory vanilla flavor contrary to its scent.

All it takes is one sip to take you to cloud 9. Smooth, bold, not too sweet. It's what I look for in a Vietnamese coffee. Guess the owner/ ceo is a famous Vietnamese singer since his picture is all over the place. Very clean and modern style. I ordered the special with has Vietnamese coffee/ egg cream and the coconut coffee. The coconut coffee is my favorite. Has a little hint of coconut and coconut shavings, plus grass jelly. Yummy! I'll definitely be back to try the others.

It's a cute place in a strip mall. We paid $8 for six of the regular size beignets. I was bothered enough to actually post this. They are friendly but weren't able to follow a simple request of extra powdered sugar. We ate two of them, you can decide if it was worth what we paid..... (sad day...)

Cafe Quán Many people seem to come here more for the live singers and entertainment than just for coffee, which creates a lively atmosphere. My husband and I ordered the café kem cháy and a banana matcha. The drinks were okay , pretty standard and similar to other cafés nearby, nothing too unique in flavor. The wait time for drinks was a bit long, so it may not be ideal if you're in a hurry. The space itself is large, clean, and airy, making it comfortable to sit and relax. Justin and Trina were friendly and nice, although they seemed a little busy. They appeared more confident and natural while performing on stage.

Cafes Quan, Had a wonderful experience here. The restaurant is beautifully designed, with a clean and inviting atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and they took the time to recommend some great drinks and appetizers. One of my favorites was the beignets Perfectly crispy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside, and just the right amount of sweetness. Definitely a 10/10. Chè Khúc Bạch, a refreshing Vietnamese dessert drink with almond jelly and fruit. It was light, flavorful, and a great complement to the meal. Overall, the food, drinks, and service were all excellent. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

Heard this coffee cafe was owned by a famous Vietnamese singer, so I had to check out the hype about it. We ordered their signature coffee and the salted coffee. Both coffee was strong which I like about it but the portion size does not justify the price of $6.5 each. We literally killed those drinks within a few sips and then it was gone except the ice. My gf didn't much enjoyed it and it was too sweet for her. The shrimp banh mi was pretty good, but a bit small. You get two mini baguettes filled with shrimp and pate. I give it a 4/5. The service was nice, but it did took awhile for our order to come out. Apparently they accidentally gave our order someone else, so we had to wait another 5 mins. The place is nice though and there's lots of seating next door which they also own.

Cafe Quan. New coffee shop in town in the seafood paradise plaza. Got myself a salted Vietnamese coffee. I usually don't like the thicker coffees. But I must say. I liked mine today. Good flavored beans. Sweetened right. The foam was solid. After it all got mixed in tasted very good. With a bit of saltiness. Actually excited to come back and try the bac xiu next. Which is usually my go to coffee drink.

Skip the Almond Panna Cotta Che! Stating that we were disappointed is an understatement. The entire cup was filled with crushed ice and sugar syrup from the canned longan. Then topped with a few cubes of panna cotta and canned longan. The audacity to charge $7 a cup... wow. Don't say I didn't warn ya.

Tried Cafes Quan today, and everything was so goood! I am quite the beignet connoisseur, and let me tell you I DONT NEED TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE. The beignets were so fresh, the outside was perfectly crispy and the inside fluffy. The owners Trina & Justin are sooooo sweet!!! They made sure we LOVED our drinks, and were just over all so welcoming. I love coming to support good food & especially genuine sincere service! YUMMY! Came here with my girlfriend on a Tuesday and we both loved our drinks! She ordered the roasted rice milk tea and I got the lotus macchiato, both were sooo good and full of flavor. The roasted rice milk tea had a toasty flavor, and the lotus macchiato was smooth, refreshing, and perfectly balanced! The shop had a really chill atmosphere and the staff was super friendly as well. I came here for the grand opening and got a chance to try their café Kem chay. Also, I tried their cafe sua da and both were very good. I like how their coffees are strong Vietnamese coffee but not bitter and have the perfect amount of sweetness . It reminds me of the coffees I would get when I go to Vietnam. The place is spacious and decor looks really nice. Definitely one of my favorite coffee places here in OC and I thank you highly recommend it!! I will definitely be back soon to try more of their other coffees and matcha drinks. Also, I would like to try the banh mi que. read more

If you want authentic Vietnamese coffee, this is the place for you! I made a mistake when ordering the Ube Coffee of their. Very strong. Highly recommend their CQ Signature (Cafe Kem Chay)! They also have a large seating section next door. Other than that, there's nothing special or a wow factor about it. It is just another milk tea/tea place. read more

After coming here almost every week, I finally had to leave a review. This place has been consistently great. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is friendly, and everything is always on point. Their Vietnamese traditional coffee is a must because it's bold, rich, and reminds me of Vietnam. The beignets are warm and fresh, and the jasmine milk tea is smooth and refreshing. I have been to Cafes Quan a couple of times because I love Vietnamese, but I absolutely love Cafes Quan. It's strong and has a great flavor! I've been here with my mom and I've also takin my co-worker and friend here. The service here is great!! Everyone is so kind and helpful with good recommendations with what you may like. Every time I come and Justin is there, he is so kind and so nice with everything, from service to a nice conversation in just asking how my day is. My favorite drinks are the egg coffee and the ube coffee. The ambiance is a nice and relaxing spot to enjoy your coffee as well. If you love Vietnamese coffee, this is the spot for you!! read more

I tried both the Salted Coffee and Coconut Coffee one. Im not a huge fan of coconut but I really liked the Coconut Coffee it tasted fresh and didn't over power the coffee flavor. Came here mostly for the aesthetic but honestly the coffee stole the show. Got a latte and it was smooth, not bitter at all -- exactly how I like it. The place looks super clean and modern but it doesn't feel cold or pretentious, which I appreciated. Sat there for like two hours and nobody rushed me out. Good coffee, good atmosphere, what more do you want. Will be back for sure. read more

The Cafe is clean, looks modern with a decor of Art Deco pictures. As a coffee lover, salted coffee is pretty strong and perfect for me. It's interesting to try pandan coffee at the 1st time. I like the vibrant creamy green pandan with aromatic smell blended in coffee. The Pate Chaud is still hot from oven. It is flaky, lightly buttery smell and you can tell the savory meat is really fresh. The mini pastries are delicious, fluffy and pinneapple and raspberry filling is not so sweet. We have tried Beignets at 3 different restaurants including Cafe du Monde in New Orleans. The beignet at Cafe Quan is exceptionally light, airy, puffy. This place is spacious, plenty of tables and chairs you can sit to enjoy coffee, pastries with friends. The price is reasonable. The owner and staffs are friendly. Highly recommended! read more

Café Quan is a must visit if you love coffee and tea. I ordered both the salted coffee and the pandan coffee. The salted coffee was bold and strong--definitely exceeded my expectations as a strong coffee drinker. The pandan coffee was fragrant and delicious, with a unique flavor that really stood out. The beignets are just as impressive, fresh out of the oven, perfectly fluffy on the inside with a light crunch on the outside. The atmosphere and decor are really pretty and inviting, which made the whole experience even better. On top of that, the customer service was attentive and welcoming. Coffee was all ice and barely any coffee. The pastries took 30minutes to get. Had I known it was a long wait I would not have ordered. There were many customers who were very unhappy. Customers should be informed when ordering that the wait time for any pastries/bread is 30minutes. Menu listed matcha (reason I drove here in the first place), but they didn't even have it yet and unsure when they will even stock it. The cashier was very friendly and tried his best. The beignet was good but definitly not worth the 30min wait. The combo bread....i wouldn't order again. Suggestion: when handing customers their drinks, it would be nice and efficient to hand them a straw too. Every single customer had to walk back to the cashier counter to grab a straw. read more

I'll be fair -- I actually like their coffee. Their traditional cà phê sữa đá is done really well and definitely hits the spot. That said, the service has been frustrating. It took me three tries to even write this review because I wanted to be sure I was being reasonable. I usually stop by in the morning on my way to work, and timing matters. On one occasion, I even called ahead about 15 minutes before arriving, but still ended up waiting another 15 minutes just to get my drink. It feels like there may be a lack of proper training or support for the newer staff, it wasn't even that busy in the morning. Unfortunately, because of the delays, I probably won't be coming back for a while. read more

Came in on 04/25 around early evening. Whoever they had working in the front made for quite an unpleasant first experience. Let's just say the customer service was pretty lackluster, maybe even nonexistent. The way he answered questions seemed like he was so uninterested in serving anyone. After we got our drinks and beignets, we got handed dirty plates stained with what seemed to be pizza(?). They had kids wandering around the store, and it seemed like they were babysitting while operating the café. Was very weird. I wish it was a better experience because the space seemed pretty and modern, and the drinks were decent. However, the guy's customer service was so off-putting that I don't have it in me to give it another try, nor recommend it to anyone. read more

The shop has a clean modern vibe, friendly service, and a nice mix of traditional and creative drinks. The salted coffee and egg coffee were both smooth, rich, and not overly sweet. Their fresh beignets were warm, fluffy, and paired perfectly with the drinks. Prices are reasonable, and the presentation feels premium for a casual café. What a terrible experience. I've visited this place three times and every single time I placed an order, I ended up having to wait--with customers who arrived after me consistently receiving their drinks before I did but its still okay cause it's not too long. The situation reached a breaking point today: I had to wait a full 30 minutes just for three cups of coffee, while everyone who walked in ( 5 orders after me) received their orders and had already left. I finally went up to ask why it was taking so long, they simply told me to wait "just a little more" because they had somehow missed my order--without offering a single word of apology. If you intend to run a business, you really need to improve your service and hire more staff; the shop is packed, yet there are only two employees on duty. It is truly frustrating. read more
