They can do no wrong! Carne Asada, Al Pastor, Barbacoa are all really delicious. The tacos are simple, traditional, and delicious. Costra is delicious it's a typical taco on a corn or flour tortilla, but they grill cheese and wrap the meat in the cheese before putting it in the taco. Some of the things that stand out to me are the quality and seasoning of the meat, the freshness of the salsa (definitely pack some heat, but not anything crazy). They are simply the best tacos in Dallas and they do tacos so well! The inside has some seating and they keep the dining area clean. The people who work here have always been so nice, but it is not a sit down and be served type of place. I highly recommend giving Chilangos a try, I drive 40min to an hour for these tacos and it's always worthwhile! read more

These are by far my favorite tacos in the states. I have traveled across and tried many taquerias and these have constantly been on my top list. Of course the best tacos I've tried are in Mexico, the homeland, but these are just as close. Every time I am in Dallas I make it a priority to always swing by. The asada meat is so flavorful and not chewy. I love to get my tacos on flour tortillas, but you can do corn and they'll be just as good. I also appreciate how there are different salsas varying on spice level. The customer service is always top tier and I love that they're always playing Mexican music. I already loved this place for their great tacos! However, they just recently added breakfast to their menu and to find out that lattes were included! If you have a sweet tooth like me don't forget to add churros as your dessert. I did not try the sweets this time as I had already eaten. I ordered an iced latte and it was so well done! It took a little while to be made as it wasn't busy when I went. Then again, I like my coffee to be well done so I didn't mind waiting after all. The staff were very nice and greeted me right away. Other than them getting my order wrong every single time I go it is the best tacos I've ever had. Hands down. I absolutely love their barbacoa tacos, mushroom quesadillas, and elote. They never really answer their phone so you're better off just going there and ordering. It usually takes about fifteen minutes for any size order to get made - large or small. The inside is very small and has VERY limited seating so I always to go my order. Parking lot is small and the spaces are even smaller so beware. read more

Ordered with people from work, we all had our own separate order, not a group order. I paid $19 and got two tacos that looked like they had been run over, guacamole and chips. Tacos were not dressed, they sent a container of cilantro onions peppers etc for each person to make their own tacos. I'm sorry but if I'm paying this much for tacos I want them as I ordered, not having to make them myself from a container that 12 other people have picked through. Both tacos were very tasty and flavorful. The chicken was seasoned to perfection, grilled and chopped into small bits and stuffed into what tasted like a fresh corn tortilla (but I'm not sure if in fact it was freshly made). I typically go for elotes from a particular gas station (I know but IYKYK); however, I enjoyed the elote from Chilangos. The elote is made with mayo, cheese, a hint of hot sauce and corn, of course. We went to their newest location. It's clean, decorated with lots of pride and you see your food being prepared through their open kitchen--not to mention the moment you walk into the restaurant, a gust of delightful aromas of Mexican food hits your nose. I have to say that the best taco I liked was the chicken. it was very flavorful and moist. Delicious. I love some Barbacoa and carne asada. I was very disappointed. I had a taco craving, so I visited Chilangos for take out on a Friday night. As soon as I walked in the meat aroma told me I was in the right place. I ordered a few different types of tacos and two elote cups. The elote cup can easily feed two people. It's pretty spicy and has a healthy amount of cheese, which I loved. All of their meats are extremely tender and seasoned well. My favorite was the chicken costra taco, all the cheese and the seasoning on the chicken really balanced out. FYI- costra taco can be with any meat and it's a layer of cheese cooked around the meat and they put in a tortilla and dress it with the regular toppings. I haven't lived in Dallas long but I know this has to be one of the best tacos places here. read more

Overall I really enjoyed the food that I got here! I think I was just expecting a bit more. When it comes to the location, although the spot is small, everyone is sitting so close together and hardly any of the staff wear masks, which was scary to me as I can see who prepares the food and there are employees that interact with multiple customers without masks. The prices however were EXTREMELY FAIR! I got 4 chicken tacos and elote for just $12 and that is with a tip! I believe that is a steal!!! Made a quick stop here at chilangos tacos to give these tacos a try. Well to start off it's a small establishment but very well arranged with seating and some nice neon lights. I had 4 Suadero Tacos and 2 Chicken. The tacos are actually really good and made to order with fresh hand made tortillas. Yummm.. before I left I ordered two more Asada tacos which I need to try before I go. Those were also good. Nothing like eating great tacos with a great Jarritos.. This is by far the best Taco spot I have found in the DFW area. First thing to know, expect a line if you are going between 6pm and 8pm. The line does go fast and the service is fantastic. The prices are also great, even after inflation which has increased the prices on the tacos. My favorites are the carne asada quesadillas but everything here taste good so go with your favorite meat and enjoy. Definitely get the elotes as well. The service from the cashier was trash when she gave an attitude to us and acted as if she was better than you. The attitude given to our party is not acceptable and not to mention the carne asada had a lot of fat in the tacos making salsa verde a better option. Order at the counter and wait for your food which actually moves pretty quickly. Order tacos by the piece.. they range from 1.99 to 3.00 bucks. Not too shavy. I never had anything like this carne asada costra before. It was interesting and packed with meat. It was good. My all time tacos are al pastor. If you can get them right, I will be your die hard patron from here on out. These were good, just not Revolver Taco Lounge good, but good.
