Is this business kid friendly?

I would say no. It's all adults, drinking and playing pool. Just having a good time. Could you get away with sneaking a kid in, maybe, but I wouldn't bring my kids here. Just my friends 👭

Do they show the international rugby games live?

They have direct TV. If you know what channel it's playing on, they should be able to show it. Especially if it's a big game.

Is this a good spot where Eagles fans meet for games?

I can't say if this is an "official - unofficial" meeting spot for Eagles fans, but there is definitely enough space and privacy in parts of the bar where anyone can meet up for any sporting event.

Do they stream the online/app ESPN + through the TVs? It is not on Live Tv only online at espn.com or through their app for ESPN+, pub would have to have roku or something similar to stream it through their TVs for West Brom vs Villa

When I arrived, there were only about 15-20 people ahead of me in line. As the afternoon progressed, the line stretched down the street, yet no staff member came outside to communicate capacity limits, seating availability, or where the line should reasonably end. Even more concerning, patrons were not admitted until after the match had already started. The situation quickly became chaotic. People who had waited for hours were understandably frustrated, and many were openly voicing their concerns. Groups were admitted one at a time, creating further delays. When it was finally my turn to enter, I was informed that all tables had been taken and that only standing room remained. I was allowed to look inside before deciding whether to stay. What I observed was particularly disappointing: many individuals who had not been ahead of me in line were already seated at tables. I have no idea how they got in but I suspect they were allowed in through some other entrance. After waiting more than two hours based on the information provided by the establishment, this felt unfair and misleading. Most disappointing was having invited friends to join me for the match, only to have the experience ruined by what appeared to be poor planning and inadequate crowd management. The demand for a major World Cup match should not have come as a surprise. If the venue anticipated significant attendance, additional seating, staffing, and clear communication should have been put in place. This was one of the most poorly managed event experiences I have encountered. At a minimum, I believe the ownership should publicly acknowledge what occurred and apologize to the many customers who invested hours of their time only to be left without the accommodations they were promised. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

I remember they were selling $10 Don Julio 1942 shots one time because it was Cinco de Mayo week. Great times and memories made at this restaurant. That bar was so busy given the season and that was of expectation, but I watched the bartenders specifically handle it like a cake walk and even better, my drinks were FANTASTIC. From the Espresso Martini that got my not-so-young self through the night, to the Carajillo--those were elite cocktails and I had low hopes honestly. But, if they could impress me enough on an NBA Finals night to make a review, I can't imagine what a regular service day is like. GO TO 33 TAPS!!

The place has been around for a long time, now, as have I, and I appreciate having it in the neighborhood. Food is solid, I just had some of the chicken wings and kalbi poutine as I watched Korea's inglorious defeat and Mexico's rousing victory, and there's plenty of beer and soju on the menu. I think I had my first Delirium Tremens here many years ago, and I spent the other night drinking soju and the house Biergarten lager, a nice, refreshing beer you can order by the pitcher. I made a reservation, was asked to confirmed reservation 3x, noted it was celebrating a birthday and gave no preference on seating. I arrived on time, but one of my group was parking. There were a few people milling around and I was greeted with "checking in?" No hello, no welcome, no mention of celebrating and told to let them know when entire party arrived. (This is becoming more common to be seated along with a $25 per person fee if I canceled less than 24hrs. I know restaurants are struggling but come on!) I watched as 'walk-ins' were given priority tables and when our party was complete, she was squeezing in a 3rd chair to a small cafe table right by the pass through door. No asking our preference. When she returned to seat us, I said "you're not putting us at that small table are you?" Her response - "yes...unless you want to sit inside." How was that not a conversation first? A professional would have said "I apologize, where would you prefer to sit? I see you made a reservation, are celebrating an event and we had some unexpected guests for seating options." Perhaps she was having a bad day, or was still reeling from a prior customer interaction but she was NOT up to the standards I equate with Manuela. We ordered SO much food, mainly to try more things, and also because my eyes are perpetually bigger than my stomach. That's fine though! Even the leftovers were delicious as heck. - Cornbread--absolutely smothered in butter and honey, crispy on the outside and very moist on the inside with great jalapeño flavor. Saw some lady on social media say this was gross and dry... surely that was rage bait? - Bread--got both the jam and butter which were both amazing as it came with two types of warm bread that was perfectly crusty and soft. However, given the amount of butter overall in this meal, it wouldn't be a loss to skip. - Peaches--came with farmer's cheese, which is like a creamy, drier version of cottage cheese, that paired really well with the sweet juicy peaches, basil, and fresh lemon dressing. Summer on a plate. - Carolina gold rice--never had this dish before, it's like shrimp n grits met porridge, rich snd hearty with plenty of shrimp flavor from the shrimp butter. - Mushroom-crusted pork chop--easily usurped my previous favorite pork chop from Chez Maggy in Denver, and is now my favorite pork chop :) - Ribeye with bone marrow--also one of the best steaks from a restaurant we've had. My husband's gotten to the point where he doesn't like ordering steaks (usually I'm the offender) because they're usually not very good even from "steakhouses", but this ribeye was great. Perfect crust, perfect med-rare cook, lots of flavor, tender and delicious. Bonus was the bone marrow I saved half of for my spoiled dog. - Sticky date pudding--I think I confused this with a sticky toffee pudding although it's very similar and equally tasty as heck. Don't skip this! Typically I have to be borderline blackmailed into eating all my leftovers but there was no arm-twisting for Dunsmoor's. Street parking unless you valet. There's a line by opening for walk-ins, and apparently a separate line for reservations on the other side of the door.

MYSELF AND ABOUT 20 OTHER PEOPLE HAVE NOT BEEN PAID FOR OUR WORK AT CASEYS IRISH PUB. IT IS RUN BY A RUSSIAN MAN NAMED IVAN, WHO ALSO OWNS FOUR GAS STATIONS. HE HAS THE MONEY HE JUST DOESN'T WANT TO PAY. THIS IS OUR NEW NORMAL PEOPLE. I worked at Caseys Irish pub for six weeks from the end of January 2026 until March 12, 2026. I had high hopes for the place because it's huge and has so much potential for greatness. I thought with a good team we were going to turn that place into a gold mine. The owner paid me cash for the first three shifts and then they said they pay monthly and that's how they get you to stay and work for free. They hire people at the end of the month pay them for a few days and then say they pay monthly. So by the first I was expecting a really big paycheck. I logged all my tips and my hourly. I was expecting to get around $2200. I was part-time, but I did work a lot. The owner did not pay on the first he paid on the 12th. They kept pushing it back. They told us we're going to have a meeting. In the meeting, everyone can air out their grievances. The owner can air out his and the staff can air out theirs. Well, the owner only had one thing in mind... St. Patrick's Day, and the whole week of festivities that led up to St. Patrick's Day. He told us that for St. Patrick's Day they were going to keep all of our tips just to get a gauge on what we're making in cash. We didn't make that much in cash there. Everybody uses credit cards these days. We never got a chance to air out our grievances either but here is the list....... The plumbing was really bad. There was a big water leak in the sink in the men's bathroom and I had to dump out buckets of water every two hours so that it wouldn't get all over the floor. I had to order our supplies, myself from Smart and final because nobody managed the place. Many times we didn't have paper towels, toilet paper or hand wash for the restrooms. We did not have a cleaning person in the morning, so we basically had to be the cleaning person. We did have a chef for a while and he was creating a menu for the place so that we could have a real restaurant, but the owner never paid him either so he quit. I will say the one thing we had was some freedom. We didn't have anybody looking over our shoulders because honestly, I don't think that these people cared about running this business. I think there's something very fishy going on in LA where they're allowing this type of thing to go on and screwing over people in the process. This messed up a lot of lives. so the owner had a meeting with us to tell us that he was going to keep our cash tips during the busiest week of the year. Then he handed me an envelope with my pay. It was $1000. I was owed 2200 for that month and I was also owed for 5 days in March. Without taxes it's about $3300. If you subtract 20%, it's about $2640. I got paid $1000 for six weeks worth of work. I kept track of everything. read more

This is a good bar with ok food. i would recommend their bar fries, they are good. I also had a Reuben and it was bleh. It was not good but it was not bad. It was somewhere in between. The one main issue I had with the Pub is that the service was way to slow. When we got in my friend and I both ordered a cocktail. Hors d'oeuvres were served and then the main course came out, and still no cocktail. We asked about it three times and they told us the bar was behind. My friends finally went to the bar and the bar tender told him that he forgot and would bring them out ASAP. The cocktails finally came out, but our meal was done by then, and so were we with the service. When i go into a restaurant or bar the priority for me is the service, Casey's fell short in that area. I may try it again, but no time soon. I give this bar two shot glasses. read more

I recently visited an Irish pub in LA and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with traditional Irish decor and a lively crowd. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure our drinks were always full and our food was delicious. Speaking of food, the pub had an extensive menu of Irish classics like shepherd's pie, fish and chips, and bangers and mash. Everything we tried was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The pub also had a great selection of beers on tap, including some authentic Irish brews. Casey's Irish Pub is not really gnarly enough to look around (lay a bad trip on a few reasons though). What you eat here wasn't really fresh from its kitchen guess. A friend of mine ordered some meat which definitely had something wrong with it - ah, could see him running home (Carl, are you okay buddy?). Lol, hope nothing big played up with his tummy. Anyway, some things are still passable here, especially their wild assortment of tacos and beers (ordered by me, wink) which tasted good actually. But like just said, this place's not really worth frittering away especially when you're more into yummy and safe stuff. For any pub crawl downtown this is an easy stop-in mid route, especially if you're in dire risk of sobering up in the 4 blocks between the Library bar and the Association (...though I could help you with a few other suggestions on the way!) My buddy and I dropped in for a quick bite and a pint as we made our way around the local haunts. Both of us being half-English, half-Irish Guinness was clearly on the cards and used as an essential aid to washing down the sliders and fries. We sat at the bar and our waitress was great. In fact she suggested we skip the order of fries as our sliders would come with more than enough. Friendly and welcoming think of Casey's as the LA equivalent of cheers in terms of atmosphere. read more

Happy Hour Alert!! I went here with some friends after work for some drinks and appetizers. We had an absolute blast!. Most of don't get out much, as we're married with children, and this is exactly what we needed. While the atmosphere wasn't what I was used to; it took me back to my college days for some reason. The decor is awesome, the service was a 10, and the happy hour specials are amazing. It was pretty busy and the server took time to talk to us and make us feel like we're young cool single guys. The food is your usual run of the mill bar food, but it was really good. I highly recommend this place. We've decided to go here once a month. read more

This place is crazy hit or miss! On one hand I love the no thrills divey aspect of this place. There's always a funny smell as you walk down the stairs, and that's how you mentally prepare yourself for the possible madness you're about to endure. Staff is friendly when it suits them, and they don't seem to be in any need of new regulars. Been when it's empty and jam-packed, and must say I got better service when it was busy. Best dive bar in DTLA. Highly recommend! Came here for game day. They've got great specials $7 - $10 drinks and $10-$12 food specials! Lots of options on the specials menu and a full bar. A ton of TV's, plenty of space. They also have a huge outdoor patio that allows smoking so it's not Smokey and tons of games to play for free, darts, ping pong, board games, jenga!! And then pool tables for a few bucks. Eddie helped us, he's amazing. Gave us great recommendations on drinks and things to do in the area. Great prices, great vibes and quick service!! read more

Went to Casey's for the first time this past Saturday and out of all the bars I went to that night, this was my personal favorite. The stairs leading down to the establishment (outdoor smoking patio) lends it a subterranean feel, which I like. Drinks were affordable, not as pricy as the other establishments in the area. Love the layout; despite the fact that Casey's had just as many people as the other two bars my friends and I visited in the same night, there was far more room. Excellent service! Fun atmosphere! The bartender (we didn't catch his name) was attentive and hilarious. We ordered the Guinness Stew (awesome), the Shepherds Pie (decent- tasted fresh and yummy, but obviously made in advance & reheated), and the house-pretzel. My biggest disappointment is that the pretzel obviously didn't go through the pretzeling process, but is more appropriately a "pretzel-shaped yeast roll". Otherwise, this is an excellent stop and I would eat here again without hesitating. read more

This was one of the best places in downtown la. i would come here every other day and see the staff that has been there for years. the server brian was amazing and, i would say, was the face of caseys even though he's not irish. but, i hear he's no longer there and im not either. the chicks are ok at the bar but all service is slow and the management is rude. find out for yourself. ps: how does a irish bar get rid of bass....i think im going to dublins for a real blk n tan read more

Absolutely terrible service at Casey's. We've given this place multiple chances, but it keeps disappointing. Bartenders are so rude and unprofessional!! Also, the stage is tucked away at the back of the pub, and it honestly looks like a basement. We could hear someone playing, but we didn't dare go in because it was covered by curtains, making it feel uninviting and almost off-limits. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else. Great ambiance. Nice looking bar, but a couple of things really rubbed me wrong. First is that they charge $5 for pool and ping pong. I don't mind paying per game, but making me pay to rent the table is just bad business. Wouldn't you want me to play pool to buy more beer? Second, I don't mind paying LA prices when going to an LA type bar, but this is a Irish pub in a more quite part of town and they're charging $12 for a pint of Mexican Lager. Crazy! read more

Do not go here. They take advantage of their staff. Pay them under the table but still take their tips and "taxes" even though that isn't at all how "under the table" works. Employees have gone weeks without pay to the point where they own the bartenders over $1,500. If you care about equal pay, equal rights and fair wages DO NOT SUPPORT THEM! This place is very nice. Generally pub should be either packed with nasty biker guys or with youth, students and casual young people. Young ones in here, lucky me. Drinks are various and food looks great. Peaked at some plates around me. Next I'm going for food no doubt. Casey's came as a recommendation from a hotel staff member. this is the best pub in la! the music is fun. our lovely server was very nice. the drinks are great! i like the river shannon, a mix of irish vodka and pineapple juice. the food is amazing. try the bread pudding. i don't even like bread pudding, and i found myself scrapping the bowl. the fried calamari is also fantastic. lots of flavor! read more

The basket of fries was a nice crispy side dish. Sunday is an all happy hour special , so I'm enjoying it very much. It's got a lot of age and plenty of seating all over. I'll definitely come back. I can only imagine how nuts it is here on 3/17. One other thing you might notice, their TVs are dated. So much so that you can see stats from a game televised from three years ago on the screens. I walked in with three friends during happy hour on a Tuesday. Three of us ordered a single drink and one of us ordered two. It took the bartender 20 minutes to pour four beers and a shot. The place was practically empty and the few patrons before us at the bar had apparently already been served. The bartender was nice and seemed cool but inexplicably and unbearably slow. We quickly finished our drinks and went to another bar down the street to finish our rounds and eat. This place could be great if an owner or manager cared to motivate staff to meet minimal expectations.

I'm getting the impression that while they still mix old fashioneds, a scotch such as Ardbeg is now an unusual and baffling request. I've been here a handful of times in the past few months, and it can be lively or dead, but it's now just any other bar. If you want a fun cocktail you can find anywhere else, this place will do, but unfortunately it's lost what has separated this bar from any of the other bars in dtla.
