My work ordered lunch from here on Saturday and I got the chicken Cesar wrap with avocado. Well I got food poisoning. I'm also pregnant so it made it even more worrisome and I had to miss work. At this point, not a great second try for this place and I now never plan on going back. Our family LOVES California Chicken Cafe. We have all of our celebrations catered from them. The manager Andrew is always extremely helpful and so kind! He goes out of his way to make sure we are taken care of and have everything we need. Their presentation is phenomenal and we have received many compliments on how delicious the food is from our guests! We will keep using CCC for all of our events! This place was a terrible experience. I had one simple question at the counter. Does your Chinese dressing have any dairy or cream? The lady told me she doesn't know 100 percent, gave me this brochure, then told me to email the representative written on the brochure. I then said, "Ok, you don't know 100%, but tell me what you do know?" She looked dumbfounded and repeated the same thing like a machine. I asked for the manager and I got the exact same response from him. I've ordered at the location serveral times for my office and every time they mess up some how. They either forget to add the dressing or they forget to add the lettuce in the salad so you're left with a carrot salad smh. Anyway most recent mess up was actually for today and I used Postmates.. I don't go to CCC very often as it's a little out of my way but I was craving a wrap so I made my way there Saturday. I got all the way home and poured the red salsa on my wrap, took a bite and it was NOT good. It didn't take me long to figure out that it was the salsa that killed it for me. I didn't pay attention before but after that bite, I realized that it looked nothing like it had in the past. I took out a jar of salsa I had in the pantry and poured some out and it looked, smelled and tasted just like the stuff CCC gave me. This place is stupid one person taking orders and delivering food to cars my order was suppose to be ready at 1:05 and I finally got it at 1:30 I asked for 3 sets of silverware and got zero paid for two extra packets of pita and received zero. California is one of my fav places to eat. I grew up eating here because my parents worked at this same location when I was little. Recently we noticed every time we picked up our food something is always missing. we called to tell them and they say they will be better next time. Yesterday I placed a pick up order.
