    Taylor Ham n Cheese

The bagel was just ok, but they charged me a lot of $ for a Taylor Ham n Cheese that was almost nothing in it. One small egg and small pieces of Taylor Ham. This place was better at one time. I wonder if they changed owners.

My first time here. Got a poppy seed bagel with strawberry cream cheese. It's hard to find a good poppy seed bagel or find them at all unless at a bagel shop and it's not guaranteed even then. They did have them and it was good. Not the best I've had but their strawberry cream cheese was out of this world. Great balance and flavorful. Service was quick n efficient. Place was clean. Parking pretty easy with lots of options. I'd go back and try an egg sandwich.

Well this was a bummer. I know everyone has an off day but I thought I'd splurge and have this delivered. I've eaten here for years and it's usually delicious. But with the $8 delivery fee and a $5 tip and I live behind the restaurant about two blocks away I thought what the heck I'll splurge. It's kind of sad that I could not enjoy the meal.

There's not a ton of bagel spots in Mount Pleasant, and this is certainly the best of the few! My husband and I love CBC. His go-to is "The Angler," aka an everything bagel with lox. I love the BEC and the SEC, to which I always add cream cheese. They have great cold brew, easy parking, and though they can get super busy, the staff all hustle and my food never takes unreasonably long. I have felt so satisfied the last 3 times I ate here.i think I've finally got my order down!

A good light breakfast place if you're not too hungry or want something easy to grab on the go. I wish the portion size was a little bigger though. I was expecting a fully stuffed bagel, NY style, but toppings were a bit thin. However it's still delicious and great for the price. They also have other options besides bagels, including wraps, omelette, breakfast platters, coffee, etc.

I was hoping a local bagel shop would bring it with friendly atmosphere, good bagels and a quality sandwich. The bagel I had, Asiago jalapeño, was good. Not great but no complaint with the bagel. The staff was not friendly and lacked personality. The sandwich I had, the Irish Rueben, was lackluster. I asked for it to be toasted. It came warm.. including the tomato and lettuce (no slaw which is an ingredient according to the menu). The amount of meet was enough for a half bagel. It had three thin slices of meat! The flavor of the meat was ok. Maybe the breakfast is better, but I do not recommend this place. I wish I could because I love supporting local businesses!

We were looking for somewhere to grab a late lunch before a beach day. It was a Sunday. I think we got caught up in the post church crowd. Inside is on the small side. With the amount of people, it felt packed and overcrowded. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel. My boyfriend ordered a combo with bacon, scrambled eggs, and hash browns. There's no table service. They call your name when your order is ready, which can be hard to hear when it's busy. The food was decent, not great. The prices are decent. Nothing special about this place. I'm on the fence about returning.

If you change one of their menu items slightly like no egg. Or hash browns with onions and cheese....Your order will be wrong.

The menu has everything from sandwiches and salads to pastries, and they offer dine in, takeout, and delivery. Numerous gluten free options as well! The bread is even shipped in from Port Chester, New York! The South Side sandwich is incredible and as close to Arthur Avenue style as you will find. The crispy chicken cutlet with prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, fire roasted peppers, and balsamic is perfection. The chicken parm sandwich is equally as impressive! As a first time visitor, they even give you a free cookie, which is such a thoughtful touch. The owner, Christian, made the experience unforgettable. As a fellow Fairfield County native, he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He was kind, generous, and had us sample the gluten free protein bombs and house made chips, which were amazing, along with their Arnold Palmers. The hospitality here is unparalleled. It is the perfect mix of northern charm and southern warmth. Easily the best service I have experienced from any owner in the Charleston area. All of the staff were wonderful and seemed to enjoy working there. It's also beautiful, bright and clean. The Boss is a must for anyone from Jersey. Taylor pork roll, two local eggs, and American cheese on a poppyseed kaiser roll done right! We cannot wait to come back. Wishing Christian and the entire team continued success!

OMG! How did I just discover this place?…read more We stopped by Mozzo Deli in Mount Pleasant for lunch on a Friday, expecting it to be busy, and it definitely was. It's located in a shopping center at the end of a strip of restaurants, so it looks pretty unassuming from the outside. There were about four people ahead of us in line, and it took around 10 minutes to place our order. After paying at the cashier, we found a table, and our food arrived about 10 minutes later, which felt reasonable for the lunch rush. The employee who brought our food confirmed our order and later checked back to see how everything was. The food was the highlight of the visit. The coleslaw was delicious, the tortellini salad was good, and my husband really enjoyed his Cuban sandwich. My burger (the rock), though, was one of the best I've ever had. It was incredibly juicy and flavorful, especially considering it was cooked on a griddle instead of a grill. Meals come with the main item, and you can order sides separately if you want them. The menu is extensive, with burgers, sandwiches, salads, build-your-own options, and even breakfast items. The only downside is that if you come during the lunch rush, you may have to wait for a table. Even so, the food made it well worth the visit, and I'd definitely go back for that burger.

We placed a to-go order for a 4:30pm pickup on a Friday, and the place was absolutely packed--standing room only. That alone told us we picked the right spot. We ordered the Fun Guy mushroom burger and the Red Ranger chicken sandwich--both were packed with flavor and seriously delicious. We also grabbed fries, sweet potato fries, and a chicken finger meal, and everything hit the mark. The online ordering system made it super easy to customize each item, which was perfect for our group. What really stood out was the attention to detail--they clearly labeled each of our six burgers and sandwiches. That made tailgating before the show so much easier (and way less chaotic!). And I really liked the Formula 45 sauce. I ordered a chicken salad as well (no tomatoes or fiesta power blend). The chicken tasted a little funny so I didn't finish the salad. The service counter setup was confusing, as there are 2 registers but each facing a different direction. The staff immediately said hi, but never said which register to take my order as he was on the phone. Another staff member then arrived and took my order at the other register. I ordered the apollo dipper, and said I'd eat in. The seating options are a little sparse for one. There were a few tables for 4 or more, but not enough 2 tops. There is a long counter to sit, but I did not find it appealing and sat at the two top. The chairs look dirty, as the back supports had a dirty appearance from all the hands. My chair was also wobbly. Then I noticed the napkin dispenser on the table was dirty with dust. All this validated my initial opinion when entering. My order arrived, but in a to go bag. No problem, I stayed and ate it. Overall the sandwich was ok, with a soft warm bun. The melted cheese covered the turkey and ham below. I can't say the sandwich was very flavorful, so the Formula 45 sauce added flavor. Before leaving, I used the restroom and was not surprised by how dirty it was. Lots of dust on the top of toilet tank and the handicap bars. Then residual dried water spots under the paper dispenser and wall where the trash can was sitting. No effort here. I really don't like giving a review like this, but it was disappointing. I have visited Groucho's in the Columbia area and they were much better. While food taste and value usually come first, the appearance (cleanliness) also contributes to the experience. I've read other reviews that share similar experiences, so this is not a solitary moment. Hopefully feedback helps, maybe owners/managers will see the need to react to concerns. Unfortunately, I will not likely return.
