My brother and mom and I go here to pick up lunch once and awhile. The lunch specials are tasty and the portions are generous (we usually each have enough to eat it again the next day). The only down side is the wait for the food when you go to pick up. My grandmother went in an orderd a small fried rice and 2 eggrolls when she got home the egg rolls where not in there. so we called and a little boy answered the phone and I told him what happend I heard him talking to some lady and then he told me to look in the bag like I would really miss seeing 2 eggrolls in a small bag that had only a small fried rice so again I told him there was nothing there then he proceeds to tell me that I should bring it back, now why would I bring back something that I just ordered so I told him to put an adult on the phone. Some lady got on and I told her what happend, the lady on the phone told me that she couldnt help us and basiclly called us liars,so I told her that she lost our business and hung up the phone. Then my grandmother decided to go in there and speak with them it was the same lady and she was yelling at her calling her a liar and telling her that she put the eggrolls in the bag my grandmother told the women do you really think that I would try and get 2 free eggrolls. I would give them less, but you have to give them at least 1 star. Everything we ordered was overcooked. The egg rolls, the beef and shrimp fried rice, and even the crab rangoon were all burnt. I placed my first order online with this restaurant this evening. Upon receiving my order, 1/2 of my order had a weird smell to it, as if it were possibly spoiled. Due to the smell and quick taste of the food, the taste was not better and mirrored the inital bad smell. I called the restaurant and spoke directly to the manager regarding my unhappiness with the food. After explaining the situation, the manager quickly dismissed my thoughts about the food that I purchased. Mind you, this was my FIRST time purchasing food from this business. He was rude and dismissive to me over the phone, and never empathized or provided me with a resolution to my issue with the food (e.g. credit or even to come pick the food up). Decided to order from this place tonight for the first time and what a disappointment,NEVER AGAIN.We ordered for delivery and I was told our order would take 45 minutes,one hour later and we were still waiting so I called and was told the driver was on his way. one hour and 30 min after we ordered he arrives with our cold food. It was so disappointing after paying over $30. I call back to explain after such a long wait and paying $30 I would expect the food to be at least eatable. I asked for credit and was told that they would have to come back for the food before they could give us credit. REALLY!!!!!!! At this point I'm demanding my money back and again the same story " we need you to return the food" I asked why they wanted the cold food back? Was it because they were going to give it to someone else? (Sarcasm ) To my astonishment the answer was"yes". First, I ordered my food off of Grub Hub and received my within 20 min. I should have been suspicious then... I ordered combination rice, chicken wings, beef & broccoli, shrimp toast, egg rolls, and pot stickers. My combination rice had 3 jumbo shrimp in it that was all. My chicken wings, shrimp toast, and egg rolls was fried so hard. It was as if the food had been fried and then refried again. I called the restaurant and spoke to a man that insisted that he cooked at the food and it was fresh. He then started that I had to dump all the rice out and then look for the shrimp because they was all in the middle and bottom. I explained to him that already poured out 2 servers and still nothing. He then said he would be on his way to my house. Within 5 minutes he was here. I showed him the food and he said well you got it in 20 minutes not 45 like it said. I then told him I would rather wait to 45 minutes for quality food then to 20 minutes for something he recooked and was not fresh. Then look at the combination rice and told me that it was all at the bottom and to pour it out and eat it from the middle. He got mad when I told him that was unacceptable, and left. very disappointed. I have not been there in almost a year and it seems that there has been a changing of the guard in the kitchen. Ordered the Crab Rangoon, Vegetable Pot Stickers, Thai Spicy Crazy Noodles w/Shrimp, Beef Egg Foo Young and Beef with Onion. The appetizers were clearly a frozen product and very tastless. The only descernable taste in the crab rangoon was sweet cream cheese (you don't put sugar in the filling for crab rangoon!!!). The Thai Spicy Crazy Noodles were supposed to come with vegetables. There was 1 pea pod (yes, I said one) a small mush tomato quartered (ewwww) a few onion strings and 6 very over-cooked (clearly frozen) shrimp . The beef and onion was borderline hysterical. Beef with brown flavorless "gravy" a whole onion that had been quartered and appeared to have barely touched the cooking surface. Sadly, I will never be ordering food from them again. read more
