I was surprised to see 15 people waiting outside waiting for a table, we put our name on the list and were told it would be an hour wait, that's ok with me , that's one more hour of shopping. We returned in an hour and asked about our table, it would be another 30 minutes until our table was ready, we returned again and they said they were sorry and it would be another 20 minutes, when something isn't going right it seems Covid is the response you get and you are supposed to just accept that. We did get seated by a very friendly waitress who took our drink order, lemonade and coke, when my drink came it looked like berry lemonade so I took a drink and dang it, it was a mixed drink, they brought me the wrong thing, I don't drink so it tasted like crap. We did get our food ordered and when it came it was ok, I ordered a steak and my wife ordered a pasta dish , we were starving by now. My steak was cooked good and the potato side was good, the bread was good , my wife liked her seafood pasta dish , it was good. My conclusion is that our experience was good. Came here for lunch after a shopping trip. We hadn't eaten at CPK in many years and any concerns over a decline in quality were immediately dispelled. The free bread was great as was the tortilla soup. For our main event we ordered the chicken piccata and pepperoni pizza. Both came out perfect. Another long time pizza chain catering to a slightly fusion approach. This is a place that has dropped many of my favorites over the years and constantly changes the menu looking for something new. If you don't mind that this place makes good pies. They also have many other non-pizza items such as salads and pastas. The food is pretty pricey for what you really get. I picked CPK for my birthday dinner this week because I really wanted their DELICIOUS mac n cheese and it did not disappoint!! Our waiter was very kind and attentive, table was clean, and the manager even came by a couple times to check on us. The food was great as always. My only critique would be that the hostess staff were not very welcoming or friendly and the wait time was longer than expected, but once we were inside and seated everything was wonderful. I think one area they stand out is service. They definitely train their staff to be very courteous to customers. Additionally, the food is delicious. I'm only giving this three stars because I think the price range for what you are getting is a bit high considering it's pizza. However, I would and have come back here again. The bbq chicken pizza is their signature favorite. It is topped with gouda cheese, red onions, cilantro and their "legendary" bbq sauce. The pizza was tasty and perfectly baked with a crispy crust. I was surprised how delicious the fettuccine entree turned out. The garlic cream sauce was flavorful and paired well with the pasta. I thought the food was pretty good as well as the service. Came out to dinner with my family on a Sunday evening. The restaurant was pretty empty and plenty of seats were available. We were seated quickly after walking in. Our server brought out the complimentary bread and olive oil to our table. The bread was not warm and it was just okay. Fresh loaves were done being made for the day. However, the side of butter that can be requested always compliments the bread. For our main dishes, we ordered a Thai Crunch salad with the dressing on the side and a Spicy Chipotle Chicken Pizza minus the meat with a cauliflower crust. Our food took a while to arrive and everything came out incorrect. The salad had the dressing on top even when it was requested to be served on the side and the pizza came with a regular crust. We had to wait for a while more and finally our food arrived with the correct modifications. The food was not great. The pizza did not seem warm. My family and I were disappointed with the slow service. Our server tried their best to be helpful. I would not recommend the food, CPK is not like how it used to be. It's completely different, we didnt devour it like we normally do in this house. The crust is now fluffy instead of the thin crispy crust theyve had for years. The kids mac and cheese is the same. For me,,, this will no longer be a go to place for a good thin crust pizza and salad. I understand Pizza consistency can vary. Stay away! Bad customer service experience tonight. Extremely unprofessional staff. I arrived at the restaurant tonight at 8:40pm on a Monday (June 26). Staff seemed visibly annoyed when we walked in. I asked a host if our party of 2 could be seated. She said sure but then was interrupted by the server working who said they needed to check with their manager first before seating us. The host never came back and we were left waiting in front of remaining staff who remained silent. The whole situation was just so unprofessional and made us feel unwelcome and awkward. We ended up just walking out. I totally understand getting to a restaurant last minute but with 45 min til close I felt we were okay on time. Either way, the staff could have handled the situation completely differently. We have been longtime patrons of the mall and surrounding restaurants and have never experienced this kind of unwelcoming treatment by any of the surrounding restaurants before. Do better CPK. Went for Lunch two people and were luck enough to get a smart beautiful young lady Amanda as our server. She had just returned from Vagus in a bus as South West had cancelled her flight. She helped order the CPK Thai Peanut Chicken Pasta and the CPK Kung Pao Spagetti pizza. Both are delecious and mor than enough for two people. Very rude and poor customer service. One of my families favorite restaurant chains to visit, we decided to stop by on the 3rd of Jan for the 1st time of the year as we were enjoying a great family day and were in the area. We ordered about $150 worth of food but my burger was super salty and very well done, when I asked for medium well. I was very hungry after being out all day so I took one more bite just to make sure I could bare with it but I decided I would ask them to remake it because it was way too salty and crispy & I thought I should have it the way I wanted for $25 a burger. When I told my waitress the 1st thing she said was "well you already ate most of it" which both my wife and I felt was so rude. My wife told her she shouldn't be commenting like that, and I told her if it's a problem they don't have to remake it, her comment actually made me loose my appetite, as if I was trying to get a free meal or something. I just bought $150 worth of food, you think I'm trying to steal a couple of bites of a sandwich, she reluctantly said she'd bring me a new plate of both fries and a burger but only returned with a burger. Nice seating area and a good variety of items on the menu. The wait was about 35 minutes around 2pm on a Sunday, not too bad. The servers were friendly and the food was given to us a decent amount of time. The only thing is to be cautious with the chicken dishes, I found a small bone in mine but the server/manager was gracious and took care of that for us. Felt bad for the lone dude that was working the counter. Clearly short staffed. He was very friendly and apologetic for the tardiness of the order. Now on to the food. Upon arriving home, we were very disappointed. We like CPK, but apparently it is something you need to enjoy dining in, which we normally do. The pizza was just not good. My friend and I just dined in and had the sweetest, caring waitress of all times. Her name was Mackenna (ken). She was attentive, patient and always thought one step ahead, which made our dining experience enjoyable. She brought us waters, more bread, 'to go' boxes and even wrote the remaining amount on the gift card without even having to ask. I haven't had this kind of service in a long time.
