I used to love this place a few years back, but it's gotten very bad. Went in at 615pm Sunday night. First bad omen was only a few tables occupied, and most of the rest of the empty tables were dirty....dirty dishes etc. Second bad sign, a lot of bad reviews... Third sign was the server - she was alone and overwhelmed with those 4 tables. Fourth sign - more tables arrived after us (party of 2), and they ordered and were served before us. Fifth sign - our app came out after 45 mins. It was a green onion pancake, served plain. Asked for dipping sauce, advised they don't do that. Final sign; after an hour, we gave up and left. Ordered two basic quick items (fried rice and mongolian beef). Went to the new Saigon Corner down the road. Packed house, SRO. Fully staffed. Waited 5 mins to be seated, and had our order within 10 mins. Delicious. They are successful and are being rewarded with standing room only crowds. read more

What happened to this place?! It used to be the best in Morgan Hill. I just spent almost $70 to get a combination plate, chow mein, and egg rolls. For that kinda price tag, you'd think the food would at least be good, but not a bit of it had any flavor. The kung pao chicken had no spice. I'm not even sure what flavor it was trying to be. The sweet and sour didn't taste like sweet and sour and was disgustingly soggy. The fried rice might as well have been white rice with peas. The only thing I actually did taste was the gamey, reheated flavor of all the chicken. The whole combo plate was inedible and went straight in the trash. What a super disappointing waste of money. Ok let's address the biggest issue folks have with this place. Service. Food has a tendency to arrive at your table long after you have forgotten what you ordered. Why 5 stars then? Because the food is yummy that's why. Instead of going and sitting down we just order it door dash or call in the order and pick up. So far each delivery/pickup experience has been perfect. My family's favorite items to get are salt and pepper prawns (no shells), fried rice, wonton soup, lemon chicken and we recently discovered the spicy chicken and string beans and the skinny noodle chow mein that has a name I can't remember but it's delish! So try to avoid eating in if you are in a hurry. If not then sit down relax and plan to take it slow but yummy. read more

Was here over the weekend, (after just opening). Food and service was great! Very good portions of food. I ordered over $100.00 worth of dishes, and all were very good! Combo appetizer plate was $20.00 and was huge! We had food to take home for two days afterwards. Literally, you could order a combo appetizer plater, a vegtable and rice or noodles and only spend about $60.00 for lunch and have food for four! Can't wait to return. We went for lunch and each ordered a lunch special, which is a bargain given that it's only $10 and is a huge portion. We also ordered a Chicken Salad and it was delicious. this place is a hidden gem. The restaurant is clean and beautiful inside. Located on Main St, you might miss if you are not paying attention. The food was amazing and flavors remind me of dishes some I had in SF Chinatown. There are some hidden specialty drinks that are the website, not on the in dining menu. they are subject to ingredient availability, but well worth it. I highly recommend looking at the website drink menu before coming in. Just request the drink name and they will make it for you. I had the Red Panda. The staff was very nice and our food came out quickly. Highly recommend this place and I will be coming back for sure. If you get a chance, ask for Lily and request the Red Panda. read more

We've been waiting 90 minutes & have received only a drink and a soup so far. We watched the manager fight with a customer and scream profanities when the customer complained about how long she had to wait for her pick up. I wasn't upset by how much I paid, I was upset that I was lied to. The vegetable chow mein and vegetable fried rice was a total of $21.69. The Yelp menu said it would be $6.95 for each one. When I got to the restaurant they informed me that the Yelp menu was wrong. Hopefully, they will update it for future customers, but sadly I don't think they will. It still says their business is "unclaimed" on Yelp. Regardless, about how this restaurant feels about Yelp, they need to take control of their business. Every time I visit their Yelp page there is a box that says, "Claim This Business". I know it may be difficult to claim something that you didn't even want in the first place, but if they don't do it, who is supposed to? Like if a new company started putting everybody's profile online and then anyone had the ability to rate and review their experience with that person, I'd definitely want to claim myself as myself. I might not like the company that started doing this, but if it's going to be online anyway I might as well claim my own profile. I hope that I would be able to get an overall of 3 stars if people were rating their experience with me, but that may be asking for a lot. Sometimes I'd give my experience with myself a 1 star, so why should I expect to get 3 stars from others. My family and I wanted to go out for a nice dinner, but was sadly let down with this place. Another review had mentioned that this place has new owners, my wife and I have been here before the new owners and it was awesome. The server who took our order was professional and nice. We ordered shrimp chow mein and never received it. At the end of the dinner they brought us the bill for a $100. I caught that the shrimp chow mein was still on there and it was $16. I told them to correct it. Another lady came up (not our server) and claimed to have brought it to the table and cleaned it off (blatant lie). I said no you didn't, then she looked at my family and I incredulously. Then she said let me go check the back, 10 mins later she came back and admitted the mistake and would correct the bill. When she brought the bill back it was 98 dollars. She increased other items on the bill to make up for the loss of the chow mein. She really thought I was this stupid. I smiled and took my check and signed it. I didn't want to argue with this woman. I let it go but she clearly ripped me off. I didn't want to argue in front of other customers and my family. I lost $14 and they are now receiving this review. I'm writing this to warn people. I took my family and left. read more

Maybe they've improved a lot, because we went there last month and the food was exceptional. Usually when you get Mongolian beef at some Chinese restaurants the Mongolian beef in some restaurants is spongy because some Chinese restaurants soak the meat in baking soda to pump it up. Not here. I've lived in Morgan Hill 30 years now. I've seen great Chinese restaurants close and I have no idea how this one has stayed open. When it first opened it was great, food was good, place looked nice, the wait staff for the most part were friendly and it became a staple in our town. Over time the wait staff became rude..the owner in particular and the food isn't always consistent and it always took longer then expected (especially when calling in an order). But NOW to add to these things that are annoying I can't even call in an order without an issue. They've implemented door dash! Every time I try to call in an order, they can't hear, they're confused, they're not friendly, especially the owner she is always rude and when I get there to pick it up, it's never ready on time and she can careless if you wait on an order. Done, the food is still good But their are other places I can go to to get good food. read more
