Casa Di Pizza-- Why have I neglected you? I had this pizza once before, but for some reason just never bothered returning, but I've learned my lesson. Hilltop is failing me on Pizza. I'm getting sloppy messes, and doughy pies, which are a no Bueno, but I'm glad I remembered this tiny pizza hole snugged tightly in a strip mall on Mckinley. Pepperoni is the way to go here.. nicely cut smaller pepperonis that curl up (not spicy). Cheese is just by far too boring, but honestly, any of the other pizzas looked incredibly good. I don't think you could go wrong with their specialty pies. They tout Ribs here, too, but I have yet to partake. This is a great pizza to pick up for game day, or on a Saturday night and the folks that run it are always pretty nice. Sometimes it can get a bit hectic with the orders coming in, but they'll take care of you. Daresay, I may be back here more often. Definitely recommending! read more

This is my go-to when I want pizza in the Trabue area! I like the thin-crust pizza, even though I'm usually a fan of thick crusts. It's still satiating with the bonus of bringing out the toppings' flavor. Let's talk about their Stromboli: it's delicious. Wrapped just right with the perfect amount of cheese and various toppings of your choice. They get the proportions right, because it's about quality, not quantity; their toppings are high quality. 4 stars only because I can't stand their salad pizzas with raw tomatoes and lettuce on top of otherwise deliciously unhealthy bacon, ranch, cheese, etc. Also, they don't always answer their phone, which can be disappointing. read more

I have yet to find an item on the menu that didn't end up exceeding my expectations. My family used to own a pizza place when i was growing up and I can tell this place uses quality ingredients and traditional stone-bake ovens, just like my family did. Even their most odd specialty pizzas are fantastic, namely the steakhouse pizza. I'd never had french fries on a pizza and I'd never wanted to, but after trying the steakhouse from casa di pizza I was blown away. The steakhouse is now one of my top 10 maybe even my top 5 best pizzas id ever eaten hands down. You wouldn't expect a pizza place to do fries well, but i'd say their fries are better than anywhere else, even places you'd think should be able to easily outdo everyone else. read more

Decided to try out Casa Di Pizza after seeing some pictures posted in a local Facebook pizza group I'm in. I had passed it once before in my life, but never really thought about trying it. It's in a small unassuming strip mall off McKinley, just north of 5th Avenue. Delicious pizza, definitely one of the better pizza joints in Columbus. Crust is very crispy, thin, light, airy, etc etc...it's different than your typical thin crust pizza in Columbus, but it's unique and good. They actually have really delicious ribs too, so I'd go ahead and put in an order for those too if I were you. read more

I love casa di pizza because I work on the west side and it is one of the few places that will deliver to my job and not take 2 hours. Their pizza is pretty good, but from time to time, and this may just be based on my experience from ordering delivery, I've had a couple pizzas that seemed like they were sitting in the insulated delivery pouch for too long and the cheese had a very undesirable plastic texture and the pizza overall was not hot either. But this has only happened a few times and for the most part, I would recommend them if you're in the area. read more

I'm teaching at a contractor in Columbus. In the AM they asked what I liked on my pizza. I told them a simple pepperoni, mushrooms, sausage would be fine. OMFG!!!!! This pizza was delicious! The crust was light and flakey. The sauce was rich but not overpowering. And all the toppings especially the mushrooms were very fresh. I ate half the small pizza for lunch and saved the other half to eat on my drive from Columbus to Norwalk. When I'm back in Columbus I will definitely be going to this pizza joint! read more

Last week I ordered a pepperoni pizza and dipstix from Casa Di Pizza. Contrary to what the store hour listing indicates on here, they actually are open on Fridays. I called in my order for takeout: a pepperoni pizza and dipstix. That was easy enough: I mentioned an online coupon they have as of this writing for half-off a dessert for orders of $10+ and, after briefly conferring with someone to verify the validity of the coupon, my order was complete. Interestingly, they didn't ask for a name. I've never had that happen before, but the receipt had my phone number on it, so I suppose that worked out fine. It wasn't an issue. As I walked in the front door to pay for and pick up my pizza and dessert, the woman at the register to my right had some sort of conflict and said she would never be coming back there again. To his credit, the guy working the register played it perfect, saying "Don't say that" in a sympathetic voice and managed to talk her down from whatever had her unhappy without being condescending. By the end of the transaction he seemed to have turned her around on her displeasure. I was impressed. The pizza tasted very good, and they didn't skimp on the pepperoni. I'm not sure that I would have paid full boat for the dipstix; they were good, but not $4 good. But for $2? Sure. Though if you do order them, it's probably best to have more than one person dining. I had plenty left over the next day (pizza and dipstix), and day-old dipstix aren't recommended. The hidden wet nap in there was a nice tough, though. I enjoy going to independent businesses and restaurants, and I'm glad I made the choice I did. And while I'm an NYC style pizza kind of guy, the pizza I ate was tasty. Yes, it was a bit greasy, but that comes with the territory with pepperoni pizza. In summary: the service was good, the food was scrumptious, and I plan on ordering from there again. One thing I would like to see change is the carryout spots not have the markings of what appear to have once been handicapped parking spaces. I don't know if that's in the restaurant's control, and it might not be an issue whenever the parking lot is repaved, but it was enough to prompt me to park in a regular space. read more

I love Casa, and have no idea how I haven't written a review until now! Everything I've ever had here has been great. The pizza, wings, Stromboli, subs, breadsticks...everything. The fact that you can get it in the bar next door, Cliffside, is also a nice draw. The pizza is delicious. Their crust is thin (not super thin) and crispy. Fresh toppings, and a really good sauce is what makes it for me. They've got some good signature pizzas too. The "Ziggy's Steakhouse" pizza comes with shaved ribeye, mushrooms, fries and steak sauce. It's fantastic! Their Stromboli is packed with the filling of your choice, and comes with plenty of that delicious sauce. Their wings are good sized and are sold by the pound. In case you didn't know Saturday they have a great deal for one large pizza for $7.99!! And it is truly large! Also great salads and stromboli's. Are you kidding me? I asked if they delivered to house, and was told "no". I googled mapped them at 3.8 miles. Casa Di Pizza is our go to pizza place, but the other menu items are just as good as the pizza. I like the BLT pizza, my husband likes the Buffalo Chicken Pizza. It's nice that you can order any specialty pizza in a personal size. The Italian sub is killer and the Sicilian sub is better yet; a souped up Italian sub on homemade Foccacia bread. The salads are fresh and big, you can easily share a small, and you can't beat the hand cut fries with vinegar!...Oh and best of both worlds, the Ziggy's steakhouse pizza, topped with steak, fresh cut fries, mushrooms, and A1 sauce!! read more

I finally tried this place and I had a itailian sub! I was impressed! one of the better subs I have had in Columbus If not the best I've tried and I have been in Columbus since 1994. Bread was great as well as ample cheese and meats along with fresh lettuce and tomato and banana peppers. Ill be going back to try the pizza for sure! read more

YUM!!! We got the New York White, but I cheated and asked for red sauce. It was SO good. I was really impressed and will most definatly be back soon. We split a medium, and it was more than enough for two. Even two that eat a lot, because we do. The cheesesticks were very tasty too, but I would love to see them make another version with their pizza dough instead of what I think was a sub bun? The staff was super friendly too! I know some people who live near by this place and they are always talking about how good the pies are and the wings; so a few nights ago I finally got to try it and find out what all the fuss was about. There was just two of us so we ordered a medium pep w/ extra sauce, had it delivered and it was on time, really hot, and had those tiny peperoni's I enjoy so much on my plain pep pizzas. The crust was a thin type, but not as thin as I had wished, but never the less it was good and worth noting. Crispy and not greasy considering what we ordered on it, and the sauce was really good. My family and I were on our way back from the Columbus Zoo when we desided just to spend the night at a hotel. Just down the street was this little pizza place and we desided to stop in for a take out pizza. I must say it was pretty darn good. Plenty of toppings, the crust was crispy but not burnt and the price was very reasonable. The staff was pleasant and made our pizza within 15 minutes. read more

For the Chicago thin-crust style pizza-- this is amazing work. The sauce is delicious and they use the perfect amount of it, which is crucial. The crust itself is the best part, just crispy and flavorful and awesome. Their hot wings are full of flavor and have just he right amount of heat, they're even better if you ask for them extra crispy. If you live in the Quarry Apartments, you should never EVER be ordering Papa John's or Domino's. Delivery is usually pretty quick-- they always estimate that it will be 45 mins, but it's more like 30. Support this local place that makes way better food! read more

This is a great little family owned pizza place that also has the quickest delivery in town! The pizzas are Ohio style with thin crust and plenty of toppings. Believe it or not, what sets this place apart are the ribs! They have great flavor and literally fall off of the bone! They also have great subs with soft, fresh bread and awesome salads with homemade dressing. Every time we order from there we end up spending a ton of money because we can't decide what to get, so we order a little of everything! read more

Good gooey cheese and soft doughy crust! Ample toppings too! I quite their pizza, I was just sadly shocked by the little squares they cut it into. Casa Di Pizza is great. Their pepperoni pizza is some of the best i've ever had. Their pepperonis are those delicious small crispy curled upwards pepperonis. Their wings are very good too. I'm not positive but they taste like they are grilled which give them a unique sweetish flavor. Though i'd prefer their handmade(I think) ranch to be a little thicker. I've also had their pepperoni stromboli which tastes exactly like their pizza(How surprising!) read more

To add insult to injury, the workers prepared everything without gloves and were digging into my pizza to take off (and place back on in a different order?) the ingredients. Gross! read more
