Their jerk chicken is simply outstanding. It's HOT, seasoned well, and very tasty. Please don't stop making it!

Food is delicious, for certain. Not a lot of ambience or room to move but yummy Caribbean food!

It was cooked well but could have used a little more seasoning. The complimentary sauces helped, but didn't quite make up for it. I swapped the asparagus for broccoli rabe, and theirs was fantastic. Our waitress mentioned it gets mixed reactions, but honestly, that may just be broccoli rabe being naturally bitter. If you're a fan, get it. The rice was buttery and flavorful too. My companion's lamb chops were also very well seasoned. The fresh ginger juice was delicious, with ginger as the star and the pineapple and mint more subtle. Our waitress was helpful, though an internal miscommunication meant I didn't find out they were out of the mashed potatoes I ordered until after our food arrived. Also, bring a layer! Even on a high-80s day, that AC was COLD, and I normally love a cool room. Overall, there were a few misses, but I'm open to returning at some point, especially to explore the Italian side of the menu given the chef/owner spent time studying in Italy.

There's a camaraderie in the room that invites you to slow down, connect, and truly experience both the conversation and the food. Everything feels considered. My best friend and I each ordered the prix fixe menu, and it was a journey from start to finish. I began with the Spicy Corn & Coconut Soup--honestly, unforgettable. The crispy shallots added just the right amount of texture against the velvety base, and each spoonful layered flavor in a way that felt both comforting and elevated. For my main, I had the kichuri, and Chef Alex Guzman absolutely shines here. He is a star--full stop. There's a clarity and confidence in his cooking that you can taste. The cilantro chutney was perfection, and the way the mint lingers alongside the spice... it's the kind of balance that only comes from someone who truly understands their craft. You can feel his care in every bite. I ended with the key lime pie, and all I can say is thank you. The whipped cream was fresh and airy, the lime zest bright without overpowering, and the crust tied everything together beautifully. It felt like a thoughtful, intentional close to an already incredible meal. I highly recommend starting with the guava mocktail, then pairing your main with the fig mocktail--both are perfectly crafted and complement the dishes so well. Also, sit at the bar. Let Dan guide you through the experience. Trust his recommendations--you will not be steered wrong. He elevates the entire evening. And the playlist? Y'all really did that.

We both had Brussel Sprouts, good, but the bites without the sauce did taste like bland Brussel sprouts. I had the lamb ribs, very good. They do warn you before that the ribs have a bit of fat on them, I think in the context of NY restaurant week I'm happy to pay it but as a solo entree, the amount of fat vs meat would have annoyed me. My friend had the duck, she enjoyed it. But it is very much salad with a side of duck, I believe she had 6 pieces of duck (pictured) and then a mango, arugula and onion salad. Dessert was very good, but I do hope those are not the usual portion sizes and maybe they just served smaller for NY restaurant week. Which I really didn't mind as I was full from the entree and sprouts. Servers were really nice, this place seems to have its regulars and a nice garden sitting area towards the back. Would overall recommend

The Edge's menu purports to blend "the flavors of Jamaica & England with a little New York…read moreattitude." My friend and I were excited to try the Jamaican side of the menu. We started with drinks. She ordered the passion fruit margarita and I went with the tamarind mango margarita. We were told the margaritas are made with a wine based cocktail instead of tequila or mezcal since the restaurant only serves beer and wine. We've never had margaritas made with wine before, which should have been our first clue to skip the cocktails. Unfortunately we were feeling adventurous and neither of us ended up enjoying our drinks. Mine lacked any hint of tamarind, had a subtle mango flavor, and tasted more like a mocktail. My friend said hers tasted like a tart beverage. We ordered the codfish fritters to start and they were a delicious appetizer. We shared the jerk chicken and pancakes and the plantain crusted crab cakes for our entrees. The pancakes were light and fluffy. Unfortunately the jerk chicken was a huge letdown. We were expecting authentic Jamaican flavors. As someone who grew up eating jerk chicken and has enjoyed the real thing in Jamaica numerous times, this wasn't it! I was also surprised to be served a chicken cutlet instead of an actual breast, thigh, or wing portion of chicken. We did not enjoy the chicken. The crab cakes were well done and topped with a stale tasting chip. The fried plantains that accompanied the dish were mushy. We did not enjoy this dish either. My friend ordered the housemade chocolate chip bread pudding, which she said had everything under the sun on it. She enjoyed it, but said it didn't taste like any bread pudding she had ever tasted. Overall, the restaurant's concept is cool, but not well executed. The service was good minus the delayed water glass refills. Unfortunately, the food and drinks were a huge disappointment!

Decided to try an order for delivery via GrubHub and compare dishes with two separate noodles, based on what they recommended for each best for delivery: Beijing Bolo with a fermented black bean ground pork sauce, a.k.a. Zhejiang Mien, including Size #2 pressed noodles thick like udon, scallions, and cilantro, plus Cold Sesame Noodles utilizing handpulled lagman. Both dishes I ordered medium spicy. The Beijing Bolo came in a bowl, while I needed to plate the Cold Sesame dish. Both were flavorful with tender noodles. Next time, more likely to go in person over delivery, and explore other dishes on their menu. It's a great option particularly for this neighborhood! Definitely would recommend trying out The Handmade Noodle!

I'd definitely give this place another shot with other noodle dishes. The restaurant is mainly just bar stool seating. Service isn't really existent since the host primarily focuses on the to go orders pickups.
