Great food. Great service Has both the pineapple and the cheesy bread which is annoyingly hard to find in houston for some reason. They were behind on getting mashed potato's and weren't coming to us at first but once we made it clear we were ready they swarmed us. This is now my FAVORITE churascaria. A team effort as at least 8 different staff (not counting the gentlemen offering the meats) offered to help. Hard to find that level of service. The pineapple mojito was a great start to the experience. Fresh ingredients, well balanced. Not too sweet as many fruit drinks can be. The dinner begins with the (much more than) salad bar. Again fresh offerings of cheeses and meats, a small wedge salad, smoked salmon. Of particular note, the ceviche amazed with a creamy hint of heat sauce. The shrimp stroganoff was a delightful dish I have not encountered before. And now for the moment we've all been waiting for... the meat! The traditional rodizio style I why I came. Stumbled upon this place during some of the COVID restrictions, and experienced GREAT service from the staff. Figured it may have been due to less clientele because of COVID restrictions and the fact that they had just opened their doors. Fast forward to last week; full house and service was EXCELLENT!! If I could give 0 stars I would. I am currently sitting in the restaurant right now and I couldn't be more upset. We booked a reservation for a special event. Came and was told we had to wait 35 mins. At the beginning of the dinner i disclosed to the waitress that we wanted a surprise dessert to come out and when it was time for the dessert she acted like she had no idea what we were talking about and totally spoiled the surprise. During our meal it was so hectic and we didn't even get the full menu of meats. The table leg kept folding in and the table kept wobbling almost to the point our food was sliding off the table. Never going here again. The manager was super nice and gave us a free glass of champagne, I'm not sure if they're under staffed but something needs to be fixed because that was a all around terrible experience. My wife, a friend, and I went here for lunch on the last day of Houston Restaurant Weeks, and we were very pleased. Lots of yummy things on the salad bar (mmm, fresh mozzarella balls) and great sides, especially the popover-like cheese breads. Awesome happy hour at the bar! Great drink and appetizer specials. We were treated so nicely by the hostess upon arrival and then very attentively by servers at the bar! Fresh miniature popovers delivered immediately with ice water. Decent churrascaria with typical meat offerings and quality on par with Fogo de chao, Texas de Brazille, or Chama Gaucha. However, I would rate the service, salad bar, and desserts at the other mentioned places slightly higher than here. Maybe our experience was unique due to the band playing the Saturday we went but we thought the acoustics of the room was horrible. It was so loud that we can barely hear across the table and had to either yell or constantly repeat conversations...and we weren't even seated that close to the band. Our server also had his nose completely not covered by his face mask the entire time with no effort to readjust in the entire time we were there. Lastly, some items just took too slow. We had asked for chimichurri sauce and by the time it came out ~10 minutes later, some of the slices of meat on our plate had already started getting cold. Also had to wait and stare at our papaya cream dessert slowly melting since they didn't bring out spoons until minutes later. Overall Casa Do Brasil has good food but there are better churrascaria options in Houston at the same price point read more
