    Menu. Saturday April 25, 2026

Saturday April 25, 2026 After working out at Planet Fitness Kahala. It was lunch time. So, we decided to come to Chili's as it was close by and we already had parking. We haven't been here in a very long time. My cousin used to live up the street by me. But, then he moved to Aiea. Back then we used to come all the time. Plenty parking. We were seated right away. Service was friendly and fast from Cammie. We ordered. Food came out shortly after. It looked good. Everything tasted good. I was so hungry and I thought I would eat it all. But, after a while I couldn't eat it all and ended up taking half of it home as it was a lot of food. I ate it for dinner later. Ambiance is casual and comfortable in here. We will be back again as the service and food is still awesome from what we remember.

Got a pretty good deal with the 3 for me promotion. Less than $60 for two people for entree, drink and appetizer. Portions are huge, food is pretty good and drinks are a nice touch. This chilis is pretty laid back when it's not busy times. The server was chill and overall experience was good. Standard chilis, would go again. Only downside is the Kahala location doesn't accept rewards.

We went for a Sunday dinner at around 500pm and were sat right away. It actually took longer to find parking since the parking lot was crowded when we arrived. We got the Beef Queso with Chips and Salsa, Quesadilla Explosion Salad, Mushroom and Swiss Burger with Curly Fries, and a Chicken Crispers and Corn Kid's Meal. Beef Queso with Chips and Salsa This is one of our must gets when we go. We didn't know that they took off the Beef Queso from the menu for the Southwest Queso but were glad that it came back. The chips and salsa are great as well. Quesadilla Explosion Salad We that this salad was pretty good. It was pretty filling for a salad and everything went together well in it. Mushroom and Swiss Burger with Curly Fries The burger was good. The patty was cooked well but could have used a little more seasoning. The Curly Fries were pretty good. It was our first time getting it and we were satisfied with it. Chicken Crispers and Corn Kid's Meal The chicken was as expected. Cooked well and tasted good. The service was great. Our server was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. We will definitely go back for another meal.

This is us after eating dinner at Chili's. Can you tell we're full and don't want pics? We like sleep already

Steph was our waitress that night and her services, the food and everything was on point the wait time wasn't long and we had a big party of 8 but the workers were so accommodating and we didn't wait longer than 45mins. We would take our kids there again for sure!

We got a new server when we went on Friday , it was her first day. I wish I remembered her name cuz she made our night, she was so funny and nice! She accidentally put in an order for something we didn't order but her attitude was so great and we weren't bothered by the mistake. The manager was kind of mean to her and made her feel bad about it when it was literally not a big deal at all. He took it off our bill and made a big stink about it apologizing profusely and blaming her but we didn't even know we were getting charged for it initially. Like dude chill out lol. You could feel the stress seeping out of him. Girly had to apologize on behalf of him LOL. I wish they didn't simplify the interior I miss OG chilis vibes. Food is always good though. Triple dipper and quesadilla explosion salad are a must. Our mozzarella sticks were warm but not stretchy warm :( also I think they changed up their chicken tenders?? They're SOOOOO much better. Burger was just fine, nothing to write home about it. Their margs were really good too!! I always compared them to Dave and Buster's but their drinks are so much better.

Cutest little ribs on a FULL rack (2 weren't eaten). I'm no expert, but as a pig hunter, I know that's not a FULL rack.

Decided to go to lunch there. Fairly empty for a Sunday, but was a gorgeous day so hopefully people were enjoying the outdoors. Hostesses really nice. Gave me a run down of what booster/highchair can and can't be used at certain tables. I didn't request a particular type of table nor do I really care as long as my kid is safe. Maybe some customers are picky about that so they felt the need to justify it? It's always freeeeezing in there. I brought a jacket. Put pants on baby, and since I forgot her jacket, threw a blanket over her shoulders. She was content with that an her pepper to color. Our waiter...Dylan?...was awesome. He was quick to react on things, talked up baby, just overall a good server. Food was pretty good. - Triple Dipper - Burger bites tasty, but burger on 1 took up only half the bun. - Southwest Eggrolls - tasty, but soft. Like the wrapper just can't get crispy so it was messy. - Mozz sticks - Better than normal sticks that have too much batter. I still ripped off half the batter though. - House salad - Good. It was like the end of the crouton bag was emptied on top the salad so nice and salty. I want it like that all the time now! - Full rack of ribs - smallest pig ever. The pic is very deceiving. 5 small ribs eaten, 2 small ribs taken home. That is NOT a full rack. Someone snagged some ribs. And when that that tiny should throw in extras. Also since skinny, it was overcooked and dry. Hubs did not finish it...and did not eat the leftover either. - Side Mac and cheese -nice and cheesey. Hubs and baby really liked. - FF okay. Nothing special. Bathroom was stink. Needs some serious deep cleaning. Some things great! Some thing very not great. But the staff very nice so made it a good time...

I've been eyeing the triple dipper and it did not disappoint. You can't go wrong with fried mozzarella and the happy hour drink is really tasty!

Came here for a quick lunch on a weekday and was greeted & seated promptly by host. Our Server was friendly & pleasant. We ordered original 1/4 pound burger with fries & the mushroom Swiss burger with onion rings. Both were cooked to requested temp. Service & food was good so we will be back when in neighborhood.

We've been to many Chili's around the continental US and the Kahala Mall location is the busiest. The food is always consistently good and comes out hot. Texas cheese fries are a meal in itself. Burgers are juicy and delicious. The servers are always friendly and helpful to our needs. Aloha and mahalo.

Stopped in for a quick, late lunch. We were seated immediately which was nice! It was about 2pm on a Sunday afternoon. The service was quick and responsive. Our food and drinks came out promptly. The skillet queso was still sizzling hot! I'm no stranger to Chili's and this specific location does a good job. I wouldn't say GREAT, but definitely good! The reason for my 4 star, not 5 star review, was because when I tried to use my Chili's rewards coupon for a free drink or chips & salsa, I was told that they aren't allowed to accept them anymore. Which is totally not uniform across all locations. I have a valid coupon with the company and it should be honored. Overall, the experience was good. The restaurant was busy but not too noisy. Service was attentive! But I think chilis management has some work to do so everyone's on the same page with the Chili's rewards program...

Located at Kahala Mall on the East side outside the mall, if we pass California Pizza it is across the parking lot. Went there for Mother's Day's lunch and we both had the Garden Salad & shared Triple Dipper and endless Chips & Salsa. The Garden Salads were fresh and crisp and they place the dressing on the side without asking which is great. The Triple Dipper I enjoyed the rolls it had a nice flavor and crispy to it, my wife said it was a little spicy. The BBQ Chicken nugget was good and it came with sides of ranch dressing. We ordered too much so didn't try the hamburger sliders. The chips & salsa came out warm and fresh like just out of the fryer and not overly salty or oily.

It was my first time dining at Chili's, and overall the experience was a mix of great service but average food. We ordered the Triple Dipper appetizer with the Nashville hot mozzarella sticks, burger sliders, and Southwestern egg rolls. The mozzarella sticks were a bit over-seasoned and too spicy for what I expected, but the egg rolls were flavorful and crispy. The sliders were fine, though the buns tasted like they came straight from the freezer. For our mains, we got the two half racks of ribs and cheddar jalapeño sausage combo, plus Alex's Santa Fe Burger. The portions were generous for the price, and the fries were actually fantastic, perfectly crisp and seasoned. The ribs fell off the bone, which was nice, but they lacked that extra depth of flavor that makes ribs memorable. The burger itself was okay, but the bun again had that frozen taste. The best part of the visit was the service, our server was incredibly thoughtful, quick, and friendly, which really made the experience enjoyable despite the food being hit or miss. Afterward, both of us felt a bit of indigestion, probably just from how heavy the meal was overall. I'd say Chili's offers good value and excellent service, but the food didn't quite meet my expectations this time.

From the warmest hospitality to the best food we had in Honolulu, XO completely exceeded our expectations. We only wish we had a restaurant like this back home in Chicago. Every dish was memorable. The Hamachi Crudo was the best we had on the island, fresh, vibrant, and perfectly citrusy balanced. The fried chicken absolutely lived up to the hype and then some. My personal favorite was the perfectly seared scallop with crusted shrimp, an unforgettable combination. My husband and I also decided to add the salmon, and we were so glad we did. Every bite was plump, fresh, and beautifully blackened. What truly blew us away was the value. We've been fortunate enough to dine at Alinea and EL Ideas in Chicago, and XO reminded us of what those restaurants might have inspired at a fraction of the price. The level of creativity, execution, and care that goes into every plate is extraordinary, yet the experience is incredibly approachable. We left completely satisfied, already talking about when we could come back. One bonus, if it's your thing! It's currently BYOB while awaiting their liquor license renewal in August, so if you enjoy pairing your own wine or drinks with dinner, take advantage of it while you can. And do not even think about skipping dessert. The Brown Butter Bunny Mochi was the single best sweet bite of our entire trip, even edging out the delicious malasadas we raved about all week. Whether you take an Uber, rent a car, or make the short drive from Waikīkī, it's worth every minute. This is the kind of place locals should be proud of and visitors will never forget. If you want to eat like a local while treating yourself to one of the best meals on the island, XO is the place. Just go!

I recently went to celebrate my birthday, and everything was just as delicious as I remembered. This time, I tried the peanut tofu. I wasn't expecting anything out of the ordinary, but I was pleasantly surprised by the creamy tofu, sweet soy sauce, pickled veggies, and pickled mushrooms--I thoroughly enjoyed every bite and will definitely order it again. In the past, I've had the meatballs and beet poke, which were both fantastic as well. The true star of the show, though, has to be the kiawe bean brownie. It is hands-down the most perfect dessert to end your night. Between the warm, rich brownie, the black sesame gelato (which isn't overly sweet), and the crunchy mac nut toffee that ties it all together, it keeps me coming back every single time. Excellent ambiance, top-tier service, and consistently delicious food. Mud Hen Water is a total MUST!

I tried the Harmless Hugo, which had a refreshing herbal/floral vibe. Their Kaimuki Cruiser was very tart and citrusy. The corned beef and kalo hash was tasty but a bit salty. Eggs were done perfectly and the kim chee was a nice twist. The ma po tofu on biscuits was surprising and good. East meets West here, with a slightly spicy ma po tofu made with crimini mushrooms, which had a pleasant meatiness. The biscuits were excellent , but the watercress salad could have had more contrasting flavor. Since the dish was already soy-forward, maybe a citrus vinaigrette on the watercress might have provided a nice contrast. Our server was very good and explained all the dishes and specials. Ambiance is old-school Kaimuki with the Yamaha motorcycle at the front door to greet you.

I really like the premise of this family-friendly restaurant, which spotlights fresh, local ingredients, at a mid-range price point. et al. has a lot of good things going for it, The good: 1. Well-lighted, warm-hued interior with a nice, contemporary vibe. The high ceilings, clean lines, and rounded storage vaults reminded me of Italy. Cute "local" Hawai`i touches: palaka-inspired banquette upholstery, Hawaiian-quilt design screening on the tiled floor. -More veggie-forward than a lot of places: always good to find places that don't mask their greens with heavy sauces and treat vegetable preparation with respect. Ovo-lacto vegetarians will not starve at this place. 2. Cheerful, friendly, attentive, and efficient service. Food came out quicky. Cold things were cold; hot things hot. Water was replenished frequently. 3. Overall, we enjoyed the food! It reminded me a little of the old Mariposa at Neiman Marcus Ala Moana, in terms of menu. I appreciated the simple, clean, bright flavors that highlighted the fresh, local ingredients - no heavy-handed demi-glaces or sauces detracting from dishes. While not exceptional or innovative, et al.'s middle-of-the-road, easygoing, familiar, "safe" flavors have broad appeal, making this restaurant a smart bet for parties with non-adventurous diners. I had the catch of the day: my opah came with an addictive, zesty mojo sauce (like a spicy chimichurri, bright with garlic, cilantro, and lime), Ho tomatoes, eggplant, and garlic rice: a winner! My fellow diner had the Kahuku Golden Tomato Malfaldine: tasty, though a bit one-note, but on the other hand, they had perfectly cooked pasta and crookneck squash. 4. While we didn't take advantage of this, the restaurant shows sensitivity to those with dietary needs/preferences. It openly states on its menu that they're willing to modify menu items, making things vegan, gluten-free, dairy free, etc. 5. Easy-peasy online reservation via Open Table. And areas for improvement: 1. Garlic Bread: can't ask for a better foundational base than Chris Sy's Breadshop City loaf: first-rate crusty bread; there was robust garlic flavor, and fresh chives to further amplify savoriness. Unfortunately, my dining partner and I both thought it was over-buttered (couldn't really discern the miso in the miso butter) and overly salty from the cheese. That being said, I'm certain there would be diners that might've thought the seasoning and buttering was perfect: this may be a matter of taste. But $6 for a halved slice of bread? Really?! Ouch. 2. Menu labeling issues: -Sumida Farms Watercress Salad: despite the name, the salad had barely any watercress and mostly kale. Not lacinato kale (Italian kale) either, as advertised on the description, but curly kale. If et al. listed this menu item as kale salad with watercress and didn't specify the type of kale (or hedged by saying "seasonal kale"), it would've been fine. Fortunately, we both like kale, and this was a delicious salad that was an absolute pleasure to eat, deftly dressed with housemade Green Goddess dressing, as good as it comes, fresh kale, watercress sprigs, watermelon radish slices, diced Asian pear, and Marcona almonds: savory, sweet, crunchy. The misleading advertising is problematic. -You should let diners know via the menu description if an item is spicy. The mojo sauce on the fish was dynamite, but I'm a spice-addict, and I'd rank the heat level as medium, maybe medium-hot for most people. Diners with no/low tolerance for chiles should be warned ahead of time. 3. Might want to clean the banquette upholstery: some visible stainage. With a few refinements, I could see et al. becoming a go-to East Honolulu destination for date night, or lunch out with the girls, or a nice but not break-the-bank special dinner out with the family.

I'd never been to their other locations, so this was my first experience -- and honestly, it left an impression. That spot in Kapolei has seen a few restaurants come and go over the years. Before Scratch Kitchen, there was Sugar Cane, and if I reach far enough back, I'm pretty sure a Mexican restaurant lived there too. It's one of those spaces where you hope the next place finally sticks. But the food at Scratch Kitchen? Absolutely delicious. The kind of meal where the pictures alone make your mouth water. If "smell‑a‑vision" or "lick‑your‑screen" technology existed, everyone would understand exactly what I mean. Every dish was full of flavor, beautifully done, and perfect for a Mother's Day treat. Which is why I can't help but wonder what happened -- like so many restaurants before them in that same location. With food that good, you'd hope they'd be the ones to break the cycle. All in all, I'm grateful I got to enjoy that meal with my daughter. It was memorable, delicious, and one of those small moments you hold onto. Marie

Stopped by Scratch Kitchen in Honolulu for brunch, and honestly, I'm surprised it wasn't packed. Either way, it made for a super relaxed experience with no wait and plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the food. Loved: The street tacos with the tempura shrimp were easily the star of the meal. 100% worth it. Light, crispy shrimp with a flavorful slaw and just the right amount of heat--basically a flavor party in every bite. The burger was another quiet star. Juicy patties, nicely seasoned, and stacked just right. Nothing super flashy, but really satisfying. Definitely a good pick if you're not in the mood for brunchy stuff. The Miss: Tried the French toast and... meh. It looked great on the plate but tasted dry and definitely didn't live up to the level of the other dishes. Might've just been an off day or a matter of personal taste, but I'd skip it next time.
