Dirty blinds. Right by our faces and food.

Poor management!! The blinds on the window by our table we're DISGUSTING, caked on dust and dirt and grime hanging off of them, right by our faces! Made me wonder how gross the kitchen must be. The service was very slow. I won't be going back. All of this is very poor management.

This was my Buffalo Chicken Wrapper. It was embarrassingly small. Almost $13.

Well, I paid for multiple sides of ranch and they were all missing. Food was cold despite picking up on time. Avoid this cheddars at all costs.

Standard experience. Two drinks. One appetizer. One entree. Margarita was fine. The spinach dip was hot and full of spinach. The chips were warmed. The fish and shrimp was hot and crispy. The fries were hot and cooked evenly. The service was good. No issues. No crowd.

Came only just to drink me a nice refreshing drink

I love the food and a drink is delicious. A very quiet place to enjoy. I come here two days a week.

We came late afternoon today for our lunch/dinner after the North Dallas Toy Show across the street. We were seated very quickly and it didn't seem overly busy. Sometimes when's it's busy it's too loud but today it was nice and quiet. We waited a good while before our waitress approached us for drinks, it was long enough that we had time to completely decide our meal. So when she took our drink order we told her we were ready to complete the order with our meal choices. I'm hoping she was just having a bad day but a bad attitude was pretty obvious. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and a raspberry lemonade, my husband ordered a raspberry tea and the chicken fried chicken. She brought our drinks and immediately walked away. I knew as soon as I looked at the raspberry lemonade I knew it wasn't right. It was just water and raspberry syrup and not even much of that at all. Our food was brought out quickly but not by our waitress so couldn't discuss the drink. I finally found the call sever button on the kiosk and she came after a few minutes. I explained the drink situation and she took it and brought me a water with lemon. Buffalo chicken wrap was ok but would have been amazing if it had been hot. The cheese was barely melted which just didn't blend the flavors well. So back to the drink issue, we go to pay and the lemonade that I didn't drink was still on the tab. We call the waitress back over and explain that the drink was still on our tab and could it please be removed. She leaves and comes back and grabs the kiosk. She did take it off. While paying the manager brings me a strawberry lemonade, apparently our server explained what happened to the manager when she was removing the drink from our tab. The manager didn't want me leaving until I knew she was apologetic and that this is what a lemonade should taste like, I took this to mean the manager made it a teaching situation which impressed my Husband and I. Wish it had been a better experience but we will give it another try!

It's no wonder they're rated 2.5 stars -- the rating says it all!!!! I'm honestly a little disgusted with the takeout food we were given. For the amount of money we spent, the quality was beyond disappointing. I wish I had taken pictures of all the food, but my family and I were so turned off that we immediately threw the food away. I even feel sick to my stomach as I write this. The kids' Chicken Alfredo pasta had a rubbery texture, and the New Orleans pasta tasted (and looked) like something straight out of a 1-star kitchen. The hamburger was not cooked medium well as stated and had a flavor more like an Impossible Burger than beef. Surprisingly, the only thing worth eating were the croissants -- thank goodness for those. Unfortunately, that was the one bright spot in an otherwise awful meal. We will never be returning. Cheddar's is just not the same anymore, and in my opinion, they might as well close the doors if this is the best they can offer. Such a shame! Save your money and make your own food lol.

Food took about 20 min and was not hot. Country fried chicken was rubbery. The table next to us didn't get their soup.

There is ample space between tables so you don't feel cramped. There are TVs on the walls but it does not feel like a typical sports bar. The vibe is upscale and the restaurant was very clean. We started with the homemade biscuits and they were excellent. The proceeds go to charity so placing this order was no-brainer. The biscuits were light and airy, not dense at all. The jam and butter were the perfect accompaniment. Those biscuits are winners! Everyone should order and help the charity. I had the spicy chicken and waffles and it was excellent. The chicken was indeed spicy but the honey helped cool me off. The chicken was tender, the waffle was light but could have been hotter. If you order this dish, you will need a glass or two of cold ice water! The wife had shakshura and loved it. She got some toast on the side for dipping. The grits on the bottom were perfectly cooked. Her only complaint was the egg was supposed to be runny and it was firm. The kid had sweet potato pancakes but ended up filling up on the biscuits. Overall, food was 5 star and really enjoyable. The prices are very reasonable. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that our server, who was pleasant enough, was not very efficient. I am not sure what the problem was but her head was in the clouds. We would ask for something, she would say ok, and then she would disappear and forget to bring what we asked for. This happened more than once, more than twice, and maybe three times. It became a running joke at our table, what would the waitress forget this time? Other than spotty service, we liked this restaurant very much and we definitely would return if we are the Star District again.

Known for its lively, rustic atmosphere and warm Southern hospitality, the Frisco location on Page Street delivers everything expected from classic family-style dining--and then some. The main draw of the visit was the Chicken Fried Steak, and it did not disappoint. Tender, generously portioned, and coated in a perfectly seasoned, crispy golden batter, it hit every note of classic Texas comfort. Accompanying the main dish was a lineup of traditional family-style sides that rounded out the meal: Whipped Potatoes and Cream Gravy Creamed Corn Green Beans Fresh Baked Biscuits Even after a heavy, satisfying entree, saving room for dessert is mandatory at Babe's. The Strawberry Shortcake offered a light, sweet finish with sweet berries and fluffy cake that perfectly complemented the savory dinner. What truly elevated the visit was the exceptional hospitality. The front-line service was attentive, friendly, and kept the table well cared for throughout the night. During the meal, a minor hiccup occurred with one of the food items at the table. Rather than letting it disrupt the evening, the restaurant manager stepped in promptly. The manager addressed the situation with genuine care, professional grace, and fairness, resolving the issue well beyond expectations. That level of customer care transforms a simple meal into an outstanding dining memory. Outstanding food, generous portions, and management that truly values the guest experience make Babe's in Frisco a continuous winner.

When I arrived, I was waiting on two family members who were about 10 minutes away, so I went ahead to put our name in. The hostess told me I could go right in, which made it seem like a table was ready, but she never took my name or wrote anything down. After I explained I was waiting for two others, she said "okay" and then started taking names and numbers from other parties, leaving me off to the side without her saying anything else. It was odd, so I sat down. After sitting for maybe 5-7 minutes, I noticed she was taking names for parties of 2 and 3, which was confusing. When I asked about it, she said she already had my party and name even though she had never taken it. At that point, it felt like the Chinese restaurant episode of Seinfeld, where somehow you're waiting but also not really on the list. She finally took my name for a party of three and quoted a 30-45 minute wait, without accounting for the time already lost. My family members arrived shortly after, and we still waited another 20 minutes or so. Once we were seated, the service didn't improve much. Our server was extremely slow, and everything came out at once. We barely had time to get drinks, salads, or biscuits before the food arrived. Refills and additional requests felt more burdensome than attentive. While the food and drinks themselves were great, the overall service felt very disorganized and subpar.

First off the menu options are varied making it hard to choose just one entree. Did we want pancakes or French toast or biscuits....so hard. Everything looked fresh, delicious, and made to order and the portions were definitely shareable. Really $2.00 for a piece of bread toasted seems like a reasonable price. I just finished breakfast at another breakfast spot up on University. I really can't compare apples to apples except for the addition pice of toast. $1.99 for two slices of toast. Over all meal was priced fair. I just don't think I will be back here due to the prices.

She had only been there two weeks, but told us she went through a two week training prior so they know their stuff!! Don't be afraid to ask questions. How I would rate our meal: Drinks: I got the amethyst dream and he got the smoke haus. Presentation of both was really nice, enjoyed both drinks but would probably try something different on our next visit. Appetizer: we got the Caesar salad to share. Loved the croutons and the dressing. It seemed a bit small but possibly for one person it would be enough! Entree: I got the crispy chicken breast, the piece of chicken is huge!! All the flavors of the dish come together so well, it's truly one of my most favorite things I've eaten recently! We also tried a side of mashed potatoes which were good and my fiancé got the red fish which he enjoyed. It is pretty light though, so maybe wouldn't recommend if you're REALLY hungry. Dessert: we got the milk and cookies. I wasn't honestly too impressed. I think I expected them to be warmed and gooey and they were not. However reheating the chocolate chip at home was good! For it being a farm to table restaurant, I found the prices to be very reasonable! I already know what I plan to order on our next visit.
