The setting here is so beautiful!! I highly recommend going during the daytime or getting there right before sunset. We booked for our very small wedding and was a little disappointed that our party was inside, so be sure to request outdoor seating. When asked if we could move outside, we were told there was no room for our size party. My husband's food was quite good! My fish was very dry. I couldn't finish it. My Husband and I dined here for his Birthday. Rebecca at the front desk made sure it was to be very special for us. After we ate a delicious meal of Organic Salad, Buffalo, Venison and Brussels Sprouts, our waiter Raymond delivered my Husband's Birthday dessert of Apple Cobbler with Gelato and blueberry compote. We had 2 glasses of Port to compliment the dish and it knocked our socks off! Raymond was extremely professional and attentive without hovering, we were able to enjoy our romantic meal and linger over the amazing dessert. We had dinner there last night. The view is a killer. I had the onion soap special appetizer and could not finish. Way to salty. I do not use salt so my taste buds are a little sensitive . The rest of the meal was expensive and good but not great. When you ask top dollar for dinner I hold you to high standards. I will go back and probably stay with the specials for the night. Maybe our expectations were too high as we expected the food to match the high quality of the resort and unbelievable view. Unfortunately, our party found everything to be mediocre from the drinks apps and entrees. We had a wide variety of dishes and nothing really stood out. The filet is served with potato sticks, even though it said fries. Service was also mediocre, our drink order was incorrect and it was difficult to get our server's attention throughout our entire meal. I think the main draw here is the view. The food is pretty good, but nothing amazing. The buffalo carpaccio is a pretty good appetizer. I've had better beef carpaccio, but this was still a good one. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. If you want to take advantage of the view, make sure you go during daylight hours. You can't really see much when its dark out, and to make it worse, the interior lights reflect off the windows, making it harder to see outside. read more

Absolutely horrible service. Seated inside with many open tables. We could tell they were waiting for a large party as a server asked to remove chairs from our table. That was the only server to approach until a bus person came by and asked if we had been greeted. We said no, and she returned with water. When we asked how she was this evening, she replied,"well I'm working". Not what I expect out of this type of resort or restaurant. Did not have the chance to eat as we left after we were not even approached by a server for 10 minutes as 6-8 servers walked by continually. Had the Manager watch us walk out and thank us for dining. She didn't even notice our table had nothing on it besides water. Great oversight. Consequently, sat in the patio and watched the large party come in and get a wonderful greeting with laughs. Given my husband and I both worked in Foodservice for several years, we understand what it takes to be successful. It is 70% experience and 30% food. This place has disappointed greatly. read more

The restaurant was beautiful and elegant. The food was good. Very good. The lobster bisque was so delish, yet the serving size was pathetically small, even for a high end restaurant. The baby beet appetizer was good, but some of the beets were very very vinegary. The tenderloin was so perfectly prepared...it was amazing. The chicken dish was lacking compared with the promise it held. The ingredients were blended well and mixed nicely. It was on the dry side though...should have been cooked less. The chocolate bread pudding had a good taste and a great mix with the ice cream and coul is, but was not a typical bread pudding consistency. The chocolate crunch cake was excellent...a large portion and enough crunch in the cake to be perfectly pleasing. Both very nicely presented. read more

My husband and I ate here on our second night in Sedona because we were staying at Enchantment Resort. The bread that was brought to the table was flakey and light and served with a chive butter. We started with the meat board which had four different meats, several cheeses, chutney, two mustards, grapes, toast, and fermented vegetables. This was one of the best meat board I have ever had. Our next course was soup. I had the lobster bisque (a must) and my husband ordered the cream of broccoli. Both soups were light and flavorful. For the entree my husband ordered the chicken which he enjoyed and I had the filet which was fine I was just too full to finish. Che-Ah-Chi is a fine choice if you are staying at Enchantment, however, I would not make the drive to this restaurant if I were staying somewhere else. read more

Beef Tartar with potato chips (sorry, doesn't compute), the seasonal soap (French Onion) so bitter I couldn't finish it and lastly, the special pasta not very special. To start the service is the main reason I'm giving 3 stars as our waiter was just incredible. The food on the other hand was average at best and for the prices we paid that is unacceptable. We had the Ahi, scallops, and ravioli entrees and none of us were impressed by any of it. The lobster bisque was good but that is about it. The service was abysmal. The food was literally airplane food. Salsa out of a jar, tasteless black bean purée in everything, fish that you could smell its fishiness from across the table....and to top it off a margarita with SUGAR around the rim. We should have been running for the red hills when the appetizer flat bread arrived that had inches of goat cheese on it and some sort of strawberry vinegar drizzled on it. It tasted like so etching McDonald's would have concocted. Scheduled reservation at this restaurant based on prior reviews. It was a major disappointment. The bad news. It took 30 minutes to receive a glass of wine on the deck prior to dinner. At dinner the lobster was only slightly warm with a dull taste. The pork chop was over cooked and barely warm served on vegetables that were wilted The wine list was substantial and so was the price. My guess is 3X or 4X retail. The view is great but not worth the price an poor food. The good news was the staff. Very polite and friendly. Delicious!! We came for breakfast and got the Sedona skillet, fruit plate, and the burrito. Everything was super fresh and tasty. Loved the food, the service, and the view! We came here for dinner right around sunset in late September, and the views of Boynton Canyon were amazing. The sun does set very quickly, so it was dark for most of dinner, but we didn't want to cut our hiking time short. There were blankets anyway! If you don't have hiking/other plans, you may want to make a reservation ~1 hour before sunset for better views the whole time. The food and drinks were incredible - I had a prickly pear margarita, salmon (with corn polenta, grilled peaches, candied peppers, and burnt honey), and the savory creme brulee. I highly recommend all three, especially the savory creme brulee as I've never had anything like it. Our server was very friendly and helpful in choosing menu items (and Sedona hikes). There are also plenty of great gluten-free options and the menu is clearly labeled. Give yourself a bit of extra time to find the restaurant within the resort if you're not already staying there. I highly recommend this restaurant especially if you're spending most of your Sedona time closer to downtown, as this has views of a different canyon/area and feels more secluded than the downtown spots. read more

Exceptional food, great wine list and excellent wait staff. We enjoyed eating on the patio at sunset. Although the prices might suggest dressing for dinner, it is a resort and as such, country club casual is also appropriate. We went there for an anniversary and it quickly became a new favorite in Sedona's list of fine dining. We ordered the cheese plate, the beet and strawberry salad (HIGHLY recommend this!), duck salad (exceptional, but filling), quinoa crusted trout and scallops. Everything was delicious, but the beet salad has to be one of the best balanced, perfectly created salads ever! I'd return just for that. read more

We had delicious margaritas and a charcuterie plate while gazing at Boynton Canyon, Boynton Vortex and Kachina woman as the Sun went down. Travis was amazing at playing the Native American flute and our server was knowledgeable of the history of the geographical location. Phone service is limited so make sure you remember how to get back down after the sun goes down. read more

Loved this restaurant! The food was great & the view was even better! We ordered the meat platter, which wasn't quite worth the $26 but it was still quite a treat! I also ordered the Brussel sprouts ($$16) and my boyfriend ordered the cheese ravioli ($27) both of which were good but, again, nothing quite worth the price. Such a great experience. We had just hiked the nearby vortex (Woo!) and drove here afterwards for lunch. Had a wonderful meal and cocktails on their patio - which was wonderfully shaded just the right amount (May temps in the 80s). Service was fantastic - fun, easy-going and food was perfect. We went at Sunset to have dinner and sat out side with perfect weather. The customer service and our waiter was amazing recommending a lot of things that he liked and are exclusive to Sedona. He checked in on us very frequently to see how everything was going. The food was really good had the house made pasta with Alaskan halibut and fettuccine with chicken. My partner and I had dinner here. The ambiance was lovely as well as the service. From the moment we walked into the resort from sitting down, we were treated very well. Overall the food was very good. A few minor complaints, the bread basket placed on our table was a nice addition to the meal. However, the bread was hard, too chewy and cold. I do not think it was fresh at all. We ordered the gem lettuce salad. It was delicious and all of the ingredients worked in nice harmony together except the salad was overdressed and I sometimes tasted more oil in my bites than the salad ingredients. We also ordered the corn chowder which was marvelous. My partner ordered the lamb which he was very pleased with. I ordered the salmon. It was very good and came with a delicious side. As much as I liked the salad, soup and salmon I wish I didnt order it all so we had room for dessert. I plan to return and try other items on the menu and definitely dessert. read more

The most disappointing meal of our trip to Sedona. Sadly, the restaurants at Enchantment are subpar and don't equate to the luxury standard of the rooms and resort. We started with the cauliflower appetizer which was baked, and poorly seasoned. The cauliflower had no flavor and the balsamic that was supposed to be served was nowhere to be seen. The vegan pesto tasted like dirt, seriously, dirt. I had one bite and pushed my plate forward. It took a lot out of me to not gag up the small amount I had sampled. They had no Sauvignon Blanc by the glass, which was disappointing as well. My husband has the filet, which was "okay, but not great," and I had the pasta dish of the night (veggies and 'burnt marinara.') The pasta was over cooked, and the sauce tasted more "smoked" than anything. Too bold of a flavor and masked any flavors the veggies could provide. The restaurant gifted us a dessert, we were celebrating our anniversary, and this was the highlight of the meal. A like meringue cracker and strawberries and cream. I would stay away from this restaurant and opt for one of the better restaurants in town. read more

Amateur/Young We would have enjoyed our food just fine if it was hot by the time we were able to eat. I'm really at a loss why the boy who delivered our food thought it was a good idea to engage in conversation just after placing our meals on the table. I believe Isiah was his name. I would suggest that when you serve hot food to just step aside and allow us to eat; for that is the reason why we are here, and not to visit with you.
