There is a parking structure, I think its called "Plaza de Fuentes". The first 90 minutes free with a restaurant validation. As I walked in, the host greeted me and asked for my parking ticket for validation. I got sat and waited for my friend to arrive. I've been dining at CPK over the past 20 years and things change. I'm not sure, but the bread pieces and size are getting smaller each time I come to the restaurants. The restaurant was quiet, and had few diners when I arrived. By the time I left, there were more diners enjoying the happy hour menu. I ordered some items from the happy hour menu for my friend who was joining me after her work shift. The happy hour items came out super fast, faster than my actual order of garlic cream sauce pasta with chicken! As the items were sitting there, getting cold, I could tell our server, Britt, was getting a little worried that the quality of food would diminish. She kept wondering when my friend was going to show up. I assured her that it's okay, and we understand. I appreciated her commitment to ensure the food quality was great upon consumption. She even offered to heat it up for us. That's great service. Also, when paying for the check, she noticed the pricing didn't match the happy hour prices. She quickly went to get her manager's override and ensure we paid the correct amount. That shows that she goes above and beyond for her guests!

Our closest CPK's in Charlotte have closed so it's been a while since I've visited one, I was excited to go to one, especially IN California! I'm not sure if my tastes have changed or what but unfortunately it didn't quite live up to my mental hype. I ordered a Thai Chicken pizza and a blueberry lemon drop cocktail. The cocktail was just ok. We have a Brixx pizza at home and I love their Thai chicken pizza, I guess that's what I was expecting when I ordered this pizza and I did not like it as much. The crust was not as good, the pizza just wasn't as flavorful, and it seemed a bit dry. I had almost ordered the Charcuterie Salad so I ordered that to go the next day for lunch. It was a fun idea in theory but I just didn't care for the textures or the flavors.

I truly love California Pizza Kitchen. I still remember the first time I went -- it was for a business lunch at the California Pizza Kitchen - Redondo Beach location. I'll never forget ordering the Thai Chicken Salad. From that day on, I was hooked -- the pastas, the pizzas, the salads... all of it! This review is based on my takeout experiences at California Pizza Kitchen - Pasadena. I've also dined both indoors and on the patio there, and it's always been a pleasant experience. Curbside takeout has consistently been smooth and convenient. Recently, I noticed that the pickup process uses an automated system that remembers your previous order and asks if you'd like to reorder it. It seems to function like a chatbot, which actually makes things quick and easy -- especially if you're a creature of habit and tend to order the same thing. My order is always ready on time, the staff is friendly, and the food presentation is consistently good. I'd say the biggest downside is the bread. I remember when they used to serve a generous, satisfying piece. Lately, it's been a small, underwhelming portion. Overall, curbside service at this location is excellent -- but the bread portions have been extremely disappointing on multiple occasions. I recommend this location but be aware.

I love my local CPK restaurant in Pasadena. The staff and managers are very friendly and are excellent at customer service. I was served today by Abigail . She's the sweetest new person I met here recently. She's so efficient and polite. Great job guys. You hire the right person for your company.

It's been decades since I've last been to a CPK but time limitations brought us here with my senior aunt. She suggested this place since it was 2 blocks away. Didn't have big expectations but knew the food would be fine. We got there during happy hour which had great cool deals! My kid enjoyed the HH pizza and guac/chips. Reviewing the menu the lunch specials sound pretty terrific I'll be back to try that. Our server was great and personable.

It's nice they do parking validation, just make sure to park at the east West Bank underground parking lot area reserved for the restaurants. The wait was surprising but eventually we got seated. The pizzas were really nice, we also had pasta, but I really enjoyed mine a lot more because it was super savory. Overall nice place, we came here for a birthday deal so it's an entree off. We also got a take home pizza that was really nice which you can get on discount for ordering in.

I haven't been to CPK in a while but now understand why this one is always busy. Great service and super friendly management team are totally on top of things. Nice new menu with low calorie and keto options as well too since they were recently acquired by a new restaurant group. our server when we dined at the bar was excellent! parking in hotel basement parking lot is validated. patio seating too.

I ordered online and it was done within 20 mins. Parking is underground in the garage. I got the BBLT sandwich and thought all the flavors combined together very well. I like how the burrata cuts through the saltiness of the bacon. The Thai crunch salad was good too. I like the sauce that it comes with.

To be honest, I haven't been to a CPK in years, but my coworkers suggested it for lunch since they have some solid specials for a good price. They offer a bunch of 1/2 + 1/2 combos, and I went with the BBQ chicken salad and a personal Thai chicken pizza. The salad was tasty fresh and flavorful. The pizza was okay; I remember liking it more in the past, but this time the crust was a little hard and dry. They also give you free bread with olive oil and vinegar, and I really liked that dip. Overall, it was a decent lunch for the price. Service was quick, which is great if you're on a lunch break if you're in a hurry, I'd recommend ordering from the bar.

The food here is soooo hearty and soooo good! I got the full size BBLT sandwich with the tomato bisque soup, and my husband got the full size club sandwich with the tomato bisque. Service was fast and friendly!! It's also very nice in here. Also, just an FYI register to be a rewards member and they give you a free starter (appetizer). We chose the white corn chips and guacamole. My son got the kid's crispy chicken. Everything was absolutely delicious! Will definitely be back. 10/10

We had dinner at the CPK location in Pasadena,CA. I had four guests. We were seated in less than 5 minutes. Some bread and herbed olive oil came quickly. Not the best tasting olive oil. The food came and was hot and fresh. I ordered the Shrimp Scampi Zucchini. It looked and tasted good, but there was a lot of pasta water on the bottom of my bowl. My guest ordered a Thai chicken pasta dish; which she said tasted a bit off from what it should taste like. Service was o.k. But a bit slow, as our server had other tables to handle. I ordered a Take n' Back pizza; which the server did not place the order. We had to wait for it to be prepared. Cons: The Pizza dough is not risen when baked. There is a lack of tomato sauce and cheese. Overall taste is just o.k. They can do better. Cost cutting? Parking: Underground with validation by restaurant. Rating: 3 Stars

Let's start off with the menu online, it's completely wrong and for a different business. The place wasn't packed at all but we still ended up waiting about 20 min to be seated. The waiter came to take our order and we saw him again when he brought the check. The kids pizza was cold and not cooked well, the spinach dip was a funky color and garlic heavy just like the kung pao noodles, there were huge chunks of it. But by far the worst one was the burger, the potatoes was hard as a rock and dry, the burger was cold, the cheese on there was cold and they didn't even ask how I wanted it to be cooked. Overall a very bad experience and I would never step foot at this location again!

Beautiful inside with two separate downstairs areas and one upstairs. Don't approve of the large TVs in the bar area but the sound was off at least. Once we were seated (and by the way, the hostesses were super friendly and hospitable), Joe was our helpful server. We ordered a Last Word and a Negroni with brussel sprouts to start with. The drinks were ok, the brussel sprouts were super tasty and well charred. Next we ordered the pork chop and chicken skillet. I wanted to order the peri peri chicken but they were out of it. We also ordered a boulevardier and espresso martini. The pork and chicken were so tender and flavorful! My espresso martini tasted like a smooth liquid dessert . Very loud inside. My husband could barely hear me. Curious about the rooftop seating so maybe a reservation for up there next time, maybe I'll get to try the peri peri chicken. Highly recommend!

We had a reservation so we were seated right away on the second floor, just above the bar. The music was a little on the loud side so conversation was a little strained. The food was absolutely amazing. Our server was very friendly and informative but was not quite as attentive as we would expect for an establishment like this. This was our first time here, so we had to try the Asparagus Fries. The asparagus was cooked to perfection but the batter did not have much flavor. Members of our party ordered the California Salad, a Veggie Burger, the Meatloaf and a Picante Pizza. The California Salad was smaller than expected but delicious. The Veggie Burger was excellent! The Meatloaf was the hit of the table. It was so good that my wife did not offer a taste to any of us. She was in food Heaven. The pizza was exactly as described and tasted wonderful. Since we were celebrating my birthday, our server brought me a delicious piece of double chocolate cake with a candle in it. Nice touch!! We also had one of their Warm Butter Cake's with some excellent vanilla ice cream on top. Absolutely wonderful!. This may be our new "go-to" place. Looking forward to return to savor the other items on the menu. Their drinks looked delicious as well, so we will definitely try those too.

Had my first lilikoi foam in Maui and I love that I'm starting to see it around Los Angeles now. Adds such a punch of flavor to an after we balanced drink. For food, we started with the bacon deviled eggs and shrimp taquitos. Those deviled eggs were lightly fried, which was different, then had apple wood smoked bacon on top, just a really tasty bite. The shrimp taquitos were also not what you would expect, nice and light but still very good. Entrees we went with the center cut fillet and the prime rib dip with swiss cheese on a brioche bun. That sandwich just melts if your mouth after dipping it in the jous, and the cheese was the perfect accompiament. The fillet was cooked perfect as well, coming out medium rare. Overall, great restaurant in Pasadena. Definitely get the Mai Tai, Devine eggs and prime rib dip. Taquitos were good and, if you're feeling like another hg er appetizer, definitely a way to go . The fillet, also great but I feel you can get it anywhere.

They had the game and we were seated behind a divider that was away from the TV and the bar area. First and foremost, the waitress was nice. She told us that we couldn't order anything beyond the brunch menu until 2pm and that also applied to the cocktails. Fine, my friend and I ordered what was on the menu and hung out until our 3rd party arrived. We were talking and had to talk a little louder given the atmosphere on the other side of the divider, which wasn't a problem for us. The experience took a nosedive when our initial waitress swapped shifts with another waitress. We had to close out tab with initial waitress and start a new tab with new waitress, which wasn't an issue for us. We ordered a few rounds of drinks and were trying to still talk amongst ourselves. However, we were hushed and told by our new waitress to quiet down a few times. I don't know what Karens were sitting on the other side of the divider, but that side of the restaurant was beaming with loud cheers and noises from the other patrons over the big game. I thought this was sort of ironic given the atmosphere of the restaurant and we couldn't even laugh amongst ourselves, without being warned by the killjoy police (our new waitress). The food was okay and the drinks were pretty good, but I'll pass on this place, since they seem very uniform with their rules. Strangely enough, a former dating prospect suggested this place to me 6 months ago, but it's stuck up like he was. The new waitress definitely wasn't happy to be there, and it showed. We spent more than $250 that day, and we'll gladly take our money to other options west of this place in the future.

I had sent my cousin a few restaurant options in the area that looked good, and Pez Coastal Kitchen was one that we both liked the most. Best decision ever! Pez Coastal Kitchen has a lively ambiance made for large groups with their large booths and large tables. Somehow it is lively while still being very intimate as their lush décor gives it an intimate vibe. Since we have light appetites, we decided to share the Cioppino ($49) which has shrimp, clams, mussels, chicken, fish, tomatoes, parmesan gnocchi and cheesy garlic bread. Yum!! Wow everything about this dish was magnificent. Every single ingredient was cooked perfectly. The gnocchi had the fluffiest texture. The broth was so delicious we can drink it. We asked for 2 more pieces of bread, which I was happy to pay for, but I checked the receipt and they didn't charge us for it. How nice!! And even though I can't even any more savory foods, we had room for their Panna Cotta ($15). The panna cotta was topped with crumbles of their shortbread cookie. Both the panna cotta and the short bread cookie layers were good. There was also berries with chocolate drizzles that were good. There was a layer of over gelatinous raspberry that was thick and rubbery, which I could do without, but the overall dessert was good. While we were here, we even ran into a celebrity... like a globally known celebrity that would be recognized by multiple generations. I don't want to ruin their privacy but I just want to comment on how this restaurant is so amazing, even celebrities come here. Definitely the highlight of our night! We were so happy we came here for an incredible meal, and then even a celebrity sighting. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. I know they have a fancy whole fried fish dish but we'll need more of the family with us to eat such a large item, and of course try more of chefs dishes. Our reservation was at 8pm on Saturday night. The restaurant kicked us out literally at 10:15. They turned off the lights at 10pm. We asked for waters and the server said - we have to give a bottled water and you need to leave because we are close. Seriously, it was at 10:15 on a Saturday night when we stepped out of the restaurant as they literally shut the doors. It's bad for business. We ended up at Magnolia House for a late lunch/early dinner. They also serve breakfast/brunch only on weekends. Walked in around 4:30pm and we were greeted by Brian, one of the managers. Brian was the standout star of the whole experience! His energy was exceptional and he is such a great conversationalist. He checked on us several times throughout our meal and made sure we were doing well. He on his own was HANDS DOWN a five star human being. At first, he wanted to seat us in the back corner but I told him the table was too small and he accommodated us with a bigger table. Our server Kiana came up to the table with a pleasant smile and greeting to take our drink orders. I got a glass of cranberry juice along with some water. My son got the American Dream cocktail along with some water. We skipped on dessert. From 4-6pm, they have a happy hour menu with some of their cocktails and shareable plates. The portions are just a bit smaller and the prices are a little lower. It's a good way to sample different items. I think we got a good variety of food to enjoy. To start, we got the Little Gem Salad. It was such a unique combination of flavors and SUPER delicate/light. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The next starter was the Zucchini and Feta Fritters, which was good but not the best out of everything else we ordered. The zucchini was a bit mushy but the batter it was fried in was crispy. Another starter we shared were the Moroccan Spiced Chicken Wings. These wings are gigantic and very flavorful. They definitely pack some heat, so be careful. I don't think the A/C was NOT working to begin with, so the place was already hot. The wings made us sweat even more. For entrées, we got the burger and the pork belly. Brian said they are known for their burger and after taking the first bite, it's clear as to why. It was absolutely PERFRCTION. So delicious! The bun, the meat, the cheese, the onions, and the crispy bacon...all of it mixed together into the perfect burger. I had wanted to add some mushrooms and avocado to it, but Kiana said they were unable to do it. I also asked for lettuce and she said that would be an extra charge. What extra charge for lettuce? We still got charged for avocado when the bill came, but they took it off once we mentioned it. The pork belly was also very tender, flavorful, and crispy. It's just hard to compete with the burger! We also got an order of the Belgian Fries to share and we were both pleasantly surprised at how good they were. The fries are salty and cut pretty thick. The sauce that came on the side was so yummy. We asked for a small extra cup to-go. All in all, the food was great and we liked everything. The vibe of the restaurant wasn't really all that for me. Brian genuinely made up for anything that was lacking in the atmosphere. He is such a wonderful asset to the restaurant and their company. The restaurant itself has been here for about 15 years now and it used to be a very old house. You can tell when you look around. They did a good job with the renovations, but you can see the different areas/rooms. I think they tried to keep the casual comfort of a home, while making it a slightly elevated experience. It was very clean everywhere, especially the bathrooms. They have one gender neutral bathroom, one for men, and one for women. No private parking, so you'll have to park on the street and put money in the kiosk. They also had an outdoor seating. Pretty BIG, only took picture of one side. They also have 2 small TVs. In the bar area and inside their cute lounge. I normally like to try new places, especially when I'm in Pasadena, so I'm not sure if I'll come back here. Maybe if Brian is working, it would definitely be worth stopping by again! Thank you all..

We chose Holy Saints to announce our baby's gender with our parents and we had an amazing time during our intimate dinner here. Prosciutto was a supplement here and needs it imo for that oomph, otherwise a fine risotto dish but would pass unless it speaks to you - Barnyard Bolognese - a bit underwhelming to start, just too one-note for me, but it eventually grew on me and would get it again if I wanted a rich pasta - Duck Magret Au Poivre - easily my favorite dish here and what I would come back for and recommend for people, tender duck with the right amount of fat and a great sauce.
