The service from being seated was horrible. Food was cold. I would have given 1 star but the manager Todd and the server Kyla were great so I gave it 2 stars. 30 minutes just to get drinks ordered, then 13 minutes to get them. Disappointing that we watched those seated minutes prior to us and 15+ minutes after us got drinks, appetizer and food before we got our tea. I placed a pick up order over the phone and arrived 30 minutes later when they told me it would be ready. They said they didn't have a record of my order. They found it eventually I guess, but hadn't even started it, so I had to sit in my car for 30 minutes with two sugared up kids waiting for it to be done. I've never had one bad experience here (and I've been here more than many of you I'm sure). Clean, great service, friendly employees, tasty food. The day after my birthday, I received a free dessert. They also didn't charge me for my tea! I will say, it does get packed on Fridays & Saturdays. However, I see why! This place is AWESOME! The food was fantastic... our group had burgers. The serving sizes are big, and the food is actually priced well! The onion rings are great, the burgers, chicken, and fish are great, and... well, EVERYTHING is great! For dessert they have a skillet cookie... it's HUGE and comes with ICE CREAM! Waitress comes with TWO drinks...thought I wanted top shelf AND a frozem sangria swirl. I explained and she said Oh. We can' t do that. Um excuse me...I have had that numerous times AND it is in the menu! Then the bartender comes out and asks what drink I am ordering? I have him bring me a menu and actually have to POINT to it! Never cleared away dirty dishes until we were ready for birthday cake...that includes those plastic to go boxes and salad bowls. Other person asked for steak sauce that never came. Reached across table instead of going around. Then the kicker. She input orders herself into the kiosk and slid credit cards herself, loudly asking "you want to tip 20% right?" without the opportunity to carefully check the calculations. This has to be one of the worst and unprofessional restaurant experience I've had so far. The food was very good and fresh, but the service was horrible. The food took forever, we got dirty silverware and they replaced them with plastic. Same thing with our cups. Not to mention we didn't get a refill till we were ready to leave. The server held the ziosk right in front of the table and asked if we wanted to leave a 20% tip and she was rushing us through out the whole experience. Awful service. From the host stand not answering our phone calls, to not being greeted by our server once we sat down for over 10 minutes. Food took 40 minutes to come out after we ordered (the restaurant was not busy at all) and it wasn't even fresh, had to ask for ketchup multiple times to multiple people, and paying for the meal took inexcusably long! Never been to Cheddar's before and was excited to try it out, unfortunately I didn't even get the chance to try. Had a party of 8 and was told wait time would be 45 minutes to an hour, understandable. Did not get seated until 20 minutes until closing time, apparently they had a hard time finding us a table. We were seated and 10 minutes went by with no sign of a waiter, we had to ask a passing by server who our waiter was, to which she responded she didn't know but was sure they would be by soon. Our party left without getting a chance to order drinks. I will say that the hostess was very nice when would ask for time updates. 1st off this location has horrible customer service, and the next thing is how is it that every time that i come here my order is wrong. If the waiter or waitress takes the time to write my order down then maybe my food will be right for once. We went to this establishment for a graduation celebration. We waited 2-3hrs to be told by a server she didn't know when our food would be ready. When the food arrived it was cold and we were missing 3 entrees. (The graduates food) The manager is so overwhelmed and the place is poorly cleaned. The carpet is so black and sticky. Arrived 30 minutes later. THEN waited an hour. THEN gave up and asked for a refund. THEN waited 30 minutes to speak to a manager, who never showed up. THEN wandered around the restaurant until I found someone who LOOKED like a manager. They finally processed my refund after 90 MINUTES without a hint of an apology. Giant waste of time! Really good food at an amazing price! My go to's are usually lemon pepper chicken or the buffalo wraps. Both equally delicious. This place is very popular so some days the wait staffs dependability is lacking. Our last visit it took almost 30 minutes before I had to flag a waitress down because no one had bothered coming to our table to even take drink orders. Once our food finally arrived the waitress set the plates down and took off. Didn't ask if everything looked good or if we needed anything (which we did condiments and silverware). Not once did she stop by afterwards to see if we needed anything. The food will never disappoint you, the wait staff on the other hand... we'll just pray it's a good day. read more
