Ordered our baby shower cake from here (after going to a friend's place and they had ordered their cake from C'est Si Bon). The turtle - beach theme and the fondant work on the cake was outta this world. It was very cute/adorable. We chose a classic vanilla cake with Hawaiian berry filling..( I liked the taste of Hawaiian berry better at the bakery...probably because it was chilled vs being at room temperature) but overall the cake was awesome. Jessica (I think that was her name) took our order at the bakery for the cake and she was a pleasure to work with. At some point we just said, what do you think will look good and she made a few suggestions based on the large size of the cake and we just went with what she suggested and everything was spot on. Would definitely recommend this place. read more

I finally got my brothers bday cake and we all loved it.. The cake was baked to perfection and the topping was not too sweet, but the right amount.. We actually messed up in picking up our order and when my husband reached there the place was already closed.. I tried dialing them for more than 7 times and luckily someone picked up. What can I say about this place? They are amazing. I emailed them regarding making a cake for me with a 3D topper. They communicate with you really quick and very informative. They listed out options for me and honestly all I had to do was tell them what I wanted my cake to look like. They didn't disappoint one bit. The cake turned out amazingly cute and best of all it was delicious! I will most definitely be having them make my cakes again in the future. read more

This place has great deserts and cakes. One of the most famous bakery's in San Jose is called Peters Bakery and they make the best burnt almond cake. However this place is awesome and their burnt almond is right up there. I also had their crème puff pastries and other deserts and cookies. I will always come back to this place as it is close by my house and the people inside working and the owner are great, excellent personalities. read more

I ordered a few sweets. From the Oreo cup to the burnt almond cupcake. The only complaint would be that's a tad bit expensive. Overall, very tasty treats. I'm definitely visiting again! Btw, while waiting, many people picked up some lovely decorated cakes- I mean extremely very well decorated cakes!!! read more

I'm not a big cake person but the hubby is and wanted to get a custom cake made for his birthday. The ordering process was easy and they got back to me fairly quickly. This is my favorite place for cupcakes and cookies. The flavors are amazing and the super delicious. I love the strawberry shortcake cupcake and velvet cupcake. I came here to order a cake for my 6 month old baby boy and viola it was done to perfection. The staff were so helpful when I went into the store to discuss my order and my requests by email to keep increasing the order were promptly responded to. I just had lunch at Mandarin House when a craving for some dessert hit me! So I used the Yelp app to see if there was anything close by to help satiate my craving. C'est Si Bon Bakery (CSBB) was the closest and was located in the same shopping complex! CSBB is a small bakery with about 2 displays filled with cakes, cup cakes, and cookies! This was exactly what I wanted!!! I ordered two different Wedding Cookies, one was plain and the other was sprinkled with powdered sugar! Another thing that caught my eye was the Napoleon! I first tried the Napoleon as soon as I got in the car. Mmmm, that was delicious!!! The pastry was light and flakey, and the filling, which I believe was custard, was perfectly sweetened! It wasn't overly sweet, but was just barely sweet which to me was perfect!!! I really loved this Napoleon!!! The two Wedding Cookies were also very good! Although, gravitated more towards the plain cookies rather than the ones with powdered sugar! Overall it was a great first visit to CSBB! I'm glad I live on the other side of town, otherwise I might be a frequent visitor! I'll give CSBB a 4 star rating!!! read more

C'est Si Bon has never gotten it right. They delivered my wedding cake to the venue just before our wedding and it was incorrect. I had a terrible customer service experience trying to order a cake later, but I let both of these go. Not anymore. Saturday I went to pick up a cake I ordered for my husband's birthday and they did not have my cake. Then, the employees working spent at least 15 minutes trying to prove that it was my fault. They really genuinely made me feel like crap. I showed them my confirmation e-mail. I then showed them the call log on my phone with the date and time where I called to confirm the order and pay. They continued to shrug their shoulders and tell me they never got the order so I must not have confirmed. Then they told me there was nothing they could do. Neither employee there could write on a cake so I was welcome to purchase one from the case (none of which were large enough or even close to the very specific flavors my husband had requested-and they couldn't decorate it anyway). Then they simply suggested I go to Whole Foods for a cake. Worst customer service experience I've had anywhere in a long time. They. Lost. My. Order. Somewhere floating around in their nasty little bakery is a piece of paper where they wrote down my entire credit card number. They tried to blame me for their mistake. I recounted the entire conversation for them where someone from their bakery confirmed my order and took down my card. I did everything right. They even confirmed the number in the call log was theirs. Then they spent additional time showing me all the places where my order was not and didn't even *try* to fix it. They did not even offer. Then they said someone would call me later. Nobody has called. Perhaps all the little screwups and bad attitudes in the past are indicating something more systemic. This really reads like a complacent local business has decided to skate on their reputation and stop caring about the customers because they don't feel they have to anymore. Either way, if you want your order correct (or at all) and want pleasant people to deal with, go somewhere else. The Whole Foods cake was fine albeit not what we wanted and all in attendance were appalled to hear that it was C'est Si Bon who screwed it up so bad (and delayed the party to boot since I had to make an unplanned pilgrimage for a replacement cake). I think we will all take our business elsewhere. read more

Ladies here are very kind & pay close attention to detail. The lines here can get pretty long especially during holidays. I ordered my little cousins quinceanera cake and showed them a picture of what I wanted 2months in advance. They definitely came through and it came with a personal extra cake for the bday girl which I thought was lovely. Prices are definitely up there but pretty modest in comparison to other high end bakeries. I only wish I had my wedding cake made here because they can literally do anything! read more

After Aki's and their famous guava cake disappeared I've been looking for a good decorative cake bakery. This bakery is the best local bakery in South San Jose, WillowGlen and Cambrian Area. Not only are the cakes decorated so amazingly they are moist and fresh! So many places freeze their cakes before decorating and you can tell. I ordered two cakes and cup cakes for the same weekend. All were sugar perfection. First cake for 14 year Adoption celebration was red velvet and cream cheese filling. Second cake Hawaiian decorates birthday cake with confetti white cake was equally as moist. Lastly rainbow celebration cupcakes with confetti cake. I ADORE this bakery. I came in to pick up a cake this weekend and realized I had forgotten to actually confirm the cake before hand (mom-brain!), and the staff couldn't have been nicer! So my sis turned 25 and asked for this meme on her cake and C'est Si Bon delivered!!! She was so happy!! They even put the spongebob flowers around the cake!!! Sepi, the owner of C'est Si Bon had a passion for baking since her very early years. She perfected the art of Persian baking when she was in her twenties and then expanded it to international pastries and cookies and started a small manufacturing operation in Sydney, Australia. I decided to get one Lemon-Raspberry Meringue Tart and one Mix Berry Vanilla Creme Tart. Mr. Manaois boxed up my selections and helped me at the register. They also gave many varieties of hot beverages, sweet and savory scones and sweet and savory croissants. There are also a lot of different pastries. This would be a great place to have a small relaxing breakfast. There are several places inside to enjoy your goodies. Both desserts, that I purchased, were so delicious. My favorite was the lemon raspberry meringue tart. The tartness of the lemon-raspberry filling worked so perfectly with the delicious sweet meringue. I will definitely come here again to try other items.
