This is a better than average Carl's Jr. The staff are friendly and will ask if you need anything more while you sit. Inside they have it always stocked at the drink station and the salsa bar, and both are spotless. The restaurant itself is clean inside and out, and the food is always fresh and tasty. I don't like fast food, nor do I expect an amazing burger when I go and get fast food. I was pressed for time on my lunch break and went to the drive thru at this Carl's Jr. The lady who took my order was really nice. She even asked me if I wanted anything else after I already paid and got my order. Other fast food places don't do that. I mean, I could've wanted ketchup, or ranch, or have been obnoxious and realized I wanted criss cut fries even though I didn't order it and make the people behind me wait on me. I didn't, I said no thanks and was on my way. So I bite into my burger and I was awe struck, you got it...over a fast food burger. 1. The bread isn't rough and it doesn't scrape the roof of my mouth, and it doesn't have that questionable "is this stale?" taste to it either. Here's the kicker it has a true charbroiled taste. Not like other places that claim they charbroil their burgers. I'm sure they charbroil them in the Midwest, ship it over here and when you order it they warm it in the microwave. Nope, that's not the flavor profile I was getting, it was legit. I don't know what sorcery you're pulling over there, Carl's Jr, but keep it up. Did I somehow stumble into the town of Stepford or some fast food parallel universe? Gotta say that the food was standard Carl's Jr. fare. Yes, the service is freakishly nice . . . in a strange, but good way. Stepford employee coming up to our table: "How's everything?" Friend: "Do you have any ketchup?" Thinking that the employee would just point out to where the lil' packets are. . . Stepford employee: "How much would you like?" WTF? Did I hear that correctly? And, he comes back with some ketchup packets. Asked us if anything fun was going on tonight. and . . "Do you need anything else?" Another employee joked about bringing out a peppermill for my friend. I am not a fan of fast food, but this is so convenient to my office. For a fast food place I will have to say the really have it nailed when it comes to customer service. They have their employees walk around the restaurant and ask how the customers meals are and if they need any other condiments to make their meal better. They even bus the tables while your eating. Didn't expect much from this Carl's Jr. But my experience here enlightened me. Walked in and restaurant looked tidy and cleaned. Was welcomed by a polite young man. Helped me scout the menu and even convinced me to try their new Truffle Burger. Food came out quick, and the server Eli checked up on me and made sure even after I got my food I everything was good. I wouldn't normally bother to review fast food, but the service at the drive-through here is ridiculously bad. Super rude and screwed up my order. I ordered a burger and fried zucchini, and go to pay and she hands me a drink. So I say, "I didn't order a drink." She says, "yeah you did, you ordered a small sprite." So I ask for the manager, because she's being so rude right then and before, and she leaves for five minutes. Finally some lady comes back, who doesn't identify herself as the manager, and hands me a bag, saying "this is your order." And I'm wondering how she knew it was my order when they didn't get my intended order to begin with! I went out to grab some dinner for my family, and the rest of my family said that their orders were delicious, but my big chicken fillet was extremely dry sadly, which is my favorite thing to get at Carl's. I have a dirty little secret. I am a huge Carl's Jr. fan. Most of us don't indulge in fast food frequently anymore because we are becoming more health conscious. I know, I know, there are healthier selections to be made, but when I indulge in Carl's Jr. I want the Sante Fe chicken sandwich, you know? Or maybe even a big, juicy hamburger. I love that Carl's Jr. is traditionally one of those establishments where you can count on your food to be hot, well made and made to your specifications. That's been my experience in any case, especially up in Auburn and the one in Rocklin. Reliable. This is NOT the case with the Carl's Jr. in Lincoln on Ferrari Ranch Rd. I've tried to like them....three times. They are so close to my house; it would be so nice if they were what I've come to expect a Carl's Jr. to be. In each of the three tries I've tried, including the one tonight, they have failed to produce what I asked for at the window. Maybe their drive through staff is less than adequate? Maybe. But I called to complain to the Manager this time and, right before she said, "Calm down," (I was angry, but I was calm, absolutely) and hung up on me in the middle of a sentence, I recognized that she was the woman standing right behind the guy at the drive through window, clearly in charge. What has happened? When did it become against the rules of commerce to verbalize your complaint when a business, in effect, takes your money and exchanges it for something you did not ask for and cannot eat (in my case, I cannot eat cheese; my order was coated in cheese- inedible)? I am not so cynical that I believe that is true....yet. This young woman is not, I'll wager, representing the owner's intentions as expected. I intend to find out. If you are reading this, young lady, I intend to bring this matter to the owner, get my money back, and do my duty in reporting to said owner the behavior of his/her representatives toward his/her customers in his/her absence. In the future, it is bad business to scold an adult customer for daring to complain and then hang up on them. I worked for many years in customer service and even if the customer is irate, which I certainly was not, you use your training and skills to fix the problem. It's not that hard. Start with, "I'm so sorry. Please allow me the opportunity to earn your trust back." Does that sound hard? It's not. Saying instead, "If you would calm down, I will listen to you......click" That's likely not in the training manual. To Carl's Jr. customers, it's worth the time to go to another store for your favorite Carl's Jr. sandwich. I suspect, however, that since the place was dead at 6pm - no other customers in sight except at the In and Out and Panda Express nearby - the word is already out. read more

I just received the worst experience I've ever had at any food establishment Some b**** named Marisa constantly was rude to me I had 3 separate orders. Before I could even complete one order she kept interrupting me asking if that would complete the order. I'm very picky and don't like veggies or mayo and every time I would try and tell her she would say what kind of drink. She did this for every single thing I ordered after I got fed up with being interrupted I asked her to stop and her only response was will that complete the order. To top all of this off she messed up all the orders. I was so angry because my pregnant fiancé is allergic to onions and she put onions in it after I explained she was allergic. And when I had to park in the front of the store cause the orders were gonna take awhile which I totally get she comes to my hfs side of the truck and drops the food on her lap. I was so angry I threw the food away and just went to Burger King instead. I'm very unhappy with Carl's Jr. Right now. Visited the establishment tonight and was happily greeted by Rick. He asked each and every one of us what we wanted. Was very attentive to my children, ensuring they liked all the condiments etc. on their food. He suggested items for my indecisive child, kindly brought the items to our table, came back with ketchup, ranch extra forks. He also came back to check on us while we ate and told us to let him know if we needed anything else. My family of 5 was treated like we were in an actual restaurant not a fast food establishment. We live in Lincoln with a some what limited food choices.. We do frequent this Carl's Jr. - tonight we decided to order our dinner at the drive thru; after picking up our dog that just had surgery. Placed order.. Super Star combo with onion large size.. Missing second burger patty! Western combo - part of the patty was hard!! And Famous star with cheese on a honey wheat bun cold!! Took about 6 minutes to drive home.. Which is less time than we spent sitting in the parking lot waiting for our order to be delivered to vehicle!! We had to park; wait 7-8 minutes for food - which only to discover that when you call in and complain - Judith ** informs me that they can replace food if I want to bring it back with receipt!! This is a good Carl's Jr location and my family comes here all the time. Customer service is always great and usually they are fast with making the food. I don't like how they sometimes have you pull forward to the front from the drive through. I came through the drive through for a reason. And every once in a while we get served old food. This is very rare but since it happens on occasion I wanted to mention it. I will say that they are good about remaking food. Also, the original thick burgers are delicious! read more
