Blue magic smoothie 5/5-delicious and the blue is so pretty. Soo good I drank half before remembering to take a picture for this review! Key lime bites 4/5 It was different but grew on me the more I ate it. Coconut forward. Good size for a quick healthy snack

PROs- healthy food , varieties , service CONs - pricey [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place deserves a 5 star. Thought of giving a 4 star but the quality of food and the overall ambience/service makes it a 5 star review[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . We were near Times Square and wanted a good healthy place for lunch . When we searched google map , we saw Chopt salad place and initially went to that . Yeahhh. It was closed ! lol. As we were searching for any other salad place we looked at carrot express opposite to chopt . Wish they do more performance marketing or make it to google searches . [[HIGHLIGHT]]They had some really healthy and good options .. interiors looked good. lots of space to sit and eat [[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Was a little pricey but fine for a one time meal . Got a salad and it was really tasty .. all vegetables were fresh and good . got their signature carrot juice and it was yummy . To finish we had a homemade banana loaf cake . It was so soft and amazingly tasty . Loved the experience overall ..

If only everything healthy for you tasted this terrific! Big and tasty bowls with multiple options. Good if you're a non-meat eater too. Large and clean spot with plenty of seating. Nice staff. Bathroom too. Oh, and that carrot cake for dessert is so good.

I tried Carrot Express via a Yelp Elite event and really enjoyed it, so I decided to come back on my own time! Came at around 8:30 pm on a Wednesday for pick up and only waited just about 7 min for my food to be ready. I ordered the Liv Wrap, which was nice and warm, and paired nicely with the Cilantro Lime sauce given. Only con was that there were about 2 pieces of really overcooked and inedible chicken in my wrap, but otherwise it was very good. There's a bathroom for customers, which was clean. Tons of seating for those wanting to eat in. Overall, a nice healthy spot with friendly staff.

Great food for a healthy lunch-- excellent lentil soup, vegetarian burger, and a fresh salad with avacado. Super!

Super for a healthy lunch- very clean, very fresh and well prepared food. Lentil soup with Kale was savory, hot and perfectly made. The greens were fresh, juicy and crunchy.. like they were just cut for you!! Overall superb experience.. this is for the Lexington location

Always wanted to check out this place for lunch since it's close to my office. I went and ordered the Liv Wrap which was $18.99 (before tax). I think it's pretty expensive for a wrap but it did taste like it had high quality ingredients, esp the chicken. I did enjoy the basil pesto sauce that came on the side. The wrap was on the smaller side which was disappointing for the price you're paying. Would I get it again? Probably not, but would be open to try the bowl.

NEW SMOOTHIE PLACE ALERT!!!!! Let me say this is now my new smoothie place! The BLUE MAGIC was delicious, I've had always issues having spirulina or maca added to smoothies without masking the bitter taste but this smoothie makes it so easy to have these added on. I want to try every single smoothie on the menu. Moving on to the food, I got the salmon+ quinoa bowl to go and let me tell you it did not disappoint. The lemon sauce it comes with really complemented the sweet/sour sauce they add to the quinoa bowl. The grilled brussel sprouts and cabbage made it extra crunchy and not boring to eat as protein meal after a workout. The place looked cleaned and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The person who took my order recommended they smoothie I ordered. Will def be coming back for the protein bowls and smoothies pretty soon. Ah one more thing, I like the fact they have a nutrition chart online that lists all the items on the menu (calories, total fats, protein in grams, etc.) not a lot of places around the area have this and also this many options to eat for breakfast/lunch/dinner that can be tailored to have add. protein or be on the low calorie index.

I'm always skeptical of the rise of health-centric restaurant chains, but Carrot Express seems to be an exception to this. Their salmon platter was delicious and reflective of high quality restaurant versions where you have to pay $20 more. It was also neatly places onto the plate so that all the side items are separated (in case you're one of those folks who don't like their food touching). The smoothie was also refreshing and much better than the ones you get from those juice shops. Service was very friendly and attentive and the ambiance was spacious and cool.

I tried their blue magic smoothie. It was my first time trying and it was sooo good I ordered another one!! The food options are great. The space is big to eat and enjoy your meal (esp. with the AC on a hot humid summer day!). Their menu is not the cheapest but you pay for what you get! The quality and the portion of the food are amazing. Their servers bring your meals to you if you sit down. So please tip them well! I will come back but to the 23rd street location since it's closer to me! So glad to get a chance to try this chain out!

Checking in. Will be back to review

Walked into the well lit vibrant atmosphere w/. plenty of seating. I asked my server: Gio what he recommended, he suggested to go with the ahi tuna Poke power bowl. Gio suggested I try the carrot cake while I wait. *What a dangerous decision... I almost spoiled my dinner unnoticeably feeding myself spoon after spoon. The bowl was plentiful and so rewarding. Atleast if I was going to be eating so much food, I minus well make it a healthy choice. The ahi tuna was cooked to perfection w/. a soft juicy center as was the rice & quinoa. I went with "Julie's smoothie" for my beverage. Pineapple, orange, mango strawberry, banana & honey. None of the ingredients outshined the next, just a perfect balance of sweet & tart. Thank you I will be returning & putting my friends onto this location.

Had the oriental salad and added chicken breast - which cost a staggering $25, no bread and insufficient dressing.

Our waitress was so nice and gave us some amazing recommendations including the falafel wrap (they have a housemade edamame falafel) which was delicious and my friend argues it might be the best falafel wrap in the city. Pickled veggies, fresh falafel, the works. The waffle was also delicious and it had an addicting maple-butterscotch sauce that kept us coming back (I wish I ordered one just for myself it was that good). Can't wait to come back, Banter Brunch days will definitely be a part of my routine.

Think vintage wallpaper, little knick-knacks, and warm lighting. It's got character. I ordered the market salad with mixed greens, honeycrisp apples, goat cheese, candied pecans, and sherry vinaigrette. It was a hearty portion - super fresh and flavorful, and honestly more than I could finish (not a complaint!). I also ordered a Diet Pepsi with grenadine; they don't carry Diet Coke, which I almost docked a point for, but the mix was unexpectedly delicious. Highly recommend it. My date ordered the hanger steak and said it was absolutely amazing. Only hiccup: his first glass of wine he got came out hot... like, microwave-level warm. Fortunately, the server brought a new (cold) one and the rest of the meal was smooth sailing. Service was friendly, the vibe was homey and relaxed, and the food was solid across the board. Would definitely come back, especially for that salad and another round of grenadine magic.

The inside looked really nice with some nice pictures on the wall and lots of space for seating. They also have a downstairs that has a bar and plenty of seating. They had music playing from something in the background which was really good. The bartenders were alway asking if we needed anything so that was good. We didn't order any food but the plates that we saw looked really good. Definitely a place you need to check out if your looking for a cool spot to drink and get some bites to eat. They also have a good happy hour and from the looks of it a nice brunch with bottomless mimosas. Have to come check out this place if your in town or live near the area.

It's $25 for unlimited drinks plus food by the way. Which is sad is a deal these days. Anyway, their happy hour is solid enough for a Monday and was meeting up with a friend I hadn't seen in over a year. Place is actually very cute. There are no tvs which I appreciate and the paneling of the walls and decor with all the flowers is quite tasteful. Happy hour deals 4-7pm Mon-Fri & all night Thursday apparently: Aperol Spritz $8, Hugo Spritz $9, Paloma $10, Mules $9, Draft Beers (except Guinness) $7, House Wine $9. As well as 2 Appetizer Bites for $19.95. Not the best but not the worst. I'm normally not a Spritz kind of gal. I think watering down prosecco or wine is heinous. But it was a Monday and I didn't exactly feel like powering down into happy hour so Aperol Spritz it was which switched to a Modelo later. It was the perfect drink situation on a god awful hot as hell day. We also ordered the fish tacos and what initially were the curry fries but they brought out the Greek fries. I wasn't mad about it. Honestly was torn between the two and I don't send food back unless something really bad happened. But it was essentially a side of Caesar salad dressing with feta cheese and generous amount of herbs on a very sparse and frugal amount of crispy standard cut fries. Now I know why it's a 2 for $20 deal. The tacos were 3 in an order which I guess is typical. They weren't bad but nothing stood out to me. I'd come for the drinks or try something else on the menu.

I had a Yelp friend suggest to me to go to Sarge's Delicatessen and so we did. It was raining that evening so they weren't too busy and we got sat right away. The prices of the traditional sandwiches like pastrami, corned beef, braised beef brisket were all reasonable and the way it comes, just meat and bread is exactly how I like it. I can add mustard to every bite instead of all over the sandwich. My son and I split a pastrami and the beef brisket together to be able to sample at least two types of meats. My wife ordered the half corned beef sandwich with a bowl of French onion soup, so we got to sample a bite of each of those as well. Surprisingly we finished everything and still had room for a home made strawberry cheesecake which was amazing. If I'm being honest, I liked it better than juniors and you can read more of my review of Junior's cheesecakes on their Yelp page. Sarge's was a New York mile long walk in the drizzling rain, but it was worth it and the walk back was just as good and it allowed me to work off all the carbs.

The fries and coleslaw were excellent. The sandwiches were very good but a notch below Katz. I do recommend giving them a shot. The place exudes character and history.
