We only had time for a quick bite so we went for their fried oysters & chips and their soft shell crabs & chips. I'm not 100% sold on their soft shell crabs. The quantity was there, but the quality wasn't. The fried oysters breading to oyster ratio wasn't great either. We had enough for leftovers though so yeah +1 for quantity! I like the overall setup. They have a bar in the center and hella TVs all around. This is pretty much a good spot to watch our Bay Area teams (go Dubs!). The staff seems nice as well. I usually go to Ray's Crab Shack, but this place is a good second! The garlic noodles with rich and fulllll of garlic, cooked and semi raw. My friends thought it was a bit too much garlic, but I liked it, heck I LOVED It! My house mate devoured the oysters, which were $1.50 during happy hour. The snow crab was delish, my sister in law loved the fresh seasonal crawdads, and we all thought the combo sauce was delicious and not too buttery. The place is spacious. Seating is very comfortable. Staff is friendly and nice. They have lunch specials during the week. We ordered the friend oysters and soft-shell crabs. Both fried dishes are very good. Their french fries are better than sweet potato fries. Garlic noodles are just so-so, not much flavor and the noodles were overcooked. When it came to the seafood, we ordered the Signature Combo #2 with House Special sauce. The sauce tastes good. However the seafood wasn't cooked well. Probably one of the worst dining experiences that we've had in an establishment in a long time and at a Cajun Crack'n location. We had to wait over 25 mins for the bill, the food was not fresh, and we had to remind staff for the rest of our order. To top it off, we were reminded numerous times that they were offering free appetizers by scanning a code, which required us to first rate our experience first, then we got the code for free appetizer. The kicker is that you can't redeem at the end of your meal, you need to redeem in the beginning when you order. Won't be returning to this location. read more

I went for lunch with my brother and we got the lunch special. About $15 for a pound of shrimp with 1 potato, 1 corn and sausage. I had mine with no sausage but it was still great! I tried their lobster roll it wasn't bad but I'm used to having warm lobster rolls not cold so I didn't enjoy it as much. I have never been so excited to try a place only to be disappointed. The food was not good at all. I had the fish basked, oyster basket, lemon pepper wings, and fried okra. I'm not sure about the boils I didn't try it. Not sure if I want to but yet curious if that's why they have a high rating. The okra tastes like it was cooked in Castro oil, it didn't have any seasoning it taste like it was thrown in flour then fired in old grease. The fish was old it was wash to mushy and wasn't white it was like a pinkish brown color. I cook fish enough to know that it was old fish. It made me hesitate to eat the oysters which tasted worse than the okra same batter the chicken was seasoned well but old meat as well the fries were decent. I threw it all away. It's replaced the Black Angus restaurant that we used to go while the kids were little. How time flies and now it's a seafood restaurant. It was a Monday after 6PM, we didn't have to wait inline. The restaurant is clean and decorated with 2 pirates as soon as we walked in the door. The kids missed their Black Angus but get used to the new environment now. The young servers were quite pleasant and attentive. A simple 1 laminated sheet of menu with quite a few dishes on it. I noticed right away the catfish basket, I love deep fried catfish since I've been in Alabama and tried it. So I knew what I wanted, the catfish and the Gumbo Soup that I like. I don't care much for the messy Cajun seafood that my wife and daughter are going to get. There are 2 combos, and they decided to get the big one, combo 2 for $90. My son wanted the chicken Cajun Fried Rice to be safe and will try some of the messy Cajun seafood. The garlic fries seemed to be tasty so we ordered one basket. For my fries that come with the basket, my daughter wanted to try the lemon pepper fries so I ordered that for her. - Catfish basket and Gumbo Soup (with rice): For me this combo is perfect for a dinner. The price is reasonable. The catfish fried perfectly, crispy outside and juicy inside, the fries are great, a little sour for me but I had the garlic fries were wonderful. The Gumbo Soup is amazingly tasty, the portion with rice under is not to big nor small. I would order this next time I come. - My son liked his Cajun Fried Rice, he ate it all in a heart beat, he also liked my catfish and the garlic fries too, not too crazy about the lemon pepper fries. - My daughter and my wife keep complementing the seafood inside a big bag, dumped it on the big plates: snow crabs (1lb), crawfish (1lb), green mussels (1lb),. The sauce was so tasty, the house sauce. The apron and gloves are a must. I had some sausages and crab, the sauce is confirmed excellent. My daughter ordered some steam rice to eat with the sauce and it's perfect. The sauce is a little spicy, she finished her Shirley Temple so fast and started with ice water. We did finish everything, even the sauce LOL. The damage was $183 which to us was reasonable with the amount of food and the quality of the food. We'll definitely come back here again. Finished up after a round of golf and wanted something spicy, so we headed over to Cajun Crack'n for some seafood boil. When we arrived, we got a table right away. We opted to go for their special deal which was $43.99 with a 1lb of head off shrimp and snow crab legs, plus an extra 1/2 pound of sausage, and extra corn plus lemon pepper fries, the total came out to around $70. The shrimp was a bit mushy and hard to peel. Crab was pretty good though. We got the spiciest they had, and yes it was actually spicy. Probably one of the better spicier sauces I've had at a seafood boil. I was surprised how thick the sauce was and it coated every bite. We enjoyed it but I wish there was more sauce, bc I think it would've helped cooked the seafood a bit more. You have the option to put it on the tray or keep it in the bag, I'd keep it in the bag to keep it warm bc on the tray, things got cold quicker. Our family was a large group but Emily here was so kind and accommodating as well as the kitchen crew down to the bar crew checking in on us with every piece of service. We were taken care of here and checked on to the fullest degree. The crew here is unforgettable every year and I always think that they train their employees to be the best with each new batch of folks. The shrimp was good and I went with the house flavoring. It had a good flavor but a little more garlicky than I would have liked. Should have gone with lemon Pepper. That shrimp though was good. The basked on the other hand was not at good. The breading for the fish tasted like older or like overcooked and you can see in the picture and determine for yourself usually fried catfish is usually a little lighter in color and lightly breaded. The service was awesome as I was welcomed in but then the servers got busy with bigger parties and then get as good as service toward the end of the meal. Not sure I would eat here again. I was a loyal customer of boiling crab for 15 years. But after couple last trips i got food poisoned with old oysters. My bank teller told me to come here. Flavor may not as great as boiling crab but the shrimps are way bigger, the corn is more fresh and juicy vs boiling crabs dry corn on the cobb. The sausage is soft and tender vs boiling crab's dry sausage that tastes old. Also the ladies here smile alot and they are so friendly and attentive. I dont know who served me last time her name starts with M. She was so nice and helpful. She went up and beyond to help me with my dine in experience. Try going here. Definitely come early especially for the weekends cause this place gets packed quickly. The location was quite nice and it's very spacious inside considering some other seafood places tend to be more packed. The food was good especially the crab and the clams. Some of the shrimp were a bit on the overcooked side but it wasn't that big of an issue. I kinda wish that they spread out the orders instead of concentrating certain items within certain bags. Between the lobster, crab, shrimp, mussel, clams we ordered some sausages and hard boiled eggs only to find that majority of them were concentrated within one or two out of the five bags. The other thing was that the amount of sauce in each were inconsistent, at least half of the bags barely had any and you'd have to grab one of the others to dip them. I did appreciate the bib and the glove but the gloves were so flimsy that they would easily rip especially by your thumb. Because we took some of the fam out there we got to try so many different items. We had seafood boils with crab, shrimp, FRESH crawfish, and mussels (they were out of clams that day). Nieces realized mussels taste like larger clams and loved them. We also tried onion rings, fried calamari, chicken wings, garlic noodles, and Cajun chowder. The star of the show for me was the fresh crawfish, that was a freshness and flavor you could not fake, it was amazing. The kids loved the chowder and crab (as all big backs should). One thing I would pass on next time is the calamari, it was all rings so for a blind man like myself I couldn't see the difference between that and the onion rings.
