I had the Lomo Soltado Mixed with beef and shrimp. The meal overall was pretty carb heavy as it came with rice and fries. This meal with a Diet Coke and tip came out to be like $30. Some would say it's not worth it but the flavor combination and not having to cook a delicious meal yourself makes it, hahaha. The food came out pretty quick and luckily we made it in time before the rush. My friend and I arrived around 1pm and the private lot for parking was already full but there's plenty of street parking if you walk a little bit. I love Lomo Saltado and I've eaten it for 15 yrs, starting at Don Felix Peruvian Restaurant. I have ordered the same dish from Caveman Kitchen for the past 6 years (It was delicious). What I expect was stir fried meat with some browning, seasoned and tender, with some crispy fries, onions and tomatoes cooked just right with a light flavor sauce. However, the 2 Lomo Saltado I ordered recently and delivered were the worst! The Lomo Saltado container had a small amount of what looked liked boiled meat. The meat was tough, no taste and mixed with lots of red onions and tomatoes, soggy fries and some of the fries were smashed and mixed with rice. The quality of the food is bad (perhaps they have a new cook) and I will no longer order this dish. I hope they improve the quality soon. read more

It seems that anytime I place my order online right past 8pm my order is cancelled ,and I am told that they are out of chicken every time. It's happened about 3/4 times now. Today when I expressed frustration I was told that they do not want to make anymore chicken since they close at 9pm.. I would understand this if it were closer to 9pm. The menu was vast and everything looked good but I ended up going with what appeared to be the most popular item, the lomo saltado. I also ordered a side of plantains, which I always love. We also shared the chicken sandwich which came highly recommended as well. My plate was very filling and I recall the salsa being really yummy! So bomb, spicy but bomb. The staff is always friendly and service is fast. They have an indoor tables and small 2 seater tables outside. The only bad thing is the parking. I had never been to this restaurant. One of my coworkers was ordering food for pick up. I looked at the menu online and ordered the garlic chicken. Many restaurants and different cultures all do a chicken, rice and beans dishes (arroz con pollo), but this one was different and excellent. It was different from the popular Cuban restaurants, It was also different from the many Mexican or even Jamaican restaurants (chicken, rice, and bean dishes). The 1/4 serving of chicken was well seasoned and juicy (not dry at all). The rice and beans were also delicious. The beans were nice and tender. The dish came with some delicious plantains that were also tender. The portion was large and I was not able to eat the whole meal. I gave half to one of my coworkers who also loved it. Wood-fired rotisserie, you just can't go wrong. It's juicy yet perfectly charred and crusted on the outside. My recommendation: order the Pollo al Mojo. Half a chicken bathing in the most delicious garlic sauce, topped with onions. Also, the fries are some of my favorite!! The only downside is that parking sucks. There's a mariscos and yoshinoya in the same plaza and 4 spots available per restaurant. I usually drive down the residential street and find a spot and just walk over.
